It was early morning and Cora was already up, in fact she had a hard time getting to sleep the previous night. It was time to get her very first Pokemon and start on a journey! Cora could not stop smiling, she made her way out of her house and started to make her way to Professor Conifer's lab. " After all these years of standing on the side lines and watching new trainers get their own Pokemon is my turn now! I can't wait to see what Pokemon I may get!" Cora said exaltedly as she started to run. After a few minutes she came to the lab and stopped infront of its doors. The very same doors she had been waiting to enter her whole life. Taking a deep breath Cora stepped forward and the doors opened, when inside she stopped and looked around. " Hello? Professor Conifer?" Cora called out not sure if she was here or not.

The Professor had pretty much just woken up, actually, and was walking around in a wrinkled lab coat when the girl called out for her. Completely shocked and frantic to find something neater, the woman rushed around her lab, throwing a crisp white trenchcoat over her clothes before walking up to Cora. Odd, really... wasn't like the Professor was naked or anything. Was her lab coat that important?
"Morning, dear. Ready to get your pokemon?" she asked, yawning a bit and motioning to the starters that had already been released in the mayhem.

Cora gave a sheepish smile when it seemed she had caught Professor Conifer off guard. " I'm sorry Professor, did I come to early?" Cora said with a nervous laugh. When the Professor asked of she was ready to choose her pokemon Cora smiled widely and nodded. " I sure am! I have been waiting years for this! Cora said happily and started to look at all the pokemon that where in the lab. Aww ,man! They where all just so cute! How could she just choose just one? As she looked at all them a few times her eyes rested on the Charmander. A pokemon like that would be cool to have, and its last stange was soo cool!! " Man they are all just so cute, I wish I could take them all. But I can only choose one and that will be the Charmander please." Cora said with a smile pointing at the small Charmander.

Shaking her head, Professor Conifer laughed. "Naw, I just wasn't prepared to see anyone this soon. I'm usually up far before now, just... not quite visitor worthy. Takes me a few hours to get geared up for the day, you know!" She continued to smile at the aspiring trainer, sighing a breath of relief when she picked one of the already there starters. "You don't know how much trouble you saved me. Those mystery pokemon require lots of effort to... er... summon. Yes." She sort of facepalmed then, not really expecting the girl to understand as she pointed to some equipment nearby.
"Go ahead and pick your things, Cora, and good luck on your journey!"

Cora smiled as she looked at gear she could choose from, for the bag she picked the first one with three pockets in the front with one sling. She then picked the orange pokedex, oh yes she would be using this a lot~ She then started to put the items in her beg when Charmader ran up to her knew trainer and hugged her leg. " Charmader char!!" the little fire type said happily. Cora laughed and petted her. " Hm.. What to name you.. Oh I know! Adara! That's a cute name for a cutie like you." The new named Adara looked up smiling at her new name, liking it very much. " Char char!" Adara said happily.
Cora giggled as she put everything away and looked back at Professor Conifer as she slug her beg over her shoulders. " Thank you see much Professor Conifer, I will do my very best to a great Pokemon trainer." Cora said confidently.
