Eggful Journey Into The Unknown

Anima watched as the Feebas was getting weaker fast, if she was not careful with this next move, she could lose her chance of making friends with the rare Pokemon. "Cenric, we have to be careful with this next attack. Lets just use a water gun."

[RESULT: 4] -1 =3

Cenric was able to lower his attack enough to not defeat the small water type, lowering it just enough to were anima knew she could get close to the Pokemon easily. She knelt down to the fish.

"We do not have to fight my friend. I see your potential, you could do well with my team. Would you like to join us?"

The Surskit continued to struggle in the Dratini's grip as it continued to squeeze him like a grape, he couldn't give up yet, however. Taking in another deep breath the Surskit attacked again with another Bubble attack.

[RESULT: 4] -1 =3

The attack was not strong, like the last attack, however it was all the small aquatic bug could do.

[Kerum Kosha]

The bubble attack was starting to get on Rainey's nerves as she took the force of the attack having nowhere to go being wrapped up but she continued to squeeze one last time in hopes of dealing massive damage.

[RESULT: 1] +2

The attack didn't do much damage at all as she let go of the water pokemon and slithered out of striking distance. She would have to hope her dragon powers were going to work this time.

[Spirit]

Finally free from the painful wrap attack the Surskit squeaked out his battle cry. He was free! Free to attack and show that snake that releasing the bug was not a good idea. He tackled the Dratini quickly using his quick attack in hopes that the attack will show just how ready the Surskit was for finishing this battle.

[RESULT: 1]

However despite the Surskit's ego and quick movements, the attack had done little to Rainey, being that Surskit was not really the most heavily built Pokemon.

[Kerum Kosha]

The attack did very little damage to Rainey who boucnced back a bit from the attack but otherwise nothing serious. "Alright Rain, use your famous Dragonbreath." Kerum stated hoping it had been recharged enough while she was wrapping the other pokemon. Her mouth blazed to life as she shot out the powerful attack.

[RESULT: 3]

The move worked but didn't do much in terms of damage. Rainey was not have a good day and Kerum felt bad for her, but she was not one to give up ever.

[Spirit]

The Surskit laughed at Rainey as the attack couldn't even do enough to take him out, however now shouldn't have been to time for laughing, the sirskit was on his last pair of legs from this battle and if he couldn't take out the Dratini now, odds would not be in his favor with surviving past another attack. Backing up a little, the Surskit attacked again with another quick attack.

[RESULT: 0]

Despite the Surskit's best try, his attack still failed to penetrate Rainey's defenses very well.

[Kerum Kosha]

The calm composure that Rainey kept so well unraveled at the sight of the other pokemon laughing at her, her eyes seemed to glow even in the day light as she took a deep breath preparing for another blast of Dragonbreath.

[RESULT: 9]

The breath move that came out was larger and more powerful then anything Kerum had seen before as it literally slammed into the water pokemon and tossed it into the water. Rainey's eyes stopped glowing as she slithered back to the egg case satisfied.

[Spirit]

With the battle between Rainey and Surskit ending and the Feebas thinking over Anima's offer the two breeders decided to fish one last time before going to the Pokemon center for a quick rest. There was not much need for fishing however they had to do something while the Feebas would going over her options and what better then to see what else can be found within the river? So there they sat, waiting for something to happen.

[Aldo512]

For a long while, Feebas didn't react to the offer. Not because she wasn't interested, but because her mind had started to wander at some point. When she snapped back to normal, she decided that she would go with Anima. Anyone who could appreciate her beauty was obviously worthy of traveling with her.

As the two breeders fished, two more water Pokemon approached them and took hold of the fishing lines.

[Kerum Kosha]

Kerum yelled in surprise as the line was pulled as he yanked it hard out came a redish orange fish and slammed straight into his face before flopping around knocking over the egg case but Rainey quickly got under it making sure it didn't fall. Ekan's scurried to the otherside of Kerum cowering from the giant fish hoping around on the ground. "Alright Nato's I want this pokemon so get in there and get it for me." He stated as he heard another splash behind him, Anima must have caught another one.

Nato's was hesitant but its loyal nature kicked in and it slithered out eyeing the fish. "Get in there with a wrap." Kerum stated he wasn't about to use poison sting.

[RESULT: 9]

The snake hesitated again but eyeing Rainey who he had just started to become infatuated with couldn't be a coward and rushed in and quickly wrapped around the fish essentially capturing it. "Alright Magikarp, I can let you go if you decide to come with me. I would really enjoy your company little buddy." Kerum stated walking over to the fish.

[Anima Everhart]

Anima smiled as the Feebas agreed to join her, however being a fish would be different, the Pokemon would not be the best on land and since there was no ball for her to go into, the Feebas would not be able to get everywhere very easily, however figuring out a way to move around with a fish will have to wait for later. For now Anima and her new Pokemon, Crystal, would just sit, fish and enjoy nature.

Suddenly there was a splash as Kerum caught another fish, turning her head to see what he caught, Anima almost laughed at the sight as Kerum got smacked by the Magikarp but was able to maintain herself. As Kerum ran to battle the fish with his Ekans, Anima's Rod caught something as well. Anima Pulled out the Pokemon revealing a curious looking Pokemon, this six legged living lily-pad stared curious yet ready for a battle.

Cenric was still good for battle, he had taken little damage and thus was still readily awaiting for his commands. "Alright, Cenric, you can handle this one, Use your Tackle attack!"

[RESULT: 2]

The Lotad was easily able to handle the attack with out any worry, taking little damage from Cenric's attack.

[Kerum Kosha]

The little lily pad took the brunt of the attack but wasn't hurt much it just stared down Cenric and smiled as it jumped up letting loose leafs into the air before sending the flying towards Cenric using a razor leaf attack.

[RESULT: 6] +1

The attack was super effective as the leafs slammed in and around the little pokemon. The lilipad landed and smugly smiled as if it was excited to be badly such a pokemon.

[Anima Everhart]

'Hm...That's right, Lotad know grass moves as well...'Anima thought to herself as she realized her mistake. No matter though, Anima and Cenric would not give up from this battle from a mere type disadvantage! "Cenric, Use your night shade attack!" Anima called out to her Pokemon. Cenric pulled out his shell, which had grown dark with energy and attacked swiftly at the Lotad.

[RESULT: 5]

The attack defiantly did a lot better than his tackle attack, however Cenric knew he would need to step it up if he was to survive this battle very easily.

[Kerum Kosha]

The slash hit the lilypad but most of the damage hit the top of its head where it was relatively protected, this wasn't going to be a easy fight, it liked that. It sent up more leafs that honed in on the little water pokemon.

[RESULT: 2] +1 type disadvantage

It seemed that Cenric had been ready and dodged most of the leafts. With a huff the Lilypad got back into defensive positions.

[Anima Everhart]

Cenric managed to dodge most of the leaves, however he was unable to dodge every single one, tacking damage from a few of the ones he could not get out of the way from. This battle alone had done a lot to the Powerful Pokemon and the fact that he was at a type disadvantage was beginning to be a problem and the match had only barely begun. This would not do, not at all.

"Don't give up, Cenric, keep attacking!" Cenric nodded at Anima's words and attacked the Lotad again with his Night Slash attack.

[RESULT: 3]

The slash was able to yet again hit the Lotad, but still not enough to claim victory for his side.

[Kerum Kosha]

The lotoad was getting angry one that its grass move was not taking down the water pokemon and two cause it was getting slapped around so it used astonish instead.

[RESULT: 6]

IT did a decent amount of damage to the otter but sadly it was not enough to cause it to faint or even flinch so the Lotoad glared instead.
