"A battle?" she asked nervously. She shook her head to recover herself. "Oh no," she said. "Battling you and Riolu wouldn't show off his strength. Riolu clearly has a type advantage," she said, nodding as if to prove her point.

"He's a fighting Pokemon. They don't do any better or worse against electric Pokemon like Tynamo," Aldo pointed out with a sigh. "But if you're really that afraid of losing Rumblebuns, I guess there's nothing to do about it."

Skye's temper instantly flared. "Don't CALL me that!" she said. "Fine, if you want a battle, I'll battle you!" she added angrily. "Go Tynamo, time for our first battle," she said to her Pokemon. Tynamo stared at her. "Oh for Pete's sake!" she cried. "It's a battle! Stop staring at me! Stare at Riolu!" So Tynamo did just that.

"............ Ty," Tynamo sighed, then finally executed the move.

Natalie sight how had this happened? a stupid random battle. This is why she didn't like humans.She looked to her two Pokemon. "Return both of you. I don't want you getting hurt by a stray attack."
Both went in with out complaint. Natalie found a large rock and sat down to watch. Not like she could go with out them. The boy was the one who knew the way to the next town. One thing was for sure at the next town she was splitting from these two. All they seemed to do is bicker. How bothersome.

"Riolu, get ready," Aldo told the fighting Pokemon as Tynamo attacked him. "Now! Quick Attack!" he instructed as Riolu leaped at Tynamo, fist outstretched to strike the opponent.

"Retaliate with Tackle!" she called to Tynamo. That Quick Attack was a pretty hard hit and it worried her. Tynamo sighed again, then slammed itself into Riolu.

"Wait for it Rio," Aldo said as Tynamo charged at the small Pokemon. "There! Sky Uppercut!" he called out right when Tynamo crashed into Riolu, who immediately retaliated with an uppercut.

Skye was getting more and more worried now. Riolu was hitting a lot harder than Tynamo was.
"Tynamo, use Spark again!" she commanded.
[RESULT: 1]
The hit didn't look like it did much of anything at all. "Oh come on!" Skye said exasperated. "You have GOT to be kidding me!"

Skye recalled Tynamo to his Pokeball. She glared at Aldo. Damn his arrogance. "You got lucky," she said bitterly. Yes, that's all it was was luck. Skye was sure of it. "I'll get a rematch someday and show you."

"Come on. We should get him to the Pokemon Center," Aldo told Skye, ignoring what she said. "Gustella shouldn't be too far off and the sooner we get there, the sooner I can get my first badge," he added, turning to Natalie. "You coming?"
