Abby smiled, going over to the others and immediately landing in front of them, startling the sleepier ones and smiled. "Alright guys and girls! We have a battle! Who is up for it?!" Presto, of course, was eager and willing for a challenge, wanting to show his worth to the rest of the team. Ivy, being a bit grumpy, was not in the mood. Missy was fast asleep, Tyrone nodding off, and Jolie just feeling hungry in general. The only one who was ready was Bolt who, quite frankly, got tugged by his little arm up into the air and over at the area where they were going to battle. Presto was first though and quickly got in line, sticking his tongue out at the charmander. "Ok, one on one battle, two Pokemon each?" Abby said, cocking her head to the side, allowing the grumbling Pachirisu to climb on her head.

"All right then Scorch let's start this thing with a Growl."
Scorch turned to look back at his Trainer. A growl? Really! He sighed and Growled at the ghost Pokemon

Presto felt the effects of the attack almost immediately but it didn't apply too much on him luckily... A minor setback, this Shuppet wasn't giving up! Immediately, the Shuppet tossed back a Knock off attack!

Scorch let out a battle cry and charged forward swinging his arms with glowing claws at Presto. Alright! A really Attack!

Ouch... That one hurt! Presto really felt that claw attack and reeled back in pain, getting the brunt of the damage. However, he was not shaken off that easily, and floated back into the game, returning with another Knock Off attack!

Scorch jumped back with a flashy spin.
Cassie grinned maybe she could use that in a contest. "Ember Scorch!"

The barest of flames licked at the ruffles of Presto's body and he smiled, thinking that this could be a much better match for him now. With more eagerness than before, he pulled out another Knock Off move.

Both of them watched the pittiful ember attack land and do a pathically small amount of damage.
"Oh well try again Scorch!"

Abby and Presto sweatdropped as another failed Ember attack was launched, dealing minimal damage to Presto. Presto, seeing another opening for an attack, launched his only damaging move at the Charmander; Knock Off!

Scorch nearly wept at how bad his fire attacks were coming out. But he plucked himself up and scratched that Presto.

Dangit! Why did those Physical attacks work so well on Presto? Abby rooted for her weakened Pokemon as he got up, a bit of vigor still left in him. If he could just get out another good move on the Charmander, then this fight could be over!

Cassie returned her weakened Pokemon. "Well at least we learned something from this battle." she spoke to the ball sadly before the fight in her returned. "ARID!!!! Give Presto a taste of your Twineedle!"
The Skorupi landed onto he field and fired his attack.

Presto, although very weak, had a bit more fight left in him. Abby rooted for her little fighter and he smiled weakly, giving out probably his last attack of the battle... A nice Screech attack!

Abby returned her poor Shuppet, his victory becoming a defeat shortly after his first battle. Abby smiled at the ball though and re-released him over by the others so that he may relax a bit instead of being stuffed in the ball. Bolt however, immediately was off of Abby's head and bounced around a bit, eager to get things started and focused after a good battle by his teammate. Abby smiled and pointed at Arid, shouting, "All right Bolt! Lets win this thing!" Bolt let loose a Quick Attack, heading straight for the Skorupi.
