Leonard had teleported in front of the Gym Leader's house, tapping on the door contently with his spoon. This spoon was so fun. Wow. Never knew something could be so funny to toy with. He'd bent and twisted it all he could. Sylvia ran up behind up, breathing heavily. She banged on the door, knowing that the spoon wouldn't be enough to get the gym leader's attention. She wondered just WHAT this test awaited for her. She stood up straight and pet her Kadabra. "I gotta get you a new spoon now, thanks."

Aquafina opened the door to see Sylvia and a Kadabra in front of the door. The water specialized gym leader smiled. "Hey, what can I do for you?" She asked the other female. A Floatzel who was inside the building dashed out quickly, he had a feeling he knew what this person might be here for and he had to get things ready.

Leonard came up to Aquafina and looked up at her, immediately walking back, obtaining another spoon. He had apparently deposited the old one in Aquafina's hand. "Leonard, bad boy. I'm sorry, he recently evolved and is anxious with... Things. Anyways, I am here for my riddle." Sylvia reached down and scratched her Kadabra's head, who immediately started making a sort of purring noise.

Aquafina laughed. "Ah, don't worry about it." She said. "Give me a second, I need to grab the silly scroll, and put my, uh, present up. Aquafina walked back inside, and grabbed the scroll that contained the riddle to the Torrentia Breeder Center. and went back to the door. "Alright, I found it." Aquafina opened up the scroll and began to read it's contents.
"Underneath you must seek That is where to go. This place is not for the meek It fills fire-types with woe.
Your guide is dragon-like and beautiful And may seem like a gigantic prick. But over this you shouldn't mull, For what else do you expect of a Milotic?"
After Aquafina finished reading the scroll, she rolled it back up. "Well, that's the riddle, good luck." Aquafina said before shutting the door.

Leonard had the right idea, he was already at the water's edge, staring at the field floating in the middle of the lake. Having such a smart little guy like him sure was useful. She looked down into it. "I'm not sure how well we could breath under there, AKA at all..." Leonard had climbed in and was attempting to look underwater, only to come up for breath. HIAaaasS went the Pokemon, shaking his head out. "I know boy, but maybe it would be better if we just TRIED." Sylvia looked down, she didn't know exactly what to expect from it. Leonard blinked and teleported away. "Leo?"

Storm, the Floatzel who had ran out when Sylvia and Leonard had arrived at Aquafina's house had returned and watched as Sylvia looked over by the water. Perfect! That was his chance! The Water weasel snuck up behind Sylvia and pushed her into the water, laughing and jumping in as well.
Once in the water, he gestured Sylvia to follow him and dove under the water.
Underneath the water, a Milotic swam up to her, handing over a underwater respirator, the Milotic was told there were two, a person and a Kadabra, so the Pokemon had brought two. Only the human seemed to be there however, so it only handed over one of the two, and held onto the other respirator.
Storm waved over to the Milotic and began to swim back to land, his job was done. Now it was the Milotic's turn to finish leading Sylvia to the breeding center.

Leonard teleported back, holding another, spoon, a shiny gold one. He immediately grabbed the other respirator and began swimming with Sylvia. Sylvia noticed the breeding center with glee and noticed it was in a bubble. She looked at the Milotic. It was so pretty. She wished she would have brought her Tympole, but she doesn't know what it might do if she brought him. Either way, she continued swimming until she arrived at the bubble, and fell in.

Becker smirked as she saw Sylvia. "Ah, I heard I was having some visitors drop in. "Welcome to the Deep Seas breeding center." As Becker welcomed Sylvia and Leonard to the center a Swanna wadded over and used it's large wings to dry off the two. Becker handed Sylvia a wet suit. "You might need this." Becker walked over to the edge of the bubble and stuck her head into the bubble. "SQUAD 42, FRONT AND CENTER!" Suddenly, 5 Pokemon broke out of the reefs and made their way to the bubble. "By now you should know that a proper breeder should be able to recognize a Pokemon by its egg in order to know how to care for it. A proper breeder should also be able to take command of a new Pokemon whom you've had no prior contact with. It's important not only for raising newborns, but also for when you need to take in Pokemon that need a home, whether they think they do or not." She explained, shedding her clothing until only her bathing suit remained. Shaking herself to crack her joints, she leaned against Milotic and smiled at Sylvia. "This test will determine how well you can adapt yourself to new Pokemon and garner their respect. You must choose one of these Pokemon, and you will ride and/or hold onto them and race me and Milotic. We will do one lap around the lake. To pass, you must beat me in this race. You may command your steed to attack me and Milotic to try and slow us down, but you must also try and guard yourselves from our attacks if you get too close. So, which do you choose? Pick carefully." She finished, moving out of the way of the 5 Pokemon who waited to be chosen. | | | | | Speed: 8 Bulk: 3 Endurance: 6 Maneuverability: 7 Strike: 7 Guard: 5 | Speed: 9 Bulk: 3 Endurance: 4 Maneuverability: 9 Strike: 6 Guard: 10 | Speed: 4 Bulk: 7 Endurance: 9 Maneuverability: 5 Strike: 7 Guard: 7 | Speed: 8 Bulk: 5 Endurance: 10 Maneuverability: 10 Strike: 8 Guard: 1 | Speed: 6 Bulk: 4 Endurance: 8 Maneuverability: 5 Strike: 9 Guard: 3 |

Sylvia looked immediately and knew, she walked over and pet the Gorebyss, putting the respirator on and jumped in, mounting the water Pokemon. She pointed at Leo and put her finger down, telling him to stay there. Leo had other ideas, though. He put his own respirator on and began toying with the other Pokemon that were not chosen.

The other Pokemon blinked, unsure about the Kadabra, in the end they decided to leave and go back to where they came from. "Not bad, good choices. Now then, we're gonna head out of the dome here and swim to the starting line of the lake. It's marked, so no worries. We'll start from there and make one full lap around the lake. The first one back to the starting line wins. During that time, you may attack me and Milotic, but we can also attack you. In order to win my egg, you must beat me in this race. Now, let's go." She said, diving into the water with Milotic not far behind. Gorebyss lead Sylvia to the starting line. The starting line was comprised of four clamperl side by side, with one being a royal purple. Milotic and Gorebyss settled behind the clamperl as Becker swung a leg over her Milotic's neck, grabbing the two antennae like reins. Turning to her challenger, she spoke through her respirator. "This is our line AND our buzzer. One by one, the clamperl will close, and when the shiny one closes, we take off. We are going to be followed by remoraid the entire time, but don't worry, they are wearing cameras, and are simply broadcasting the race to the rest of the city. Be sure to put on a good show for them. Now then, let's get ready. Mount your pokemon." She said as she adjusted herself on Milotic. Apparently Leonard was there as well, when Sylvia had grabbed the single antenna fin thing, he had teleported on, wrapping his arms around Sylvia. Hopefully he won't fall off. He didn't have his spoon. Where did that thing go? Whatever. She adjusted herself and got into a more straight position, looking straight forward.

As Becker got prepared for the race, a swarm of aquatic Pokemon approached, each of them trying to catch the best view of the racers. Soon after, the Clamperl began to open, although the first one closed almost immediately after. As the second and third closed, Becker braced herself for the race, clutching Milotic's antenna just as the final, shiny Clamperl closed itself and the two were off.

Sylvia commanded the Gorebyss to go, but apparently it's tail was stuck on a rock. It got it out, but not before the two were way ahead.

Seeing as Becker and Milotic were pretty far ahead, they decided to slow down a little, saving their energy for when they would need it more.

The Gorebyss was done, it went at a slow speed to start. Oh. It was Leonard. He immediately jumped off. The two were still pretty far ahead anyways.
