Roha walked briskly out of the forest and into Gustella Town. His newly acquired Murkrow was on his shoulder, and a devious looking Piplup toddled behind him. It was a bit late in the day, but they had finally made it.

Wilford got to rummaging through Roha's bag, not really having a purpose at first. He then saw a glimmer down in the corner of the sack, and he burrowed through with great fervor! He had to have the shiny! He grabbed the Dusk Stone from Roha's bag, pulling his head out with a 'foop' noise.

He flapped over to the ground, observing the glimmering thing in his beak. Roha almost yanked it out of his Murkrow's mouth until he started glowing. He..didn't realize at first what was happening, as until now he'd never known Murkrow to evolve. But once the process was over, the stone was gone and a big black bird stood in its place. "...Honch?"

Roha had no idea what he was looking at. His Wilford had changed outwardly, but not inwardly it seemed. He pulled out his Pokedex for more info. Honchkrow, the Big Boss Pokémon and the evolved form of Murkrow. Honchkrow recruits many Murkrow to travel with it, and it spends much of its time at home preening its feathers. The breeder smiled at his new pokemon, kind of glad that he had surprised him by evolving. 'Well..Wilford..You defintely seem more impressive.." Then the poor thing's brain derped out and he tried to get back on Roha's shoulder. The hulking man leaned to the left as he was tipped over by the bird's mass. "You dumb fart..You're too big for my shoulder now.." He chuckled a little bit and rubbed Wilford's head to reassure him that he was joking.

Currently, only Gypsy was still out of her pokeball, her location being Vero's arms as he walked alongside Roha off of route 801. Finally, civilization! Don't get me wrong, Vero loved battling and the outdoors and seeing new pokemon, but... at one point you just needed to go back into the city, right? Right. Good. Then they were all at an understanding, then. He sighed in exasperation and flipped his hair out of his eyes, some sort of quick movement catching his attention. Next thing he knew he was staring at his friend's Murkrow, the beast suddenly digging through the man's bag.

"Um... Roha? Can you tell me what Wilford is doing?" he asked, trying to get the breeder's attention on the bird. But he couldn't quite do so in time, and before he knew it, he was staring at a glowing pokemon. At first Vero was startled and afraid for Wilford, but then he remembered seeing trainers near Floaroma Town with pokemon that did the same thing. He was evolving? Sure enough, in the scrawny crow's place stood a rather large, puffy bird, which seemed to not realize his form had grown as he tried to hop up on Roha's shoulder.

"Hehe, you're going to need something to balance that other shoulder now" he exclaimed, giggling. Before he could say anything else, Gypsy was suddenly tugging hard on the coordinator's shirt, trying hard to get his attention. "Sniiiiiivyyyyy! Snivy Sniv!" Worried, he turned to look at the path ahead, only to see a medium-sized green blur leap at his face. Vero went down with a rather shrill "EEEEEE!", Gypsy managing to land on her feet and growl at the unknown creature. But... what was this? It was licking Vero's face? Totally confused, the Snivy looked up to Roha for help, seeing that Vero was completely knocked out for the time being.

"Growlithe!" she barked, her fluffy tail wagging furiously. She continued to try and revive the coordinator, and oddly enough, it worked after a while. At first Vero was utterly confused. A... green Growlithe? Was that even possible? Maybe someone had dyed her fur... oh, the poor baby! He scooped her up into his arms and hugged her close, already doting over the dog.

"Aw... trying to run away from a naughty child? We'll get you cleaned up soon. What I wouldn't give for a bath at the Pokemon Center anyway" he mused, a dreamy smile on his face as he tried to get up. Although... now that he looked, the green 'dye' went pretty far down into this Growlithe's fur. She stuck her tongue out at Gypsy as she realized she was being held instead of the grass snake, suddenly wiggling around and kicking an empty pokeball off of his belt. Eh? The man crouched down and placed her back on the ground, holding out the pokeball.

"You want me to capture you? But... maybe I should talk to the town's Officer Jenny first to see if someone has reported a missing... green Growlithe." Okay, that just sounded ludicrous. Would the woman even believe him if he said such a thing? Either way he was going to have to go talk to her about it, it seemed, if he wanted to know anything about this pokemon. Jennys did know a thing or two about these pokemon. Suddenly, said Growlithe pushed her forehead against the pokeball's button, withdrawing herself into it, waited until it pinged a successful capture, then released herself and shook her fur after reappearing. Vero sort of just... stared.

"I guess if this is the way it's going to be, I should come up with a name." He picked her up and studied her short face, smirking when her tongue lolled. "Sonrei seems right." He looked over at Roha, shrugging and holding her close. "To the Center and then the Gym, then, to get on with your test?"
