Celeste's eyes were wide as Comet padded around on the docks of the aquatic city. It was quite easy to get to the city, since Comet could walk on water and all, and the girls looked around at the rather beautiful city as they finally got to the pokemon center, only to see a rather strange sight going on in front of the lobby.
"All I`m saying is that we should secure the city more Finny! I mean, my place ain't exactly well hidden y'know. They`ll come after my Kyogre and Suicune and Palkia, and they`ll tear up the city to do it!" Said the blue-haired woman on the left, a Milotic right behind her.
"That is why my wailord army is just past the river! Between them and our pokemon no-one will be able to sneak past us! Stop being so paranoid Becky!" Said the purple-haired woman on the right. A Floatzel behing her nodded sagelike at his trainer's arguement, knowing it was a good one. Becky growled and balled her fists, shaking.
"You are so stubborn! Ugh!!!!" She said, stomping towards the exit of the pokemon center. The girls looked out as she dove into the water with her Milotic. Celeste blinked at the retreating forms and turned to her friends.
"What was that all about?" She asked curiously.

After the tussle, Sawyer scooted off of Comet and stretch, somewhat sore from the hour journey. It may have been a lot faster than by foot, but Comet was still young and tended to bounce more than he did run. Things tended to get a little rough when you were traveling on a puppy who got distracted by Caterpie on the way and had to turn to look at each and every one.
"I'm not sure, and, slap me for assuming the obvious, but would you think that they're talking about you know who (not Voldemort)? Don't think I know anyone else who would try to steal a Palkia, Kyogre, and Suicune. Especially from a person that fiery." She immediately tossed her bag onto the ground, placed her egg gently on top, and stretched some more, finally stopping when she heard a satisfying crack. "If it is... that means they're going deeper and deeper into Varaia."
"Either way, the other woman is still standing there. If you're really curious, you could ask her." Sawyer smirked. Celeste would be crazy to do that, especially since the chick looked mad. But then again, the other girl wasn't exactly sane. Picking up her black egg and pulling it close to her chest, she turned to see if there were any Chansey nearby so she and her friends could get their pokemon healed. Then hopefully they could decide what they'd be doing from here on out.

Celeste looked over where the woman with the floatzel stood and, following Sawyer's advice, approached her.
"Uh, how's it going? What was that all about?" She asked. The purple haired woman glared at Celeste, making the coordinator jump and Vulpina growl, only to retract the look and replace it with a frantic apologetic one.
"Oh my that wasn't at you! I`m so sorry! Don't you worry about what just happened there hun, it's nothing to worry about. My name is Aquafina, I`m the Gym Leader in this town. And this is my Floatzel." She said, introducing the orange water type.
"Floatzel." Howdy. He said, nodding his head and raising a paw. Celeste smiled and held her white egg close, returning the smile.
"My name is Celeste, I`m a coordinator. This zorua here is Vulpina, and the Venipede on my back in Pendra. That is Sawyer, she's a trainer, and she's gonna wanna challenge you. And that is Lesa. She's a breeder." Celeste said, introducing everyone. Aquafina frowned as she crossed her arms, snorting.
"A breeder eh? Well I hate to tell ya, that woman that just left was Becker, the Head of our town's breeding center. She's not too happy at the moment, I'd give her a day or so to cool off before you go lookin for her." She said with a nod.

She really did it. She actually went and talked to the purple-haired woman (not Nicki Minaj). Sawyer wasn't sure if Celeste was really that brave, really that naive, or really that stupid - especially the latter when the person first turned around. The trainer leaned forward on her toes and could feel the hair along her neck bristle, but as soon as it did, the woman was apologizing. Sawyer's egg tingled against her arms as if she should have known better.
Soooooo! That lady there was this town's Gym Leader! Her amber eyes looked her up and down, also scanning her Floatzel, before she nodded to herself. Yup, water types. Sort of obvious in this town, but what did making sure hurt? She offered Aquafina an introductory wave before plucking her pokeballs off of her belt and placing them on a cart that an Audino happened to roll up, a Chansey and Blissey following her to offer the same for Celeste and Lesa's pokemon. Giving the egg one final snug, she also placed it on the cart, smirking at the Audino's hat. Heh, cute.
"Audino~" the pokemon cooed, as if thanking Sawyer for the compliment she never said aloud. At that moment, the trainer turned around and faced Celeste again, her head tilted. "Becker said she had a Suicune, right? I wonder if that's Ranny..."

Aquafina looked at Sawyer curiously, tilting her head at her comment.
"Who? As far as I know Becky only has two suicune, Bonnie and Clyde. Never heard of one named Ranny." She said, turning back to the group as they turned in their pokemon for a checkup. Aquafina stretched her arms up and cracked her neck and turned to the girls with a smile.
"So, how about I show you guys around the city the fun way? Torrentia looks awesome from the water." She said. Celeste gulped and gave a sheepish smile at the gym leader.
"We, uh, don't have bathing suits." She told her. Aquafina chuckled and shook her head dismissively.
"Don't worry about that. I can take care of it. You wanna go?" She asked, stretching once more. Celeste looked to her friends and tilted her head.
"What do you guys think? We're gonna be here for awhile anyway." She pointed out, looking in the direction the nurses took her pokemon.

Lesa was quiet as she listened to the exchange between what was later revealed to be the Gym Leader and Breeder head. She could have groaned when she learned that the woman who stormed away was the one she needed to do, but what would be, would be. So she focused on the task at hand. Finding her legs. This was bar far the farthest she'd ridden on any suicune, which wasn't really saying much considering things, but it had still taken it's toll on her. After all, Comet was just a puppy, and was rather enthusiastic in every thing he did. So when she slid off of him, rather than landing gracefully, she kind of just melted into a legless puddle.
"Do you need a checkup, Comet?" she asked the pup who had flopped down next to her. The big blue dog simply shook his head, still full of energy, so it was just her pokeballs and egg that went with the nurse pokemon. "Please take special care of the pidgey. She just hatched so I want to make sure she's okay."
They simply nodded and rolled the carts away, while Lesa turned to Aquafina and Celeste. "Well, if we're going to be here, we may as well be tourists and spend some time relaxing. With all the drama that's been happening lately, we could use some relaxation."

Aquafina smiled as she led the group outside, giving a short whistle. From under the water a lapras appeared and swam towards the dock as Aquafina and her Floatzel dove in. The gym leader surfaced and waved at the group, pointing to her pokemon
"Hop on! Lapras`ll carry you!" She said as the girls mounted the water pokemon, Celeste a bit more uneasily. She whimpered a bit and hugged herself, missing her precious egg, while she sat on the lapras and gulped, looking at Lesa behind her.
"I`m uh, kinda afraid of the water. I mean, it's one thing riding on top of it with Ranny or Comet, but it's another to actually be, well, in it." She said as the Lapras lurched forward, causing the girl to yelp.
As the pokemon swam, Aquafina gave the girls a tour of her city, pointing out the various hotels and aquariums around. She explained how the city was able to stay in place thanks to anchors holding it down so that the city would not become beached. As the tour went on, something in Lesa's backpack kept wobbling, though none of the girls seemed to notice as they reached the center of the town, floating in the battlefield of the gym.
"...the wailord are really nice, they keep us safe. And that concludes our tour. So what do you think? Like my city?" She asked eagerly. Celeste exhaled and watched the Gym leader, smiling sheepishly.
"Well, uh---what is that?" She asked, pointing at the water below them. A dark form came hurdling toward them, and Celeste felt uneasy about it. Aquafina seemed to study it for a moment before her eyes widened and she turned to the lapras carrying the girls.
"Muk, LAPRAS! GET AWAY!" She said as Floatzel sped towards the shore. The lapras did it's best to follow suit but it was too late, and a giant blue form catapulted the group skyward. Celeste reached out to grab the hands of her companions, Lesa, Sawyer, and Comet, wishing she had Reso to help them down safely with his Confusion.
"Don't let go!" She said as they descended. Aquafina pulled out a pokeball and pointed it toward the airborne lapras, recalling it.
"Noo! Hold on!" She said, trying to think about how to save her guests. Suddenly, a beam of light emerged from Lesa's backpack as the girls continued to fall, and their trip earthbound was stopped as they landed belly-first on something. The first thing celeste noticed was the smell. It was so nasty! The coordinator tentatively cracked open an eye and saw pale green flesh. The Rayquaza! She forgot that Lesa had put it's pokeball in her backpack and not with her other pokemon, and Celeste almost kissed the flying serpent as it carried them down. if not for it's softer-than-normal skin, of course. Before anyone could ask anything the wailord that shot them skyward appeared again, leaping over the city. A ball of fire emerged from the sky and hit the wailord, and it soon descended, revealing a balding Ho-oh with two suspicious characters on it and a cage in its claws.
"TEAM NECRO!" Celeste and her friends cried out, feeling helpless.
"Oh drat! Not those brats again!" Said the masked people.
"Let us out! Help us!" Said a voice from inside the cage attached to the ho-oh's legs. Celeste gritted her teeth as she turned to Lesa.
"You're the only one with a pokemon capable of taking that thing out!" She said as the neglected firebird drew closer.

While she was enjoying the tour, Lesa was enjoying watching Comet more. He was splashing around in the water next to the lapras and having just a high ol' time. She was paging attention, but occasionally a small chuckle escaped her at the pup's antics. Of course, what caught her attention most was the dark bubble beneath the water of the battlefield. At first, it was just an indistinct shape, but as she narrowed her eyes, it formed itself into a massive underwater building. "Excuse me, Aquafina? What is that down there?" she asked, pointing out the building, just as someone else did the same pointing towards a massive object moving towards them.
What happened next was a blur of motion and screaming. All she really knew was that one moment she was up in the air, Celeste with a death grip on her, and the next she was resting on a rather foul smelling object. Unlike Celeste, though, she had her eyes open, and immediately know what it was that had saved them. "Thank you," she murmured to the rayquaza, patting it's side despite the fact that it was molting and rather disturbing. Up close, she began to wonder just how this poor creature was surviving after being so abused.
She didn't have much time to reflect on it though. There were pressing things to deal with. Lesa remembered the massive power of the rayquaza beneath her, and something told her that the ho-oh opposite them would have the same unearthly power. So Celeste's comment received a nod. "Please be careful, we can't hurt the people in those cage. Try a dragon pulse on the ho-oh."
[RESULT: 8]
The rayquaza complied, but it made Lesa want to cry when it did. As the creature moved, it's bones audibly creaked and groaned. The poor creature beneath her moaned with the effort of making and forming the attack, it's every movement causing it obvious pain.
"I'm so sorry," Lesa whispered to it.

The attack struck the ho-oh dead on, knocking so many feathers off of it's pathetic wings it plunged into the water below, knocking off it's riders and releasing the cage in it's claws. The Ho-oh struggled to regain itself in the water as the two grunts that rode it pulled out suitcases that turned into small jetskis, and they rode to the girls, only to be stopped by a blue orb knocking them back. Looking towards the field, the girls saw not one, not two, but three pokemon awkwardly swimming toward them. The silver shape stopped mid-stroke and curled into itself, a ring of blue balls surrounding it. It uncurled and launched the balls back towards the grunts, who sped away from the attack. The three pokemon paddled their way to the docks as the Rayquaza brought its passengers to ground. Celeste's eyes widened at the crew as she stepped off, watching the pokemon shake water off of themselves. "Yuck, you just HAD to blast that ho-oh out of the sky with us in it, didn't you? You couldn't, I dunno, GET THE CAGE FIRST? Great, now I`m going to smell like wet lillipup. What are you looking at?" Said the purple one, glaring at Celeste. Celeste pulled out her pokedex and scanned the pokemon. "Stunky, the Skunk pokemon. Stunky is able to secrete a foul-smelling fluid from it's hindquarters that lasts for 24 hours." Said the pokedex as the other two pokemon climbed out, heading towards Lesa and Sawyer. Celeste watched in shock as she watched the oddly-colored Eevee and Seviper approach her friends as if they were long-lost-family, and behind her the Team Necro grunts glared, throwing pokeballs. "Nasty little brats, you`ll pay for that!" They said as three pokemon emerged, two of them blue and one of them pink. Celeste pulled out her pokedex again and looked them up. "Frillish, the Floating pokemon. Frillish is said to live in underwater dens five miles below the sea, where it eats prey captured using it's long, poisonous tentacles." It said, making Celeste gulp. The Stunky behind her sighed and stepped in front, facing the frillish. "Looks like it's me and you. Come on, help us show these guys who's boss!" Said the stunky as her companions joined her in front of Celeste's friends. Sawyer stood and nodded haughtily to her friends and Aquafina. Even though she lived in the middle of a poor place and a snow drift, there was that one time when her family took a vacation to the beach and for that one time, her parents insisted that she and her siblings learn how to swim. Welp, looked like she was about to finally use her abilities for something good!
There was no hesitation as she slung her bag over her shoulder and hopped aboard the Lapras, although, she did sort of feel bad for Celeste. Maybe they could teach her how to swim later? If they had any time, that is. Or maybe if she got any water pokemon in the future they could try and help her get over her fear of the water. Eventually they took off, though, and Sawyer was slightly surprised to find that the tour wasn't as boring as she thought it would be. Interesting to see that there were actually hotels near the water, too. And her Wailord army? Impressive. The trainer had to give the woman props for that.
And then Celeste was pointing towards something and they were launched into the sky. At first, she thought the coordinator was holding their hands so they could usher their petty little lives away with a round of 'Kumbayah'. But once she realized what was going on, Sawyer clung back with everything she had. And thankfully, before she could start muttering her will to herself, they landed on a squishy yet terribly smelling surface. She'd winced when she landed, but otherwise had her eyes open as well, and when she realized it was a Rayquaza, she freaked. Celeste and Lesa had only briefly updated her on what had happened while she stayed back in Gustella, so it took a moment for her to realize that the breeder had been presented with transporting an oddly colored legendary somewhere.
Under the shock, she really did feel sorry for the pokemon. It was obviously under a lot of stress, and when she saw the poor Ho-oh, her heart strings were nearly shredded. A legendary especially should not look like that. The poor thing! How did that ridiculous team have enough power to sustain a Ho-oh anyway? Growling at Team Necro, Sawyer was glad to see that the Rayquaza could still belt out strong attacks, even though he suffered because of the energy required to make such a blow. Normally she would have cheered on their behalf, but the sight of the Ho-oh struggling in the water and Team Necro carelessly getting away to keep themselves save enraged her. She hardly noticed the cage.
"You idiots!" She yelled, giving the dark legendary a thankful and gentle pat as she jumped off towards the ground, eyeing the newest pokemon on the shore with growing curiosity. Her mouth opened to say something else, but then the Stunky began talking. Oh, wonderful! This one sounded like she could be Aunia's twin! Sawyer couldn't help but smirk at her antics, though. Silly thing. At least she was bringing up the mood to try and cover her.. less than tasteful stench. The Eevee immediately padded towards Lesa, and the oddly colored Seviper slithered towards her, hissing protectively as he curled his large tail around her leg. Oh boy.
He left her side and stood alongside the Stunky, though, when the Frillish appeared. Sawyer blinked for a moment and then took a step forward too, clenching a fist as she remembered her previous rage. "We can't let them float or ski or whatever away after what they've done, no matter how cliche that sounds. Seviper" she said, hoping that the pokemon would at least listen to her ", attack the big blue one!" He seemed to stand tall and lurch forward at her voice, launching himself off of the shore and into the water towards the Frillish, slamming a Poison Tail attack upon the water.
"Sevipa!"

The Frillish cried out from the strong force of the attack and it's allies moved out of the way as it went flying past. It's trainer gritted his teeth
"Thanks for nothing! Frillish, water pulse!" He cried, hoping to get back the shiny seviper with this attack.
[RESULT: 3]
No such luck, as the seviper fended off most of the attack with it's tailblade. Celeste gritted her teeth as she glared at the evildoers and clenched her fists.
"Can't we go anywhere without you weirdos mucking things up? Stunky, use crunch!" She commanded, and the stunky looked pumped, running around the docks and leaping on top of the weaker male frillish.
"You're mine! Kalamari anyone?" She said as she opened her jaws wide.
[RESULT: 9] Super Effective, +1
And it was a massive critical hit as she clenched her jaws around it's head, crushing it and throwing it at it's partner. Celeste cheered and fist-pumped as her stunky quickly returned before any retaliation could come.
"Use Hex!" Said the grunt whose frillish was just struck. The frillish stood tall and glared at the stunky, not impressed at all by the attack.
[RESULT: 0]
Stunky dove underwater before the attack could land and swam back to Celeste, pulling herself out and glaring at her opponents.
"Nice try, fish fry! You`ll have to do better than that!" She said, sticking her tongue out.

Well, things were just getting better and better, weren't they? Lesa watched in fascination as the three pokemon that she had mistaken for people, thanks to the little stunky, swan up to meet them. Almost immediately, one came over to her, and she glanced down to see that despite it's odd coloring, it was an eevee. Well, she had a bit of experience with those! "Hello, little one," she greeted him, before he turned to face the frillish. Her friends also had partners.
She stood for a moment, looking between them, watching in appreciation as her friends began the battle. But there was one thing she had to do before she jumped in. So she turned to the rayquaza and gently patted it's side. "Thank you for saving us. Please take a rest," she said to it, recalling it into it's master ball.
Then she turned to the eevee. "Alright then, kiddo! Let's see what you can do! Use helping hand!"
The silvery form began to glow, and the glow spread out to the seviper and stunky, enveloping them and giving them the hum of power.

The Stunky felt her power grow as she growled at her opponents, awaiting a command.
"Use Crunch again!" Celeste said. The Stunky immediately ran forward towards her opponent and attempted to bite down on his head again.
[RESULT: 7] Super-effective +1, +2 from helping hand
And the attack hit it's mark, knocking the Frillish out cold. Stunky puffed up in pride and turned to Celeste.
"Aright, whose butt do I kick next?" She yelled, ready for more action.

Sawyer couldn't help but stand on her tip-toes and look upward in pride as she watched Celeste and Lesa work together to take down one of the Frillish. True, she hadn't been the one to do it, but who cared when you had awesome strategic friends who knew what they were doing? The new shiny Eevee's Helping Hand would add to their combo significantly, and now ready to send the Seviper back into a bout of attacks, the trainer jabbed a finger towards the last blue Frillish.
"Alright, sneak around and use Night Slash on your target! Use the water to cloak yourself!" she called. The fang snake pokemon smiled in an almost sinister fashion, slinking through the water. Even from underneath the water it was easy to see that his bladed tail was beginning to acquire an eerie, black fog, the beginnings of an attack he was about to launch. The Team Necro baddy wasn't about to stand around and let him get another attack in, though.
"Not so fast! Bubblebeam it, Frillish!" Slipping through the water with uncanny speed, the pokemon nodded and reared his head back, firing a strong row of bubbles at Seviper.
[RESULT: 2]
"Use your tail to cut through it!" Sawyer barked, gritting her teeth as her new pal sliced through the beam with his darkened tail, managing to deflect most of the force. "Now, attack!" Seviper hissed loudly, diving under the water before leaping out again, doing a front-flip and hitting the Frillish hard with his tail, red orbs pinging off and into the water.

The little eevee nodded to himself as the glow of power started to fade away, though the pulse of it still stuck with his battle friends. It was too bad that helping hand didn't help him too, but as long as he helped someone, he was proud of himself. So he took a moment, shaking a bit more water from his fur, then turned back to look at the woman who had instructed the previous attack. His ear perked in her direction, and he watched her impatiently, waiting while his companions attacked.
After forever, no it was only a few seconds but it was forever!, he huffed and flicked his tail in Lesa's direction. "Eee?"
The breeder chuckled. She was trying to figure out what moves this little one might know. Of course, it was then that she remembered the glowing blue bubbles that had surrounded him before. She recognized the configuration, but not the color.
"Well, let's try that hidden power you used before okay?"
[RESULT: 8]
The eevee bristled and nodded, happy to finally be able to jump into action. He began to glow once more, the glow moving and rippling, forming into the blue balls, and a surge of power was sent forth. One of the balls collided with the weakened male frillish, knocking it back. It did not get up.
The other one smacked into the pink frillish, doing quite a bit of damage to it as well.
