Skarmory crowed in laughter at the pitiful attack that brushed past him. Obviously the Honchkrow's anger was getting the better of her as he flew a bit lower so that he could hear his own trainer.
"Drill peck once more!" Crescendo called. Skarmory flew up and began to spin around, aiming for the angred Honchkrow.
[RESULT: Miss]
She quickly dodged out of the way, not even getting scraped by the attack.

Cici chortled right back, waggling her tail feathers and flying around the pokemon teasingly as his attack missed. Wendy frowned and shook her head. "Cici! Why do I have ta scold you on bragging and downing your opponent each battle?" The black bird sighed and shrugged. She never got to have any fun...
"Alright then. Try another Gust when you see a good chance, we've gotta end this soon!" This time, the Honchkrow took her rather seriously, knowing her words to be true. She dove in and out several times, quickly whipping around at one point to release the whirlwind on Skarmory's back. It hit, but not hard enough to do damage.

Skarmory blew the attack away and returned her tauntings with a caw, rising above her and flipping over, ready to deliver whatever attack his trainer commanded. Crescendo took a second to think it over before calling out to his pokemon.
"Swift!" He cried. Skarmory thrust his wings forward and shot multiple stars at Cici's back, determined to take her down.

...Well. All said and done, that quick? Both Wendy and Cici had to admit that they were just beginning to really feel the adrenaline kick in, but before they knew it, a massive flurry of stars was sent Cici's way, and the battle was over. The black bird knew as soon a she saw the amount what was going to happen, and somehow she avoided a completely annihilating attack, but still. The damage was done. Ironic that her last sight had to be stars, though... talk about cartoony puns. A revengeful cry was her only response as she plummeted away from the clouds, her exasperated trainer rushing out to withdraw her before it was too late.
"Cici is unable to battle! Crescendo and Skarmory are the victors!" Trevor announced, Screecher creeling at his side. What a fun battle to watch! Although Wendy felt defeated and she shook her head, she was proud to have had such an intense battle.
"You did well old girl, you deserve a good rest. And now... for the winner" she began, smiling as she approached Crescendo. "For defeating me in battle, I present you with the Float Badge, along with your choice of these two TMs!" After a moment she pulled them from her pocket, waiting for him to accept his prizes.
