Well, that left the Slowpoke for Lee. Grovyle stepped forward to battle him, but the Slowpoke seemed pretty disinterested. Either that or he was really oblivious to the fact that he was in the middle of a battle. He looked around lazily left to right before finally settling his lazy eyes on Grovyle. "Slow?" he questioned.
"Duke, Absorb." Lee commanded. Grovyle went at Slowpoke and used Absorb. "Grovyle!" he gave his battle cry as he gave the first attack.
[RESULT: 7] +1
The Ducklett didn't seem overly pleased by being attacked so suddenly. Their new play partner, the Totodile, was gone now. Too bad, because they enjoyed inviting newcomers to play tag. Larvesta wanted to play too rough. Ducklett used Water Gun.

Irritated that Psyduck had decided to fight back instead of just going away, Keima used Quick Attack and launched himself at the Water Pokemon.

Slowpoke looked over at the Grovyle that had attacked him. Than at the ground. Than the lake and back to the Grovyle. He was supposed to be doing something right now, wasn't he? Something that felt important. Deciding to ignore that urge, he leaped at Grovyle to play, using Zen Headbutt.

Mikhail grimaced. He needed to hit hard, and he needed to hit now. He asked Larvesta to perform the same attack again, hoping he had better luck.

Psyduck was sent flying back, little tears forming in her eyes as she attempted to get back up. So... tired! The poor thing wobbled over and tried another Scratch.

Duke stumbled backwards. The Pokemon was now flat on his back, having taken a pretty good hit from that bothersome Slowpoke. "Gro...vyle..." he managed to get out as he rubbed his head. Oh he'd have a headache after this was over. He just knew it. Lee ran over and gave him a berry, hoping that'd help.
Meanwhile Ducklett was getting a bit irritated at the bothersome bug constantly coming at her. She used Water Gun again to try and shoo it away.

Getting even more irritated at Psyduck continuing to fight back against him, Keima decided to try and end it with Night Slash.

Going over to his new friend curiously, Slowpoke tilted his head slightly to see why he wouldn't get up. Trying to help, he fired off with Water Gun to try and help him.

Mikhail clenched his fists, but was relieved to see that Larvesta shook off the Water Gun better than last time. Before he could point to the Ducklett again, the fire bug turned and looked at his trainer with large, puppy-dog eyes.
"Laaaaaarrrve?" Pleeeeeeeease?
The teen threw his head back and groaned. He could barely handle two pokemon... and now this one wanted someone else to join their team? He looked down to Snubbull for a read on the situation, and the doggish pokemon shrugged and looked away. ...Bother. Fine, then.
"Zen Headbutt, and make it count!"
[RESULT: 8]
There was his chance! Quickly, Mik dug through his bag and whipped out an empty pokeball, tossing it at the Ducklett and waiting for the successful ping to sound. One... two...! Hah! The rest was history. It was successful.

Duke slowly got back up. The Water Gun was just annoying and did no damage at all. Though it did wake Duke up and stir him back into battle. "Use Absorb, Duke!" Lee called out.

But Grovyle was still groggy from that headbutt. He didn't do anything at all to it.

That last Water Gun certainly hit the mark. Duke felt that one. "Okay, let's try Absorb again" Lee called out, hoping Grovyle was steady enough to go on the offensive again.

Grovyle was certainly prepared this time. Feeling embarrassed from how that Slowpoke got the better of him, he unleashed a powerful Absorb attack.

"Good job Keima," Akira said, tossing her Zangoose a piece of food that he opened his mouth and caught before going back to the river. "Alright, now we can get going before..." she started, but trailed off from ending. Last time she'd said it, they'd gotten attacked and she had no plan to attract more wild Pokemon again.

Despite his panting, Larvesta shot himself into the air via flames from his horns, doing his typical buggy buzz thing while spinning around lazily over the capture of his new 'friend'. Snubbull merely yawned and waved his paw, signaling to another group of randomly appeared pokemon.
"Aw great. Jinxed us again, Akira. Now we'll never get out of here..." the trainer groaned, rubbing his temples. "Eh, but who am I kidding. I know my pokemon need training. Larvesta, 'ol buddy 'ol pal~" he called, plucking a berry from his bag as he snapped Ducklett's pokeball onto his waist. "Catch." The bug screeched and latched onto the oran berry, swallowing it whole as more tears formed in his eyes. His trainer... was so kind! "Now, go fight one of those buggers, please? You'll need to level up a bit more before we challenge any Gyms." Oh, that's how it was? Fine. The pokemon rolled his eyes and waited for the others to pick opponents first. Wooper and Spearow were on land, and Magikarp... well. Obviously it was in the water, flopping around.

Lee could only grin as more Pokemon appeared. He glanced over to Mik who said his pokemon needed more training anyway. "That's the spirit. My thoughts exactly" he said. He then turned his attention to Duke, who was now eyeing the Wooper He was already ready for battle? That was good. Duke was certainly a fighter. "Duke, target that Wooper with Absorb" Lee commanded.
Duke nodded his head and targeted Wooper with Absorb. The dual water and ground type would certainly feel this one if it was a decent enough hit.

"Not again!" Akira shouted as she was chased by the wild Spearow, tossing one of her Pokeballs out to let Sumire out to fight. Of course, that just ended in her having TWO birds chasing her instead of one. Noticing the fellow Flying-type and thinking she was trying to get feed as well, Sumire decided to peck at her opponent to make sure she didn't take her food.

That left Magikarp for them, then. Larvesta puffed up and squealed in a victorious manner. Hah, too easy! Before his trainer could say anything, the bug decided to stroll over to the waterside and fire off an Ember at the poor fish, laughing as he did so. Cruel much?
[RESULT: 2] -1
Meanwhile, the Spearow became enraged at how judgemental the other bird was upon first meeting her. Why, she never! Just for that, she lashed her talons out to grab hold of Sumire, using a Fury Attack with her beak.
