Quakita and it's people had survived Necro's attack, and so long as that held true, life would flourish and things would be rebuilt. Perhaps even the scars and memories of that event would patch in those who were there to experience it, too - scabbing over before eroding away to reveal a healed space still tender and easy to reopen. However, many buildings would most likely rise and fall before that would happened. Sawyer was somewhat torn between staying to make sure things had recovered and going further down the road to get away from previously mentioned memories, but when Cliff offered to hand over a shiny new badge for all their efforts... well, it definitely made her look forward to moving on.
Besides, finding a way to defeat Team Necro also lay ahead, and there was nothing stopping her from wanting to find it.
Eventually she and the rest of the gang stepped foot onto a hot, sandy route, leaving the dusty rock-filled town behind. The change of terrain wasn't really noticeable until the sun started to beat down upon the trainers, sending the temperature to unreasonable heights as they scoured on. Heat was not her cup of tea. At. All. Hailing from Blizzara did that sort of thing to a person, she guessed. Luca panted and tugged on her pants as she went to throw her hair up in a bun again, whimpering and wiping his brow. Even though being a dragon type gave him some immunity to fire, the heat was just unbearable.
"Axeeeeeeeeew..."
"I'm sorry, buddy. But you refuse to go into your pokeball, so what do you want me to do about it?" Sawyer exclaimed, glaring up at Beau as he soared through the sky... a little too happily.
C'mon you guys, it's not that bad! Grow a pair and enjoy the fresh air! he called, roaring in laughter before he sent a heavy breeze down to the group with a few flaps of his wings. There, now you can't say I never helped you out. She groaned and rubbed her temples, silently enjoying the cool gust from above. "If you want to be of some help, how about casting a little shade, you overgrown dinosaur?" She hated to say it, but... how much longer till they got to Droughtenna?[/blockquote]

Celeste panted as she trudged through the hot sun, and she looked up at her Reshiram also flying above them and frowned.
"Your brother is stupid, help us out please?" She asked Ra ra. A melodic roar sounded out as Ra ra slowly descended to the ground, casting a shadow over the group.
I hope this helps you, though maybe you don't want a fire type much closer to you than this. Said the Reshiram with slight amusement in her voice. As the group continued to walk, Celeste looked around the scorching desert and groaned as Ming-ming the Stunky crawled up her back and plopped on top of her head.
"How any pokemon could live out here I`ll never know. Can we go back to Torrentia?" She asked. Celeste's eye twitched as she tilted her head upward, shaking the Stunky.
"Heck no, but you do have a point, are there any wild pokemon living out here?" She asked curiously.

It seemed to be the day for legends. Despite having picked up a cherish ball for him back in Torrentia, Comet still prefered to be out and about in the world, rather than tucked safely away. Lesa attributed it to being left out for so long while he was newly hatched. Either way, though, she was glad to be away from Quakita and the destruction of that city. Not just because it meant moving on in their journey, but because it meant that they would be a moving target once more. The trio seemed to be on Team Necro's most wanted list. They had two of their poor undead legendaries in their possession, not to mention a myriad of different living ones that could be manipulated to Necro's twisted views. And staying in Quakita, no matter how much they had needed the help, simply made them easy targets. At least this way they didn't know exactly where Lesa and her friends were.
If that small bit of safety meant a little uncomfortable heat, Lesa would deal with it. The breeder squinted her eyes against the heat waves that twisted up from the ground and watched Comet play. Being a water type and also young, he was less affected by the blistering heat, but she still worried about him burning himself out. "Comet! How about a little cool-off, here?"
The suicune looked up and danced over to his mommy, running quick circles around the group. Above them, a small bank of clouds formed as Comet used his Rainy Day attack, but the heat sucked any water back into the air before it could fall. At least the clouds provided a bit of cover from the sun?
"Lots of pokemon actually like this sort of weather," Lesa answered, turning her attention to her companions. "This is actually a perfect haven for fire types, and ground and rock types aren't bothered by the heat. I, though, will be glad when we reach town." She glanced down at her map. Hopefully not too long now.

Beau wheeled backwards in the sky a bit at Celeste's words, a paw slapping on his heart as if he were simply aghast from her statement. Stupid? The giant dragon lifted his nose and sniffed in a prim fashion. My dear, it takes one to know one. Luca tilted his head, not quite getting the joke as Sawyer shook her head. She had high hopes that her friend knew to simply ignore him and not feed the Mankey by holding back a response, but if this heat continued to wear them down and test their patience... Beau would likely have all three girls and their pokemon jumping down his throat.
The trainer decided to refocus her attention elsewhere, first looking up and over to the other legendaries as they did their own share to help with the heat. "Thanks Ra ra - Comet. Everything helps." She DID feel much cooler with some restraint from the sun, and Sawyer was able to listen to Lesa with a much clearer mind. All of those different types, eh? Interesting. They hadn't seen many of those on their journey thus far. The change up would be very refreshing. Now, to ponder if she actually needed or wanted any of said types on her team...
Oddly enough, right after Comet finished his little dance, several pokemon made their way from behind various rocks and such to stare at them. It'd been quite a while since they'd seen trainers, and all the ruckus along with the obvious rare pokemon certainly weren't hiding these three from view. Each pokemon faced them accordingly, all of them eager to stretch their limbs and test their abilities. It took him a moment or two, but when Beau realized this, he roared and soared down closer to the group. Sawyer nearly had a heart attack when she looked over her shoulder to see the black dragon's face right up against hers, jumping and freezing in place with the most disturbed of expressions.
"Don't... ever... do that again" she gasped, blinking as she released one of her other pokemon. "I need to work with a few others before you, Beau, despite the fact that you need a lot of work." Sawyer smirked as her Flaaffy eventually appeared on the scene, hopping from foot to foot and waggling her tail. Ahh, freedom. Felt good to get out from that pokeball. The girl leaned down and patted Paisley's head before motioning towards the pokemon.

Celeste ignored Beau's comment and was enjoying the slight temperature decrease Comet provided when Ra ra too, roared at the intrusion, and landed by Celeste, casting a stern look at the wild pokemon. Celeste patted Ra ra's fluffy leg as she grabbed a pokeball.
"It's alright Ra ra. I can handle this." She said, expanding the pokeball. The Reshiram sniffed approvingly and nodded, not moving from her spot.
I know you can. I do not like surprises though, sneaking up on people is dishonest. Said the dragon. Celeste chuckled as she threw her pokeball.
"Pendra, it's showtime!" She called. The pokeball opened and her wheel-like bug pokemon emerged from it. Crying out its name and rotating rapidly.
"Whirlipede!" She yelled as she glared from inside her cocoon-like body.
"Someone is ready to go!" Celeste mused.

Roaring, roaring. Between Beau and Ra Ra, Lesa about jumped out of her skin. One moment she was lifting her hair off of her neck and enjoying the cooling effects of the hot breeze and sweat, the next she was biting back a shriek of surprise. For a second she thought they were under attack from Necro, as Comet jumped behind her and tried to hide his larger form behind her. But when she saw the wilds, she relaxed slightly. Likely they'd been attracted by the clouds. After all, that wasn't exactly something that was seen here all that often. So she couldn't blame them for their curiosity.
Lesa took a second to gently pat Comet and reassure him that all was well before pulling a pokeball from her bracelet. "Well, thank you for proving my point for me." She wasn't sure if that tone was more sarcastic or amused. "Jupiter, you're up!"
With that and a burst of light, the pidgeotto was in the air, creating down drafts with her wings. Why hadn't she thought of that before? Oh, well. "Let's start things off right. Twister on the ekans!"

Seeing as everyone else had their chosen pokemon out, Sawyer decided it was high time she chose her opponent. "Let's have a bit of a challenge, shall we Paisley? Aim a Tackle for that Numel!" she called.
The Numel, eh? The Flaaffy baahed and dug her heels into the sand. Hah, she couldn't pass up a challenge, especially against a type like this! Without any more hesitation, she ducked her head and went charging at the Numel, whose eyes widened and backed up to try and avoid the attack.
[RESULT: 7]
Meanwhile, the Ekans hissed and flickered its tongue at Jupiter, coiling and uncoiling itself in anger. As soon as he regrouped he launched himself off of the ground and towards the Pidgeotto, using Wrap as he curled himself around her.

Pendra rocked back and forth as she tried to restrain herself from rushing in to help her comrads while Celeste smirked.
"Nothing like a battle to take your mind off the heat, eh girls?" She asked as she stood up straight, her Reshiram still focused on the three wilds.
"Rollout on Torkoal!" She commanded. That was all Pendra needed to rush towards the firey turtle, rolling as fast as she possibly could.
[RESULT: 8] Super-Effective + 1
Torkoal flew up into the air as Pendra collided with him, making Celeste giggle.
"Wow, someone WAS ready to go." She said as Pendra chirped in delight.
Numel, meanwhile, took a second to realize that she had been attacked, much to her displeasure. She glared at Paisley and snorted, sending out a Flame Burst at the Flaaffy.

Lesa couldn't help but wince as the ekans got a firm grip around Jupiter. The bird screeched and rolled in the air, trying to dislodge her unwelcome passenger. "Easy, Jupiter! It's alright!" A quick glance around told her that her friends were having somewhat better luck, and she grinned briefly as Pendra smashed into the torkoal hard. Excellent, things were getting better. "We're getting stronger, I think. Jupiter, use Steel Wing!"
[RESULT: 7]
The torkoal, meanwhile, was not at all happy with being attacked. He puffed up and smoke billowed out of his nostrils and shell. "Torkoal!" he shouted, before pulling into his shell and beginning a Rapid Spin straight at Pendra.
[RESULT: 8]
