Eggful Journey Into The Unknown

Cenric almost went down from that attack, but he continued to stand tall, his shell seemed to have lost most of its dark powers from the wariness he was feeling, but he couldn't give up, he had to protect his friends. Suddenly one of Anima's Pokeballs opened on its own. "Gla! Glaceon!" Kari called out from the sidelines, cheering for her friend.

[RESULT: 5]

The cry from his friend was enough to strengthen Cenric up a little more, charging one last time with his shell, managing to take down the Lotad with the last of his strength.

Magikarp stared up at Kerum curiously. Something in the back of his mind told him he was supposed to be doing something, but now he couldn't remember what it was. Maybe those humans could help? Only now he couldn't remember what he needed help with. Or where the humans had come from...Hey look, humans! He could follow them!

Kerum just watched the multitude of facial expressions the fish made. "I think he has the memory of a goldfish." Kerum stated a bit sadly but picked him up after stashing his egg in his bag. He would have to be extra careful not to break it. "Well lets go get you healed up little guy." Kerum stated as he used his free hand to call Nato's and Rainey back into their balls. Sen was smashed under the egg but his seed head didn't bother much as he was still sleeping.

"Well we got a matching pair." Kerum stated to Anima as he looked at her Feebas, he didn't know much about them but remembered them being the opposite of Magikarp which was one of his favorite pokemon. "Lets go get back to town." Kerum stated with a smile.

Farther down the path, two Doduo lay in a heap. Neither of them had eaten for hours and they were both starting to get hungry. They barely even had the energy to peck at each other. One of them, lifting a head to the air, smelled the scent of food nearby and roused her friend up, running to get something to eat as quickly as she could.

Anima looked at the Magikarp and the Feebas, the two Pokemon were in fact known to be quite the pair. "It seems your right, and I couldn't worry about the memory, that can be remedied over time." And so, the duo started walking ahead so that they could heal their Pokemon. Anima had also put her egg inside her bag so that she could hold on to Crystal, while putting the egg up, Anima also puts out a couple snacks and handed one to Kerum. "Want one?" She asked offering the food before standing again. She called back Cenric and Damon, however kept Kari outside in case anything else decided to show up.

Just like Anima predicted, suddenly jumping out of no where, a Doduo charged quickly followed by another closely behind. Upon seeing the food, the two birds attacked, hoping they could steal the food from the trainers.Kari got in front of the second Doduo that appeared and barked joyfully, she got to battle, how exciting.~

"Alright Kari, use Tail whip!"

Kari wagged her tail at the male Doduo, as expected the attack caught the Doduo off guard, lowering its defense a little

[Kerum Kosha]

Kerum almost cursed at there luck, he only had Natos we could fight and hated putting him against a pokemon. "Alright Nato's lets go do this." He stated tossing out the pokeball. The purple snake appeared and immediatly ran from the battle behind Kerum. Bending down he looked the snake in the eyes. "Bud, everyone else is out of commision its up to you." He hissed uncertainly but headed into battle anyways.

"Alright Nato's use a wrap, that should help keep that pokemon in check." The snake complied hurring up to wrap it but shaking the entire time from fear.

Kerum was estatic at how well the wrap worked and gave Nato's a thumbs up and he smiled his tongue flicking out pleased with himself but he was still frightened.

The doduo was not going to let this pokemon get the best of him as he let out a loud growl to try and remedy his lowered defenses.

It worked decently lowering Kari's attack by one point.

Anima frowned, this Pokemon knew strategy and she lost her advantage in the defense department from that growl. Smart bird. Anima thought about what she could use now. Helping hand was useless for this type of battle and Synchronoise should only work with other ice types, that only left tackle as her last choice.

"Well then Kari, looks like this is now a battle of who can knock the other down first, lets show this Pokemon the power of an Ice type! Use your Tackle attack!"

[RESULT: 8]

Kari wagged excitedly before dashing out to the Doduo with great speed and power, dealing good damage even without the lost defensive advantage.

The Female Doduo struggled against Nato's grip, she couldn't break free from the wrap's grip as it held her in place. All she could do was squirm within the snake's hold for now... But who's to say if she can get out of this mess. All she wanted was some food, such mean people.

[RESULT: 6] (don't ask about the random roll, I felt like it.)

Kerum was happy to see Nato's become such a powerful pokemon it was ironic that he was so afraid of everything but was so powerful. "Alright Nato's lets hit him with another squeeze." Kerum stated watching his magikarp become confused as its memory refreshed itself.

The damage was enough to faint the poor little bird, Kerum felt sorry for it, all it wanted was some food. Nato's uncoiled and slithered back to his owner and slithered up onto his shoulder and perched his blue scarf sticking out. Kerum walked over and picked up the bird walking to a nearby tree and placing it near the truck before going to watch Anima.

The tackle slammed into the starving pokemon its lack of food had made it slow and unable to defend itself. Falling to the ground it go up and tried to use a quick attack.

The attack at least made contact but the feeble bird didn't do much damage at all.

The Doduo attacked swiftly, however the quick attack did not do too much damage to Kari, thankfully. Kari brushed off the attack and happily pranced around as she waited for her next command. "Kari, use another Tackle attack!" Anima called out to her Pokemon whom began charging towards the Doduo again for another attack.

[RESULT: 1]

The attack was more playful then anything as Kari did not do too much damage to the Doduo, nothing more than a playful tackle as if it was simply a game.

The little bird was getting even more angry with this pokemon playing with him. He tried to use another quick attack putting a bit more energy behind it then the first time.

The playfulness of Kari caused the little bird to dig deep into a reserve of energy it didn't even know it had and vanished appearing in front of her and slamming her hard in the face. But you could tell the effort was great as exhaustion quickly came over the bird.

It was obvious that the powerful hit did not suit Kari too well. She was always a happy Pokemon so it was rare to see her anything other than happy, but that attack seemed to have thrown her outside of her playful, happy place. She suddenly attacked with great speed at the Doduo attacking with a powerful tackle attack!

[RESULT: 9]

The attack slammed hard, leaving the Doduo breathless from the attack, with that. The Doduo went down.

Following Kerum's Example Anima also brought the Doduo she battled over to the tree, Kari following behind happily once again. After setting down the Doduo next to the other Anima reached in her bag and pulled out the egg, setting it aside so she could get to some Poke' Food and four bowls. One for each head. She poured some food into each bowl and handed two to Kerum.

"I think they attacked us cause they were hungry. The seem rather thin to me." Anima stated looking at the birds. "Lets wake them up and give them some food before we leave, it doesn't seem right to leave them starving like this.

Anima woke up the male, leaving the Female to be tended by Kerum, and gave the two-headed bird the Poke'food. He seemed to like it and after a short while of eating, was full yet again.

Kerum nodded and took the bowl and set his bag down so that it wasn't bothersome, laying the food down he woke up the little bird who got ready to attack but saw Nato's on his shoulder and decided not to. She then saw the food and devoured the first bowl, Kerum kept the second and when she was done spoke calmly, "Save this do not eat it right now so you can have it for later." he stated putting it down. The bird nodded with one head the other tried to eat the bowl but was headbutted.

Kerum laughed at the sight and turned as he heard something fall, Sen had smelled the food and rolled out of the bag but at the same time knocked over the bag and spilled the box with the egg in it. The case opened which seemed dumb to have a case that could open so easily and the egg rolled out. Quickly Kerum rushed over and snatched it up and was about to cry when he saw cracks in it.

"Anima... Anima..." he almost cried looking at it. "I think I just broke my egg." He stated staring down at the green leafed egg. For being a breeder he had never before seen a egg hatch which sounded silly.

Anima looked at the cracks at the egg before quickly going to her egg, a couple cracks were forming on her's as well! "Kerum, I don't know if they might be from the carelessness or them being able to hatch, mines has cracks as well! Our eggs may be close to hatching!" Anima stated quickly taking her egg out of the container to check the egg more thoroughly.

As the two Doduo left the breeder duo, the eggs began to shake and glow, the cracks along them growing and spreading along the egg. At last, two loud cracks were heard and leaving two Pokemon behind. The first was a large dinosaur-like Pokemon with two leafs sprouting from his back. Looking around timidly, he ran towards Kerum, only to trip over his large feet and fall onto his stomach. The second of the two looked over at Anima irritably, her yellow eyes analyzing the breeder as though searching for some hidden quality. Before long, she got tired of doing that and decided to approach Anima, leaping over the fallen Tropius as she did.

The shine that came from the egg was surprising as he almost dropped it but instead placed it on the ground and moved back to give whatever was inside room to appear out of it. He smiled widely at the grass pokemon as it emerged and saw the metal bird as well. Both were amazing pokemon.

Kerum rushed toward the baby pokemon and dodged around the skamory who jumped over the grass pokemon and helped it to its feet. "Its ok little one, everything will be just fine." Great, now i have two cowardly pokemon. Kerum though to himself as he helped it over to the box and grabbed the cherish ball and tossed it at his body sucking him into the pokeball. After it sealed he released him again and pat him on the head. "There there Razor everything will be fine."
