The Knock Off was fairly effective, hitting Bolt nicely in the chest, but Bolt wasn't going down easily. Little sparks resonated from his cheeks as he prepared for another Quick Attack, his eagerness to win excelling.

"Now use your bite Arid" Cassie called out.
Arid moved around until he could get in position and latched on with his bite.

Yeow! This battle was getting neck and neck! Both Pokemon, Abby knew, is winding down ever so slowly, only Arid just a bit more due to the screech attack. Bolt however, only doubled up on energy, releasing himself from the bite attack and hitting back with a Quick Attack!

This was going in her favor and Cassie knew it. time to fight a Bit dirty. "Poison Sting Arid. If it took it could turn the battle in her favor.

Ugh! Another good hit! Bolt got blasted by the needles from the Skorupi but he knew he wasn't nearly done yet! Being his only attack, he roused up more energy to bring out another Quick Attack!

"Again Arid!" Cassie cried out.
Arid took am and fired off more of his Poisoned needles.
[RESULT: 8] Poison takes effect after one attack

Ouch... that Poison Sting definitely gotten a hold of Bolt, probably poisoning him in the process... yeah, definitely poisoning him. Abby bit her lip and pulled out an Antidote, knowing that she was probably going to have to use it afterwards. Bolt, the little trooper he was though,got back up and unleashed another Quick Attack on the Skorupi, knowing that he was going to hit the poison soon.
[RESULT: 0] +2 Attack

The blow form the last attack was so weak that it didn't even harm Arid. Cassie felt herself give a small smirk. they might actually have a chance now.
"Now bite Arid!" The next one or two attack would finnish the battle.

Bolt had very little energy left, almost none at all since the poison had finally set in and started taking its effect upon him. Suddenly, he seized up and the Poison set in, taking over. He had lost the battle and Abby ran over, immediately applying the Antidote to make sure the Poison hadn't set in any more than it already was. She smiled and put Bolt in his Pokeball, along with the rest of his crew. She turned to Cassie and smiled. "Well played Cas, well played..."

Cassie ran over to her worn out Arid. "Are you alright my darling?"
He let out a weak whine. "OH don't you worry." She pulled him close into a hug. "I'm going to take you straight to the Pokemon center and they'll fix you up good as new."
Not even bothering to change, her cloths were dry enough, she started to pack her things.
"Mirage transform into an Abra please." Cassie picked up Arid and returned Oasis. "Abra has a move called teleport. That move can take us back to the pokemon center quickly."
Mirage transformed and concentrated on the move she needed to prefore. once she had the idea of how to use it she nodded to Cassie. Cassie held out a hand to Abby. "Shall we go?" Just before Mirage activated her teleport she glared at Abby."And it's CASSIE!"

Abby barely had time to get her stuff together, her clothes also fairly dry now, and grabbed her guitar just as the Teleport was starting to work. Abby heard Cassie ring out her voice at the end, making Abby laughed as they phased all the way back to Pokemon Center.

TIMESHIFT!
Finally, after a good walk, they reached the edge of the lake once more, ready to swim across it... once again. Of course, this would take some time and 'Pokemon resources', but she had utter confidence in her Pokemon... er, Cassie's Pokemon! Looking behind her, she waved her hands and shouted at Cassie, "C'mon Slowbro! I wanna get to the next town before nighttime!"

Cassie frowned and walked up behind Abby. She gave her a mighty shove to send her flying into the lake. "Is that any way to talk to some one who is helping you out?" she scolded when Abby surfaced.
Right after she released Mirage and Oasis and cannon balled into the water next to Abby. "LET'S GOO!" she shouted and Mirage let her latch onto her.

Luckily Abby had already stripped down and waterproofed everything when she was thrown into the water, although unexpectedly. "Hey!" Immediately she grabbed Oasis and zipped right behind Cas, hearing her shout out. It made Abby chuckle, noticing she was starting to rub off on the girl.
