And then there was one. The pink frillish stood alone as the three girls concentrated their efforts on being in sync with their new pokemon. Celeste wanted to cheer for her friends for defeating their opponent but she knew they were not done yet. The remaining grunt held his ground and glared at his frillish, not happy with the way things were going.
"Alright, use hex on the seviper!" He said, the frillish prepared to attack, opening a shadowy eye behind it.
[RESULT: 6]
The attack made its mark, striking the seviper and making it scream from sheer horror. Celeste gritted her teeth and looked at her stunky, nodding at her.
"Quick, help seviper with screech!" She said, and the stunky smirked, sucking a deep breath to scream at Frillish.
[RESULT: 5] Add 2 to all damage taken by frillish.
"EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!" Screamed the stunky, breaking Frillish's attack and making it grab its head in pain.

At this point, Sawyer had to struggle to control herself and think things through instead of seethe at her opponent. That poor Seviper! ...Her poor Seviper. Her face flushed an angry red hue, but as she looked to Celeste and Lesa, she calmed down a bit. They were helping each other and herself out, and she wasn't doing much to return the favor. She was pretty sure that Seviper didn't know any helping moves, though, or stat lowering ones. So what was she to do but attack?
Once the Stunky broke the Frillish's focus and released the snake from its grasp, Seviper shook his head and floated in the water. The trainer gave him as much time to recoop as possible before calling to him again.
"Time for revenge. Night Slash one more time!"
[RESULT: 8] Super-effective +1, Helping Hand +2, Screech +2
The Seviper needed no imploring as he charged forward, whipping around hard and hissing in delight as he shook from the force in which he hit the Frillish. Still, it wasn't quite enough to knock the pokemon completely out, and as he swam back to the shore, Sawyer pointed towards the cage and the grunts themselves.
"Make sure they don't try anything fishy." Frillish F. lv. 20: 2/20 Frillish M. lv. 20: 0/21 Frillish M. lv. 20: 0/20Eevee: 25/25 Stunky: 27/27 Seviper: 24/32

The frillish did not have much left to give, and Celeste knew this well. There was only one thing left to do, and stunky was ready. "Alright, use Crunch, one more time!" Celeste yelled as the stunky ran towards Frillish, teeth ready. [RESULT: 1] Super effective, +1, Helping hand + 2, Screech +2 With that one last attack, frillish went down in a flash. The Necro grunts growled and pulled on a chain, causing the Ho-oh that landed in the water to reappear. It looked to be in great pain, though its "trainers" could care less as they commanded an attack. "POISON GAS!" They shouted. Celeste's eyes widened at the command as Ho-oh prepared its attack. Stunky looked on in horror as she rejoined her friends. "But Ho-oh can't learn Poison Gas!" She shouted. Nevertheless, Ho-oh opened its beak and let out a horrifying wheeze, a blackish purple cloud blasting toward them. This was it, they would be poisoned. They would be killed. Just as Celeste came down on her knees in the wake of the attack, a bright light appeared before them, shielding them from the attack. The poisonous smoke engulfed the light and for a moment, no one knew what was happening. But as fast as the attack came, it disappeared just as quickly as it spiraled in on itself, leaving a green and white pokemon in its wake. It had a dark purple scarf-like appendage on its neck and the pokemon gave a cocky smirk, screaming a battle cry as its scarf glowed. A beam of green light shot out from the small pokemon and blasted the ho-oh once more, and the pokemon rushed forward, smashing into the ho-oh's belly, making the bird disappear. A small bit of purple was left on its scarf, and it let out another green beam right at the grunts, whose aquatic rides exploded on impact. "Team Necro's going to haunt someone ellllllllllllse!" They screamed as they flew through the air. Satisfied with its work, the pokemon flew back to the group, dropping a master ball into Sawyer's hands and fluttering towards Lesa. It tilted its head, showing a small green ball and a note. Lesa took the note and unfolded it, reading its message. I have heard of your travels from my friend, Professor Conifer, who has been told by the one called Celeste of your attraction to Legendary pokemon. I have also been told that you have been encountering some dangerous people who use deadly pokemon. In light of your accomplishments and as thanks for looking after Con's niece, please take this Shaymin with you on your journey. Though she is young, she knows the powerful Seed Flare, which will protect you from all forms of poison so long as she can absorb them.
Yours Truly,
Head of ParadisiaAs she finished the note, Shaymin gave her a smile and unlatched the pokeball from its scarf, revealing it to be a Paradisia-marked Cherish Ball. Shaymin rubbed at its scarf until the extra Gracidea it carried fell off, reverting it to its Land Forme. Shaymin shook itself off and gave Lesa a small smile, nosing the Cherish Ball toward her with its special item. Stunky, meanwhile, stared hard at the master ball Sawyer was given and snorted uneasily at it. "When we got captured, I heard them say they got that Ho-Oh from around the Abyss of Legends. I bet that Ho-oh is getting close to its time. You should keep it for awhile, until you can go to the Abyss." She said, looking up at her new trainer. Pokemon Obtained: Sawyer: Pokemon Name: U. It had appeared the battle was over once the Frillish were down, however, Team Necro had other things in mind. Yanking harshly on a chain, the poor battered Ho-oh was resurfaced, struggling for freedom and a breath of fresh air. Faded golden, green, and white feathers stirred around in the froth of the water as it rose, Sawyer wincing and finding herself weak-kneed as she heard the old bird's bones creaking as it prepared itself to attack. Even though it was a legendary... was it really strong enough to belt out something like a-- Poison Gas?
Just as surprised as the rest of the team was, the trainer immediately clung to the large snake that had swam back to shore and slithered amongst the group, looking over to Lesa and Celeste. They'd braved through an Entei and even more, only to die by poisoning? You'd think Team Necro would want to punish them a little more than that. Attempting to brace for the attack, she looked down, but an instant before her sharp eyes could do so, a bright green light pierced the sky and beamed right into the Ho-oh. In a matter of moments a small pokemon had defeated the massive creature, plunked it into a ball, sent the enemy flying away, and was making its way towards them.
Even though she was more or less shocked, snarky and most likely corny words still made their way out of her mouth. "Necro Necro, go away, come again some other day so we can kick your butts then too!" Sawyer exclaimed, nearly jumping up and down in rage at the idiotic group's attempts to thwart them. They were so idiotic... it really made her wonder how in the world they got ahold of what pokemon and legendaries they did. And then there was a purple ball being dropped into her grasp, the pokemon she could now easily identify as being a Shaymin, floating over to Lesa. Her attention was scattered and her brain was wrecked as she tried to make sense of anything. But at this point, was there any use in that?
"Abyss.. of Legends, huh? That's not something to be taken lightly. In the same boat as Lesa's Rayquaze, I bet." Frowning, Sawyer turned to the breeder and tilted her head. "What's that, a secret love note from a far-away lover boy?" The Seviper at her side rolled his eyes and hissed, drawing her attention down to him quickly.
"Oh, right. These fellas... I know they sort of flocked to us during the battle, and they haven't left yet, but does that mean they're gonna be a permanent part of the group now? If so... I think nothing would suit you better than Diablo." The Seviper puffed out his chest and narrowed his eyes as he thought the name over. Yessssss... that would do well, he supposed.

The eevee stood there, absolutely irate that his win had been stolen from him. He glared daggers at the stunky, and Lesa couldn't blame him. She was rather upset herself. Hello? What, she was just invisible? Or was it that her companions felt she wasn't a competent battler? Anger and irritation bubbled just below the surface as she reached out for the eevee who jumped into her arms. So much so that she couldn't even be bothered to be scared when she saw the large purple smog forming and moving quickly in their direction. True, she knew what it was, knew what it meant for them, but it was as if she was detached from her own body, a spectator watching from an untouchable place as something happened to others. It was something that happened when she was upset, and Lesa was well used to the feeling.
Even so, it was interesting to see the green streak that so quickly came in and turned the situation on it's head, sending the poison gas and Team Necro into oblivion. For the moment. Hm. Intriguing. Even more so when the green streak turned out to be a pokemon that headed straight for her. Lesa just wasn't sure what to make of all of this. First Comet, and now this shaymin was dropping a letter and a cherish ball into her hands. She read the note three times over before she glanced at the red ball, twisting it around to see the bright red eye emblazoned into it. A Paradisia ball. Now that was rare. So she didn't hesitate to reply with a snappy retort. "This so happens to be a Paradisia Cherish ball, Sawyer. You do know about Paradisia don't you?"
The girl did have a good point though. As the shaymin landed on her shoulder, Lesa looked down to the silver furred eevee in her arms. "What about you, little guy? Do you have an owner somewhere?" She had no idea how or where Team Necro had managed to steal these pokemon from. They were all very special, and she was sure they had come from some place important.

Celeste chuckled sheepishly at Lesa as Stunky snorted, not regretting her actions at all. She jumped up on Celeste's shoulder and snickered.
"We don't have trainers. At least, we didn't. I don't know about those two sausage factories, but I like you guys. I think I`ll stay with this one, I like her more." She said, making Celeste's jaw drop. What a vulgar pokemon! Celeste gingerly reached up to pet the stunky on her shoulder, pulling out a pokeball.
"Well, uh, thank you? Um, what should I call you?" She asked. The stunky rolled her eyes and tapped Celeste's head with her paw.
"Hello? Anyone in there? YOU are the trainer silly squirtle. You pick a name." She said, snorting. Celeste sighed and enlarged the pokeball.
"Ok then, I`ll call you, Ming-ming. Into the ball you go." She said, tapping the stunky's head with the ball. The pokeball opened up and brought Ming-ming inside it, shaking in Celeste's hand before pinging a successful capture. Celeste smiled at her friends as Aquafina ran closer to them, panting heavily.
"All I can say is, Wow. You three really cleaned house. So listen, I wanna thank you girls, but I have no idea how, um..." She said in deep thought. Floatzel padded up beside her and poked her arm, holding out a pouch. Aquafina grinned wide as she grabbed the pouch, reaching inside and holding her hand out.
"Good idea Floatzel. As my thanks, allow me to present the Wave Badge, proof that you have conquered the Torrentia Gym." She said, opening her hand to reveal three circular badges.

Oh Seadra. Lesa didn't look irate or upset - she was far beyond pissed. Or maybe Sawyer was simply overreacting since she was the one to receive the snide comment. She shot the breeder a bit of a look, but said nothing. There was no need to start a fight over something petty like this, especially once Lesa had turned her attention to the shiny Eevee in her arms. See? Practically forgotten already. Key word practically, not completely.
And then the Stunky's comment changed the mood entirely. Bahaha! Vulgar indeed, but entertaining all the same. Funny that she chose Celeste. With that decided, she looked down to her new shiny Seviper, rolling her eyes. "Weeeell, I guess you've earned your keep, Diablo. Into the ball with you too" she said jokingly, pulling one from her bag and tapping it against the snake's body. Once that was done, she sort of sighed and looked around. There wasn't really much of a mess made since the majority of the battle had taken place on the water, although it did look like a few docks might have been damaged, and the nearest shore seemed to be a bit frayed from the talon marks of the Ho-oh. Other than that, everything looked... OH LOOK, SOMEONE WAS COMING TO SAVE THEM!
Sawyer waved as if nothing had happened when Aquafina arrived, and when she stopped speaking and presented them with the Wave Badge, she nearly doubled over. "Puck yes! Ah, this works out wonderfully." Then again, this was a bit of a double-edged sword. She had the badge in her grasp, but she kind of needed to exp. from the battle to help her growing team level up. She supposed there would be time for that later, though. And just because they'd received the badges didn't mean that they could up and leave, either. Lesa would still have to take the breeder's challenge tomorrow, unless the woman decided to take her on early because of what they'd done with Team Necro.
"Wonder where they'll go from here" Sawyer randomly muttered, looking towards the direction where the goons had blasted off. "Said something about bothering something else, so it sounds like they have more.. advanced plans in mind. Hopefully we slowed them down, though. I can't help but wonder how they manage to do all of this, they're clearly a little messed up in the head." After that, she looked around a bit, as if to say 'where do we go from here?'. After this incident, though, it was more than safe to say that she wanted to go back to the Pokemon Center and check on the rest of her team and egg.
