Rampardos led the 6 people into the mine entrance, making them don their safety helmets and grabbing their pickaxes and shovels. When they got deep enough, he pulled the expedition leader from the group and stood beside him, snorting to get them started.
(A result of 1 yields a sellable item instead of a cavein)

Aldo surveyed the area around them with a small sigh before looking down at Riolu. "Alright, let's get to work little guy," he said as Riolu eagerly began digging.

Zherra was super excited to be invited to the mines! Mimika showed the same enthusiasm as she chittered excitedly. She couldn't wait to start digging! Zherra walked about a bit then pointed to a spot on the ground. "Dig here, Mimika!" Mimika began to tear into the dirt with vigor.

Celeste smiled as she and Nuna picked a spot to dig. Pointing where she wanted to go, Celeste smacked her pickaxe where she wanted Nuna to dig and the grovyle nodded, thrusting her arms forward and pulling the rock away little by little.
[RESULT: 6]
Your dig yields 2 Fighting gems!
Little by little, a reddish brown could be seen, and two gems popped out of the wall. Celeste smiled and picked up the gems, putting them in her pack while petting her grovyle.

Cera literally bounced on her toes as she picked up her shovel and plopped a headlight on top of her head. She was more than a little enthusiastic as she and her growlithe began to shift through the dirt, looking for pretty shiny things.

Satisfied with their area, Celeste moved to the side a little bit so that they could dig in the same general area, again smacking the area she wanted dug out for her Grovyle, who proceeded to repeat her digging process.
[RESULT: 5]
Your dig yields 3 Fighting gems!
Celeste's instincts were on the spot, as 3 more gems tumbled out of the wall onto the ground. With a wide grin, she hugged her beloved Grovyle tightly before scooping up the gems once more, putting them in her pack before rejoining Rampardos and Aldo.

Zherra was very happy to find two fire gems from this dig. Mimika made a cheerful noise and danced about a bit. The brown haired lass moved to another spot and pointed. "Here too Mimika." The eager Chimchar started digging right away.

Well... that was disappointing. Cera looked around as everyone else dug up some cool stuff and pouted. That sucked. Why did she get nothing? Poo. She sighed, then shrugged. Oh, well. She'd just try again in another spot!

Lee was pretty happy that Maverick already managed to find something. "Keep up the good work, but try somewhere else." Maverick moved elsewhere and continued digging.

Rampardos looked around and saw everyone got a decent haul, and he nodded, pushing Aldo towards the entrance of the mine.
"Rampardos!" Time to go. He called as he started walking out, everyone else following him.
(That concludes this expedition)
