Roha was waiting outside the Pokemon lab early. The sun had barely come up. He knew he was up insanely early, but he loved watching the world wake up. All the calls of the Pokemon were soothing to him.


Nonetheless, he was very giddy. Today he'd be starting an entirely new journey! He missed his Girafarig, but he knew it was for the best. Farina had gotten old and deserved her rest. This was all about a new beginning.

Professor Conifer quickly opened the door and quickly ushered him inside, a smile on her face. She led him to the back room where the pokemon resided and stepped back.

"Breeders get two, take your pick. The mystery pokemon are permanent, so choose wisely." She said, stepping back to let him choose.

Roha carefully conisdered his options. His eye was caught by the Tepig. It would have seemed like a very unpopular pokemon, but that just made him love the little fire pokemon even more. He could see greatness in this Pokemon

He smiled brightly and lifted up the Tepig, snuggling it close. "I'll take this Tepig and a mystery ball." He then set his new partner down and grabbed the mystery ball. He pressed the button in the center and awaited his second companion.

From the light emerged a small blue spotted pokemon, her nose quivering curiously as she looked around. "Aw, cute!" the Professor exclaimed, bending down to get a look at her. However, the Nidoran was having none of that, and hissed, standing in front of Tepig and scratching the ground. Well... that was certainly that! Standing back up, the woman chuckled and looked to Roha. "Time to choose your equipment.
