Yes yes yes! Natalie chanted in her head as sewaddle managed to roll out fo the way and come away almost completle unscathed.. they might be able to win this they just needed one good attack.
"Go for it Sewaddle!"
Sewaddle sent off another blast of Silver Wind.

Will waved her apology off s he returned Trick to rest in his Pokeball. "Don't worry about it. You win some you loose others. and who knows this might make him a more serious battler."
Will settled down on the grass. " So how about lunch now?" he asked as he spread out some cooking supplies and released Zealot. "Darling I'm going to teach you how to help me cook." He set out a small steel foldaway box and set it up and set a small pot on top. He tossed in water and seasoning and chopped up some jerky and fruit he had picked off some trees.
"Zea I need you to keep a low level Flame Burst at the bottom of the pot. Can you do that?"
The Torchic nodded and breathed out the flame burst. Under Will's watchful eye they modified it to the correct temperature.

With wide eyes Natalie watched as Will haphazardly tossed in ingredients and directed his Torchic. "What are you making?"
None of the things he tossed in was recognizable to her. Yeah this was a foreign region and it made scene that she wouldn't know what the fruit was but... Was that even going to be edible?
Still she settled down in the grass. It had been a really really long time since someone had cooked her a home made meal... well trail meal. Wait where was the Drifloon? Was it still hurt?
She spotted it still where she had placed it to rest and went over.

Aldo kicked at a rock in the path with a sigh, Mudkip chasing after it cheerfully to bring it back. "Mud!" I got it! he called happily before tripping over his feet and falling.
"I've told you not to run without watching where you're going. Be more careful next time," Aldo told the Pokemon as the small mud fish got back on his feet and began to run off again. Chasing after him, Aldo saw that Mudkip was heading for a small group of two people, one of them being one of the girls he'd met on Route 801. "May as well introduce myself," Aldo said once he'd managed to get a hold on Mudkip.

Will noticed to commotion that a Boy and his Mudkip were causing at watched with amusement as he answered Natalie's question and kept an eye on the food. "This dish doesn't have a name. I guess you could call it Pot Luck. But my sister likes it."
He stirred the soup and tossed a bit of fruit to Libra.
As the boy came closer he waved him over. "Take a seat and stay a while. We are just about to have lunch."
Libra looked over at his trainer in shock. It was usually him that had to encourage a person to come over and talk. He looked at the Mudkip and trotted over "Deerling?" want to play?

Natalie watched the little Pokemon fall asleep contently in her arms. Well this was... odd. what was she going to do with it now? She tilted her head as he slept. well she guessed she could keep it with her until it was healthy enough to take care of itself once again.
She returned to Will as the smell of his cooking started to become tempting. "You have a sister? What is she like?"
when he didn't answer immediate she followed his gaze to the boy. wasn't that.... what was his name? again... Alvin Alder Aldo. Ah ha that was it, Aldo.
"fancy meeting you again." she greeted.

"Pretty interesting coincidence for sure," Aldo said with a smile as he sat down with the two of them, placing Mudkip back on the ground as he did. At the Deerling's question, Mudkip turned to his trainer hopefully. "You can go. Just don't go doing anything that'll cause problems, okay?"
"Mudkip!" Yay! the mud fish Pokemon cheered happily, dancing from one foot to another.

"Okay Zea we're done." Zealot cut off her fire attack and fell back with a sigh. Will dug out paper bowls and dished out the food to the humans. Then he pulled out a bag of Poke food and scraped the pot clean on top of the food.
He released Trooper and Paladin to eat. "So you two have met before? How so?"
He whistled to Libra who was playing with the Mudkip. "Chow time guys."

Natalie took her bowl and sniffed it tentatively and took a sip. It was a very interesting mix of flavors. But somehow they seemed to complement each other.
"We met on 801 and traveled to Gustella together then parted ways. nothing too interesting."
"So..." Natalie turned her attention to Aldo, "How is your Riolu? Do you have any new Pokemon?"

"Other than Mudkip? Not yet," Aldo said, reaching for his other pokeball with his free hand and releasing Riolu, who immediately went to go eat with Mudkip and the rest of the Pokemon. "By the way, if you don't mind me asking, who are you? Not many people would be so open with a complete stranger," Aldo asked the trainer who had cooked for them.

"William Gilbert of Tornadra." will answer. "Or just plain old Will. That's Libra Trooper Paladin and Zealot." He pointed to each of his Pokemon respectively. "There is also Trick but he is resting."
"And I'm not normally but food put's me in a good mood." He dug into his own food as he waited for an answer.
Libra paused in his eating long enough to smile at the new arrivals, Zealot, Paladin, and Trooper just stared at them before returning to eat.
"So what are you? Trainer, Breeder, Coordinator?"

"He's a trainer." Natalie answered for him as she finnished her meal. She set the bowl down and flopped back in the grass with Drifloon lying on her stomach. She adjusted her sunglasses a bit and got comfortable.
After releasing a content sigh she announced, "I'm going to take a nap. Let me know when you leave."
Sewaddle curled up by her neck and Trapinch nudged his way under her arm. They were out in a matter of seconds.

What about you?" he asked Will as he continued eating, trying to keep an eye on his Pokemon in case anything happened. Even if it was unlikely, he already knew that Mudkip was excitable and clumsy enough to have something happen to him.

Will shrugged. "I'm doing decently. I just got my first badge and nearly a full team but they need more training." He munched on the last bit of his meal as he thought out his next statement.
"Though I'm not in any major hurry so I'm just taking it easy and getting to know my team and looking for a water Pokemon to finish off my team. though like I said, no rush."
"How about you?"
