It had been instinct that knocked the little fire mouse into his team mate, rather than an order from his trainer, but the girl was well pleased with his actions. She gave a small whoop of appreciation, clapping her hands together at his quick thinking. Despite the leer attack that had sent him to shuddering, he had acted quickly and managed to take little damage while saving Reso quite a bit.
"Good boy, Kale! Let's show that bulbasaur he can't mess with our friends, ne?"
His fire flared as he squeaked his war cry, dashing forward.

Bulbasaur was sent tumbling again as Kale crashed into him, and struggled to get on his feet. His trainer put a hand to his mouth and yelped for the pokemon. The grass pokemon managed to stand up and shake himself off, giving a determined growling sound.
"Tackle it Bulby!" The trainer cried as Bulbasaur ran forward.
[RESULT: 0] +2
The attack barely made a dent on Kale as he raised his paws and held the bulb pokemon in place. The twin trainers giggled as the little girl turned to her Natu.
"Gotcha right where I want ya, Psywave Na--"
"Oh no you don't, Reso, get rid of Natu with Echoed Voice!" Celeste called, interrupting the trainer's command. Reso took in a deep breath once more and screamed at Natu, putting everything he had into protecting his friend the same way he protected Reso.
[RESULT: 9]
With the angle and intensity of Reso's attack, he managed to knock Bulbasaur out of Kale's grip into Natu. Both pokemon went flying back unconscious. Their trainers rushed over to them and started sniffling, crying over their hurt pokemon. Celeste scratched the back of her head awkwardly and walked over to the twins, rummaging through her bag with Pendra's help. Reso quietly followed as she handed two Oran berries to the trainers.
"I think we overdid it a bit. I`m very sorry about that. It was a great battle." She said, feeding the berries to the injured pokemon who instantly felt better. The trainers squealed and grabbed their pokemon hugging them and looking up at Lesa and Celeste.
"Thank you nice ladies! We had lots of fun!" Said the boy.
"We're done now, we don't want our pokemon getting hurt again. Let's go to the playgwound!" Said the sister as they ran off with their pokemon and laughing as if nothing happened. Celeste sweatdropped and looked to Lesa awkwardly.
"Well, that was weird. Hey, I kinda feel bad for picking on little kids, and it's getting dark. Let's go see if Nurse Joy will still give us that free room?" She offered to Lesa and Sawyer, standing up and recalling Reso. He'd done well, but he needed to rest. praise would come later.
