Thank you Sneer. Ok, so I KNOW that I warned you guys not to freak out cuz of the spoilers in the meowth newspost, but honestly, I thought I would see MORE of a discussion in that thread. I`m kinda sad that I didn't. Unlike Sneer though, I`m not angry about it. However, I WILL be angry if I do not see posts in THIS thread, because it is VERY important. When you have read ALL of this thread, type the key phrase in a post, which is located later in my post here, though it will be hidden. You`ll see it if you read.
Our first regular contest will begin tomorrow OOC time at 12:30 PM Varaia Time. Right now, there is a prep thread for the contest where you will sign up. Right now it is closed, but at Midnight tonight, I will open the thread and you will sign up. To sign up, You will need to make an IN CHARACTER POST with your Coordinators name clearly marked *the character/s that is/are entering MUST have their names bolded * and going up to the counter in the contest hall. Signups will close at 12:20 PM, at which point I will post as Nurse Joy accepting all entries that made it BEFORE signups closed.
You will then have 10 minutes to get ready and think of an appeal. Remember, you are limited to THREE moves in your appeal, so think carefully.
The key phrase is: The Gustella Ribbon will be mine!
If you are still confused as to how a VICTORYSEEKERS contest works, then please read THIS THREAD in its entirety. A VICTORYSEEKERS contest is the same as an ANIME contest, and is not at all like its handheld game counterpart. There is no "Beauty/Smart/Cool/Tough/Cute" division. The theme is WHATEVER your style is. You may also read the thread where Celeste won her first ribbon Here so that you can see how it works.
Again, Signups will take place in THIS THREAD at Midnight tonight, and will close at 12:20 PM tomorrow. This is VARAIA TIME, so keep an eye on the clock at the top of the page.

If you only have 2 pokemon, make arrangements with your traveling partners to use THEIR pokemon. It is totally up to them if they want to loan you a pokemon or two, but you will make a much better impression on the judges if you use different pokemon for both rounds. If you are going to borrow a companions pokemon, use that pokemon in the BATTLE round, for your characters DID NOT have enough time to come up with a combination with an unfamiliar pokemon for the appeal round. Use your own pokemon to make an appeal.
Thanks guys, and while I cannot stress enough that I want you to read this thread and the info I linked you guys to, I want you to remember the most important thing: Have fun! Contests are a blast to watch, read and write, and I don't want you to stress out beyond "was my appeal good enough? Will I make it to the second round?".
Don't make me smack you guys. Just follow the rules and you will be fine, otherwise I have a leaf blade ready to go just for you!
