In search of the Pokemon Lab, Sander examined every house in Dust Town. He saw several houses and many colors, but for now, he didn't find one that could seem to be the Lab... Sander headed towards the Pokemon Center which he recognized by the bright red roof... He headed inside, walked straight towards the nurse behind the counter, thinking she could tell him where the Lab was...
"Excuse me...", Sander said, "But where can I find the Pokemon Lab?" "Well, if you go outside this building, go right. Then its the fifth building on the left. You can recognize it by the round windows! My name is nurse Joy, nice to meet you! Are you a new trainer? What's your name? Where do you come from?" Being overflowed with so many questions, Sander was a bit stunned, but at least he knew where the Lab is now... "My name is Sander, I lived in Solaceon Town in the Sinnoh region before I came here, and no, I don't want to become a trainer, but a breeder." Sander replied. "Thanks for the information!" He added. "You're welcome, and good luck!" Nurse Joy yelled as she saw Sander speeding off to the Lab.
"Sooo... This should be the Lab...?" Sander said as he stopped in front of a gray house with round windows and a beautiful wooden door... "The information I got from nurse Joy matches; round windows and fifth house on the left if you had gone right from the Pokemon Center..." Sander said right before he knocked on the door.

As soon as Sander knocked on the door it opened. He stepped inside and looked around, seeing it was opened by a Suicune. A freaking Suicune! Sander and the Suicune stared intently at each other for a short time before the water dog turned to leave, only to be stopped by a voice. "Hold on Ranny, I may need your help again please." A woman's voice rang out. The Suicune rolled its eyes and turned the other direction, shutting the door with its foot. It looked to Sander and nudged his back with its nose. "Cune!" It barked, urging him forward. The pair walked on until they came to a special room, the selection room. A dark-haired woman sat at a desk, typing away on a computer when Sander and the Suicune came in. Another bark from the legendary caused the woman to turn around, seeing her guest. "Thank you Ranny, welcome to my lab young man. I`m Professor Conifer, the regional professor here. I study pokemon types, and speaking of pokemon, are you ready to choose yours? Professor Rowen sent me a letter about you, and I've got everyone all ready to go. Since you know all that "This is the world of pokemon" crap, why don't we skip to the fun part? Ranny?" She asked. The Suicune turned her head towards the podium, which held 9 pokeballs on it. 6 were open and their inhabitants were playing in the corner, and the Suicune took a deep breath. "CUUUUUNNNNNNEEEEEEEE!!!!" Ranny roared, and instantly the 6 pokemon stopped what they were doing and lined up in front of the podium, eagerly awaiting to be chosen. Professor Conifer stood up and made her way to the starters, and she smiled at Sander. "You may choose any two pokemon. Please keep in mind their compatibilities, for you will have to breed them when you take the license test." She said to him. She pointed her finger to the three pokeballs still closed on the podium. "You may choose one of those if you wish, but I cannot tell you what is in them. My friend is the one who sends me these pokemon, and she specifically instructed the Mystery Pokemon to attach to the first person who opens their pokeball, so choose wisely, because once you pick one of those you cannot UNpick them. Now, which two do you choose?" She asked, stepping aside.

Right after Sander knocked on the door it opened, first looking around a bit and then looking for the professor behind the door... Then he saw it wasn't the professor, but a Pokemon... Not just a Pokemon, it was Suicune! He couldn't believe it was a Suicune who opened the door... He stands there, in the Lab, right next to Suicune, examining it with his eyes, cause he only heard of it in legends.
Then Sander heard another voice, coming from the room next to where he was. He could see Suicune rolling his eyes and closing the door, then looking right back in his eyes, making him a bit uncomfortable. The Suicune poked Sander's back and barked, making him walk towards the other room. Sander looked around the room, seeing a podium with 6 open and 3 closed pokeballs on it, and six pokemon playing in a corner... The first one he recognized was a Larvitar, and he knew, it just had to be his first pokemon he got in Varaia.
Being scared by Suicune's loud bark coming from right next to him, the uncomfortableness changed into fear, cause Sander tought Suicune would attack him. Sander was being proven wrong when he looked back at the podium, seeing the six pokemon were now lined up, all looking at him.
After professor Conifer explained to him he could choose only two from the 6 pokemon and 3 closed balls, Sander directly gone towards the Larvitar and said: "I'll pick this one". "And I think I take the closed pokeball on the left..." He said, as he reached for the left one, being interrupted by the Larvitar, pointing to the right pokeball... "You want me to pick the right one, Larvitar?" Sander asked the Larvitar, who directly nodded as answer.
"Okay, then it will be the right pokeball" Sander said as he picked up the right pokeball and threw it in the air. "Come out, come out, whoever you are..." Sander whispered while he saw the pokeball flying trough the air, following it with his eyes.

The Larvitar watched as the pokeball was thrown, and a bright flash came forth as it opened. On the ground before them stood the pokemon larvitar would most likely spend the rest of his life with. From the light, a dark blue landshark emerged. Everyone blinked as they took in the information, and Larvitar was the first to speak. "She's a Shiny Gible!" He said, surprising Professor Conifer further. The Professor's eyes widened and she had a huge grin on her face as she watched the Gible stare at its new trainer and friend. It walked up and sniffed Larvitar and then smiled, patting its head before turning to its trainer. Suddenly the Gible leapt up and latched onto Sander's shirt, cooing. Larvitar turned around and smiled, nodding his head. "She likes you. I like you too. Do you want to name us now?" He asked, tilting his head. Pokemon Name: Gible *SHINY* Gender: Female Pokemon Personality: Eager, affectionate, absentminded. Pokemon Ability: Sand Veil Pokemon Health: 28 Pokemon Level: 5 Move Roster: Tackle, Sand Attack Pokemon Name: Larvitar Gender: Male Pokemon Personality: Shy, knowledgeable, helpful Pokemon Ability: Guts Pokemon Health: 26 Pokemon Level: 5 Move Roster: Bite, Leer

Being shocked by the fact Larvitar could talk human speech and the Gible was shiny, Sander was standing there again, with open mouth and big eyes. Then Larvitar asked Sander if he'd like to name the two pokemon, and that was an easy question for Sander.
"Yes, ofcourse I'll name you two... Names..." Sander replied. "I think I'll name you Silas" Sander said as he looked to Larvitar. "And your name will be Azure" Sander pointed towards the shiny Gible.

"Ohh... should I, or shouldn't I?" a young girl mumbled. Thin, short, and arms folded across her chest, the aspiring coordinator was having a terrible time deciding if she should go inside the Lab or not. She'd seen a guy go in earlier, so she was certain it was open. But... what if she interrupted some sort of speech, interfered with matters that weren't supposed to be tampered in? She definitely didn't want to be a bother and become a hassle to the Professor by barging in. However, wasn't it easier for the woman to assemble the pokemon if there was more than one person there to see her about them? Unless there were more inside and she simply didn't see them go in.. oh, why did this have to be so hard?
Right then and there, Allie wanted to turn around and seek the port on which she'd arrived and turn around and go home - that's how pressured she felt. If she did that, though, what would she have done to prove her worth to her parents? Nothing. Absolutely nothing. And what would she have done to prove to herself that she could be a respected coordinator and that following through with her newfound dream wasn't a bad idea? The answer remained the same.
Shivering in apprehension, the young girl pushed open the door and peered in, wide eyes scanning the area before she walked in, stopping when she heard a click and then a sudden muttering of names. Curious, yet not wanting to get too close, Allie walked in a little further and cleared her throat, blushing hard as she was sure she'd just attracted attention to herself.
"I-Is this the right place? To o-obtain a Pokemon, that is." She felt more nervous than a Meowth on a porch of rocking chairs, but she needed to buck up and speak every once in a while, right?

Looking at Allie as she came in, Sander tought she could be someone he could travel with during his journey in Varaia. Being alone on a journey could be boring sometimes, having no-one to talk with.
"I think I take the white Pokedex, and the second bag please" He said to professor Conifer. When Sander was putting its items in its new bag, it introduced itself to Allie. "Hello there. My name is Sander and I came from Solaceon town in the Sinnoh region, and I want to become a top-class Pokemon Breeder!" He said, wondering what pokemon Allie would take as her starters.

Oh, what a relief. The Professor seemed really nice, didn't she? And the boy - Sander, was that what he said? - was just as nice as the Professor! Her small smile grew as she made her way to stand beside the breeder, hands cupping together as she bent down and studied the pokemon. But whoops, how rude of her! She'd better answer the boy's question first before choosing.
"Hey t-there. My name is Alenai, but I prefer to go by Allie. It's much simpler than all t-that mess." The coordinator offered him a hand to shake before continuing. "Breeders are really interesting from what I've heard. I've never been to Solaceon town.. I'm from the Johto region. But I think your hometown is in Sinnoh, right? If it's not, I'm so sorry for the mistake!" She shivered a little then, tried to hide her blush of embarrassment, and then took to focusing on the pokemon. Charmander was very cute, but something about that Totodile made her squee inside.
"Would you like to come with me little fella?" Allie said, looking straight at the big jaw pokemon. It seemed to leap in joy once her decision was made. "You can choose a friend to come with us too, the Professor is being nice enough to let me take two pokemon." Totodile seemed lost, but shrugged and waltzed up to the podium, shook it a bit, and grabbed the first pokeball that fell, presenting it to his new partner. "Dile?"
"A mystery one..? Oh, okay. Let's see who's going to be coming with us!" And with that Allie pushed the button, smiling happily at both the Professor and Sander.

From the pokeball the light seemed to bounce forth from it. When it took its true shape, the little brown pokemon hopped around the lab, happy to be free at last! In gratitude she turned to her new trainer and leapt up, grabbing her about the neck in an affectionate hug. "Buneary!" She cried. Professor Conifer smiled as she watched the new family get to know each other, staying back until they were done with introductions. Pokemon Name: Buneary Gender: Female Pokemon Personality: Energetic, affectionate, claustrophobic Pokemon Ability: Run Away Pokemon Health: 24 Pokemon Level: 5 Move Roster: Splash, Pound, Defense Curl, Foresight Pokemon Name: Totodile Gender: Male Pokemon Personality: Excited, loving, protective Pokemon Ability: Torrent Pokemon Health: 25 Pokemon Level: 5 Move Roster: Scratch, Leer

"Look Ty, she's a Buneary!" Allie giggled, not noticing that she'd clearly stated the obvious while talking to the water pokemon. "I think I'll call her Delilah." Even though the little normal type was happy to hug and thank her new partner, the closeness of it all was a bit... unnerving. She wiggled her way out of the girl's arms and hopped over beside Totodile, ears popping one after another as she cried out again. "Buneary! Bun bun!" Ty joined in the glee fest by doing the traditional Totodile "jump up as high as you can and wave your arms and legs like a madman" type thing, both of them filling Allie with a newfound pride.
"We're going to be a great team, I can tell." And although she knew they would protect her, Allie was nervous about going through it alone. Route 801 had lots of other trainers and pokemon.. what if something went wrong and her new friends fainted? It would be really nice if she could have some company. But the only other person she knew who hadn't left yet was the boy in front of her. Would... would he mind? Blushing hard in fear of being a bother (not because of anything else, mind you), Allie turned to look at Sander, her feet shuffling when she began to speak.
"Do.. d-do you think it might be a g-good idea if we travel together? I-I'm just thinking ab-bout the safety of my pokemon, and more than one person is alw-ways a good thing, right?" Immediately her eyes fell to the floor and she picked up Ty for comfort, his chubby blue paws patting her head. "A-and so you won't have to worry about talking to me anymore, Miss Conifer, may I take the t-third bag there and a blue Pokedex?"

While watching Allie choose and name her pokemon, Sander putted the pokeballs of his pokemon in the bag, knowing he shouldn't need them soon cause his pokemon were traveling out of their pokeballs for a time, to make their bond stronger.
Then Allie asked if they could travel together. "Ofcourse we can travel together, it's safer for us and our pokemon, and its fun cause we can talk about things, cause we're not alone... Are you ready? I want to go on an adventure!" Sander answered, smiling. Then he turned towards the professor. "I hope we will see you again sometime, professor Conifer..." Sander said.
