Starting to get tired from the fighting, Igglybuff glared at Umbreon and launched herself in another Faint Attack.

[RESULT: 3] -1 Type Disadvantage

Shaking off the bubble attack, Espeon retaliated with another tackle.

[RESULT: 4]

Amber: 14/32 *confused*
Espeon: 5/15
Umbreon: 6/15 (-1 to its attacks)

[Alan Nurmi]

Amber stared at the Espeon that had tackled into her. She floated in the air and was about do the same attack again but Alan stepped in.

“Use your Iron Tail again, Amber” he stated sternly. “You can do this.”

Amber’s tail became all metallic as she shot towards the Espeon and she brought the tail around aiming for the Espeon as best as she could. She slammed her tail on top of the Espeon's head, right between the ears, and then floated upwards. She giggled as she had been successful that time.

Meanwhile, the Umbreon seemed to smirk at the Igglybuff’s continued defiance. This one wouldn’t be defying him any longer. Without his trainer’s command, he charged forward as dark energy surrounded his body. His trainer was surprised but she didn’t tell him to stop or anything. She was rather excited after all. The Umbreon slammed into the Igglybuff again forcefully but drew back some of his strength as to not hurt it too badly.

Huffing desperately as she fought, Igglybuff charged at Umbreon yet again, only to fly past the larger Pokemon.

[Alan Nurmi]

Alan took out a pokeball and returned Amber, she was not doing so well as far as he was concerned, and that Espeon got lucky with confusing her. But what Pokemon did he choose now? There were four other choices that hadn't been hurt yet. Well, now was a better time than any to find out how good that Emolga was. He took out another pokeball and released his next Pokemon.

"Let's see what you can do, Emolga" he said sternly as his Pokemon was revealed. "The Espeon is already weak so you shouldn't have too big of a problem with this one."

Alan had to hope that this dratted opponent wouldn't get lucky again.

"Bre!" the Umbreon declared as if it was saying that it had won this match.

The Umbreon once again let out the dark energy within it body and tried to ram into its opponent.

[RESULT: 7]

This time, the Umbreon was not holding back at all. And driving the Igglybuff as far as away as it could as possible with its attack. It let out its victory cry once he saw the Igglybuff had fainted on the ground.

"Igglybuff!" Amy called, running to catch the pink Pokemon as she fainted. While she was distracted, Zorua leaped forward, smirking at Umbreon.

Seeing the new Pokemon but not having the energy to try for another Confusion, Espeon attacked with Synchronoise.

Emolga didn’t seem to pay much attention to the battle until she was hit by that attack. She stood her ground and had her cheeks sparking and was rearing and ready to go. She gathered even more electricity in her cheeks.

“Alright, let that electricity loose” Alan ordered. “Fry that Espeon.”

“Emol!” Emolga cried as she let loose her electricity straight for the Espeon. The electricity struck the Espeon hard, the currents running through the Espeon's body, and then the Espeon went limp, indicating that it had fainted. The Emolga cried out in delight.

As she ran quickly back towards Alan and looked up at him. She wanted praise from him.

"Emolga!"

"You did good, Emolga" he replied cheerfully.

Alan didn't call the Emolga back for now. She was useful and well the battle was over, wasn't it? I mean he could just have her be free for a bit instead of being in her pokeball. He turned to look over towards the trainer.

"Nice battle" he said to the little girl before turning to look over and see how Amy was doing.

The Umbreon growled as he saw the Zorua hop into the battle. This was a proper battler, not that pink cute Pokemon. He decided to try it safe with this one.

"Tackle that Zorua, Umbreon" the little girl shouted out her command in a excited manner.

He charged straight for the Zorua and did his best to ram his body into his opponent.

[RESULT: 1]

The Umbreon didn't do that much damage. He was itching to get this battle over with but the damage was taking its toll on him.

Quickly recovering from the attack, Zorua stared at Umbreon for a moment before leaping forward and attacking with Fury Swipes.

The Umbreon surged forward, aiming to tackle into that dark fox Pokemon, and do some more damage to his opponent before he went down.

His attack didn't go through as that other fox had stopped him with a paw. The attack didn't do any damage and he was really hurting. Only if he could do something more but he couldn't. This was it for him if that Zorua could hit him.

Looking at Umbreon, Zorua opened his mouth in a wide grin before getting ready to use Fury Swipes again.

The Umbreon smirked as he was still in this. That fox wasn't much good after all. He was still in this though he wished that the Zorua would stop playing around.

He tried once again to tackle into his opponent at Emma's command.

[RESULT: 7]

The Umbreon successfully tackled into his opponent and smiled at this. He could do more damage than he thought he could. No way that this other Pokemon would beat him.

Getting thrown back by the attack, Zorua glared at Umbreon before leaping forward to bite on his opponent's tail.

[RESULT: 6] -1 Type Disadvantage

As Umbreon fainted, Zorua puffed his chest out happily while Emma returned her fainted Pokemon to his pokeball. "Sorry about that. Zorua can be a little rough," Amy said, scooping up the fox Pokemon into her arms. "Anyway, you two should get going. You're parents are probably looking for you right now," she said as the two girls nodded, running off back home.

[Alan Nurmi]

Alan clapped his hands at the battle performance of Amy's Pokemon and well that of Amy herself.

"You and your Pokemon did a good job, Amy" he said complementing her.

After that, he looked around for anymore trainers but then again there would be more around here anyway he just had to walk a bit. The day was still good, no signs of having to go back yet like heavy rain or some sort of storm, and so he had plenty of time to get some training in before facing off against the first challenge on his journey. He looked down at his Emolga. She was still relatively well. Not too much damage was done to her. And he hadn't given her name yet.

"Partner. What do you think of the name, Mirai?" he said warmly to his Emolga. "Do you like it?"

"Emolga!" the electric flying squirrel Pokemon cried out excitedly. She started running around in circles, forgetting that anyone else was there, but her frantic trip ended shortly when she tripped and ran into her trainer's legs. She liked the name as Alan could tell quite readily.

[Amy]

As Amy returned her fainted Igglybuff to her Pokeball, the sound of loud music came from farther down the road. Following the music to it's source, she and Alan found a girl playing a guitar and her friend sitting against a tree, his head bobbing along with the music. As the music ended, the girl noticed the new arrivals and walked towards them. "Hey there. Nice to finally have an audience to play for. If you guys don't mind, how about helping us practice with something else?" she asked, indicating the pokeballs at her waist.

Alan thought the music was okay, not bad but just overall average, and well he wasn’t going to say that. Now, a battle was more his thing. He smiled at them.

“Sure, I don’t mind. Need to train my Pokemon to do better” he replied casually as he already had his own Pokemon in mind. “Let’s do it, Mirai. Show them what you can do.” He looked over at the girl with the guitar. "You'll be my opponent."

Mirai ran up and took a battle position in front of him. Her cheeks were sparking as she stared at the bobbing Chatot. This was her chance to shine even more. Take the stage and show that she was useful to her trainer.

“Ya know what to do with the bird. Prove your worth” Alan commanded.

Mirai responded by unleashing a small amount of electricity aimed at the bird. Her trainer was counting on her and with a command like that she just had to show that she excelled at battling.
([RESULT: 3]) + 1 (type advantage)

The electricity struck the bird head on, shocking it a little, and did some damage but not as much as Alan expected Mirai to do as before. She hadn't been battling as much on his team as the others had. That went without saying for most of the Pokemon on his team.

With a sigh, Amy held Zorua tighter and reached for another Pokeball, sending out Natu, who stared at the Oddish in front of her. "Natu, be safe okay? Try not to get too hurt," Amy told the flying-type, who stared at her trainer briefly before turning to Oddish and attacking with Extrasensory.
