Soteria had just left the Pokemon lab. Her new bag was around her shoulder and her Pokedex safely inside her pocket of her shorts. She made her first step on Route 801 with her Zorua and Electrike beside her. She thought it may be nice to leave her two partners out of their balls unless they wanted to go into them. When she got to the Victory Scarf she looked at it and then look at her two partners. She figured that the scarf my look nice on Grace but it will look better on Flash for now. She smiled softly and said, "Flash come here I would like to put this scarf on you for the time being okay." She knelt down to his level and waited for him to come closer before she put it around his neck. "My don't you look handsome with that on," she said softly smiling at her new friend. She then scratch him behind his mane and scratch Grace behind her ears. She was so happy to finally beginning her journey and to have two such wonderful Pokemon on her team.

As Soteria played with her pokemon soft music could be heard, growing clearer as time went on. Soon it was accompanied by the sounds of claws scratching dirt, and a Skarmory could be seen trotting along the road, it's trainer astride it's back playing a flute. The young man had a Snivy on his shoulder and his eyes were closed as he concentrated on the melody while his Skarmory walked, trusting the metal bird to take him in the right direction. Skarmory saw Soteria while it walked and tilted it's head curiously, walking towards her and stopping. The young man on his back paid little mind of this as he continued to play until the song ended, at which point he opened his eyes and looked down, smiling.
"Well hello there, is everything alright? Are you lost?" He asked, petting his Skarmory.
"Snivy?" Said the pokemon on his shoulder, curious as to what interrupted his private concert.
"If you wish, we can guide you to Gustella, if that is where you are headed." He offered, his pokemon nodding in agreement.

Soteria heard the sound of claws scratching the dirt which caused her to look up and look around curiously until she saw the Skarmory with a young man on it's back playing a flute with a Snivy on his shoulder. She listen to the beautiful sound the flute made and watch as the Skarmory came closer to her and stopped before he looked at her curiously. She gave a smile to the metal bird and continued to listen to the beautiful music from the flute until it stopped and the man said, "Well hello there, is everything alright? Are you lost?" She smiled as she watch him pet his Skarmory and said, "I don't believe I'm lost yet since I just started but it's nice to meet someone else. My name is Soteria Hunter." She then looked at the Snivy and gave a kind smile While Grace and Flash looked on curiously.
Grace liked seeing how the Snivy was on the young man's shoulder and she wanted to test it out herself, so she looked at Soteria before she gave a good jump and landed on her shoulder surprising Soteria into looking at her on her shoulder. After Soteria got over her surprise she smiled and gave Grace a gentle scratch behind the ears before she looked at the young man once more. Flash looked up at Grace wondering if he should do the same since it seem Soteria didn't mind it. "If you wish, we can guide you to Gustella, if that is where you are headed." Soteria thought about it and said, "I would like that but I would probably get some training in to."
Meanwhile, in a spot not too far from the others another young woman was walking beside her Ponyta Calista. Calista looked at her new trainer with a gentle look and nuzzled her before moving to offer her back to Kalonice in order to let her ride her for a bit. Kalonice got the message and got onto the Ponyta and they began to move once more until they came across two other people and their Pokemon. Kalonice even heard the girl give her name, Soteria.

Crescendo smiled warmly at the girl and turned to face the newcomer with mild curiosity, before clearing his throat.
"My name is Crescendo, and these are my dear friends. You both are welcome to travel with me if you wish." He said politely, still smiling. Skarmory chirped in agreement and kneeled down in front of Soteria while Crescendo held out a hand to her.
"Would you like a ride? It might be faster, and Skarmory will tell us when wild pokemon are getting close so we have time to prepare for them." He offered.

Soteria smiled shyly at the other female until she heard the young man say, "My name is Crescendo, and these are my dear friends. You both are welcome to travel with me if you wish." She then watched while the Skarmory knelt down in front of her and then Crescendo offered his hand to her saying, "Would you like a ride? It might be faster, and Skarmory will tell us when wild pokemon are getting close so we have time to prepare for them." Soteria took Crescendo's offered hand and said, "That sounds like a good idea and it's nice to meet you Crescendo." At that Moment Flash decided to give it a try and jumped onto Soteria's other shoulder, not wanting to feel left out at being so close to the breeder which caused Soteria to giggle softly and say, "And these two are Grace and Flash."
Kalonice smiled as she watched to two trainers before Calista, with her still on her back, walked up to the group and said, "It's nice to meet you both my name is Kalonice Veronica but you can call me Kalon for short." Calista gave a soft nigh which caused Kalon to smile and say, "And this is Calista."

Crescendo chuckled at the Electrike and Zorua and lightly tapped Skarmory with his heels, causing the bird pokemon to stand up straight and start moving. As it walked, careful to stay with Calista's speed, Skarmory slightly bobbed it's head, trying to find a comfortable position as Crescendo turned around, leaning his back against the outstretched neck so he could see his new companions.
"So, may I ask what it is you two have in mind for your journeys? I myself am a trainer, and I`ve gotten my first badge just the other day." He said, flashing the shiny feather of Gustella gym.

Soteria smiled softly as she gently moved Grace and Flash so they will be more comfortable while on her shoulders and answered Crescendo, "I'm on a journey to become a breeder." She then began to reach to pet Skarmory but stopped herself since she wasn't sure how he will react if she petted him.
Grace and Flash looked at their trainer curiously wondering what she was thinking though they both can take a guess and looked at the Skarmory to see if he won't mind Soteria petting him or not.
Kalonice listen as Crescendo and Soteria talked and answered Crescendo's question, "I'm beginning my journey as a trainer as well." She smiled as she watched Calista and Skarmory keep up with each other.

Crescendo nodded at them just as Skarmory stopped in it's tracks. Turning around, Crescendo saw three angry looking pokemon bristling their fur, and the trainer smiled, turning to his companions. "I believe it is time for battle." He said, pulling out a pokeball. "Come, Shroomish, I need your help." He called, tossing it. The small mushroom pokemon burst out of the ball, dancing in front of the skarmory while it waited for a command. "Shroomish!" It cried excitedly.  Gender: Female Level: 7 Ability: Limber Moves: Pound, Defense Curl, Foresight, Endure Hit Points: 15  Gender: Male Level: 8 Ability: Quick feet Moves: Tackle, Howl, Sand Attack, Sucker Punch Hit Points: 15  Gender: Male Level: 7 Ability: Pickup Moves: Tackle, Growl, Tail Whip, Pursuit Hit Points: 15 |

Soteria saw the three angry Pokemon but the one that caught her interest was the Poochyena. She figured she will beat it and hopefully it will follow her. Since it was a dark type Pokemon Soteria decided to use Flash instead of Grace. "Flash I'll use you in this battle boy okay. We'll be facing off against the Poochyena," Soteria said softly.
Flash nodded and jump down from Soteria's shoulder ready to do battle against the Poochyena. "Flash use Thunderwave on Poochyena," he heard Soteria call out and began to have blue electricity surrounding him as he got ready to use Thunderwave on the Poochyena.
[RESULT: 8]
Flash: 26/26
Poochyena: 0/15
Soteria saw as Flash sent the attack at the Poochyena succeeding in a critical hit. Growing concern for the Poochyena's welfare she went over to it so she could check on it. She gave the Poochyena a soft smile and asked him, "Would like to come with me Poochyena."
Meanwhile, Kalonice got off of her Ponyta and looked at the Buneary. The little Rabbit Pokemon caught her interest from the start so she figured she will go against her. "Calista lets try out a battle against the Buneary. Use Heat Wave on her," Kalonice said. Calista gave a nod of her own and began to have her flaming tail and mane heat up and grow bigger as she charge at the Buneary with the attack.

Crescendo smiled at Soteria when she jumped off skarmory to check on the poochyena she beat, but, not to be outdone, Crescendo raised his arm and stared at the zigzagoon with determination.
"Shroomish, Drain Punch please." He asked, and Shroomish glared at it's opponent, rushing towards it as the bud on it's head began to glow.
[RESULT: 1] Super-effective +1
The zigzagoon lived up to its name rather well, and effortlessly dodged almost the entire attack. It countered by charging right at Shroomish in a tackle attack.
[RESULT: Miss]
Shroomish was not going to have any of that though, and leapt up before the attack could connect, causing Crescendo's smile to get bigger.
"Great job Shroomish!" Crescendo yelled while the grass pokemon beamed. Buneary meanwhile glared at Calista and charged forward, ears raised for a pound attack.
[RESULT: 3]
Shroomish: 23/23
Calista: 24/27
Buneary: 11/15
Zigzagoon: 13/15

Once Soteria was sure the Poochyena was alright and that he agreed to joined her she looked at the other two as they battle. She may be able to learn something more when it comes to battles even though her goal is to become a great breeder. Grace and Flash also looked on the battle to see what will happen and how things will go.
Kalonice watched a Calista made a nice hit with her Heat Wave attack but she also gain damage from the Pound the Buneary sent her way. "That's alright Calista lets use a Tackle attack now. You did a great job with your last attack so keep it up girl," she said softly while she glance to see that Soteria had already won her battle and that Crescendo was off to a nice start in his battle. Calista nodded and charge in with a Tackle attack.
[RESULT: 9]
Calista: 24/27
Buneary: 2/15
Once Kalonice saw that the Buneary was weaken enough, in that last attack, she took one of her empty Pokeballs out of her waist bag and press the button to make it big enough to capture the Pokemon she toss it at the weaken Buneary and listen for the ball to ding, announcing she captured the little rabbit Pokemon. Afterwards she looked at the remaining battle between Zigzagoon and the Shroomish

Crescendo nodded approvingly at Kalonice's capture before he turned his attention back to the battle at hand. Clearing his throat, he looked at Shroomish with a smile.
"Drain Punch again please!" He called, and Shroomish eagerly responded by charging at the pokemon once more.
[RESULT: 9] Super Effective +1
The mushroom pokemon smashed into Zigzagoon, scoring a critical hit. The Zigzagoon shakily got to it's feet, but was determined not to be outdone by the grass pokemon. It charged towards her in another Tackle attack hoping to make a hit.
[RESULT: 5]
Shroomish dodged the attack, but she didn't dodge it well enough and the Zigzagoon got a decent hit in, but she was still in better shape than he was.
Shroomish: 18/23
Zigzagoon: 3/15

Soteria stayed near the Poochyena, gently picking him up, and going back over to Skarmory as she turned back around to watch Crescendo's battle. She had seen that Kalonice had captured the Buneary earlier so the Zigzagoon was the only wild Pokemon left on the field.
Flash and Grace stayed near her as they also watched the battle while she kept the Poochyena in her arms. She knew she will have to be sure he doesn't get hurt anymore then he already was but she will use a Potion on him so that he will be at good health.
Kalonice smiled as she watched Calista bent down to grabbed the Buneary's Pokeball in her mouth and brought it over to her. Once the ball was safely in Kalonice's hand the two of them turned to watch the battle as well.

Crescendo nodded to Soteria in greeting when she returned to him, helping her and her new pokemon back on top of the bird carefully before turning back to his battle.
"Shroomish, please finish this with Bullet Seed!" He commanded. Shroomish cried out in acknowledgement and took a deep breath, releasing it in the form on the grassy attack.
[RESULT: 7]
Shroomish: 18/23
Zigzagoon: 0/15
Zigzagoon yelped as the attack smashed into it, sending it into a tree. After sitting dazed for a moment the Zigzagoon snapped out of it and scurried away, not wanting anything more to do with this trainer OR his shroomish. The victorious pokemon, however, was jumping for joy at her victory and hopped over to Skarmory, who promptly stuck his foot under the shroomish and threw her into the air, with Crescendo catching her and hugging the pokemon tightly.
"Well done my friend. Why don't you take a well-earned rest?" He said, recalling her into the pokeball before returning his attention to his companions. "Shall we move on?" He asked, readjusting himself on Skarmory once again.

Soteria smiled softly when Crescendo helped her and her new Poochyena, who she decided to name Andreas, back up onto his Skarmory's back. She then watched as Crescendo finished his battle with the Zigzagoon with a Bullet Seed. She then watched with an amuse look as Skarmory used his talon to help the Shroomish to be in Crescendo's arms where she was congratulated and then returned to her ball. When he ask if they should move on Soteria said, "Yeah, lets continue. That battle was a nice experience to learn from." Grace and Flash, who were both once again on Soteria's shoulders, looked between the two of them as they spoke.
Kalonice had gotten back on Calista's back, when she offered it to her once again, and was riding beside the Skarmory as she said her agreement in continuing on there journey and how that battle was a good practice run for her. She even got a new friend in that battle as does it seem that Soteria did as well.
