The sky was bright, cheery, and very soothing, that much was true as the sound of footsteps made the presence of a peculiar girl known.
Shy, and easily bewildered, Etherea Aureos was used to life in Tsuna, but Dust town was diferent to her in a fashion that would remind her of home, and of wanting to live her life the way she would have done. But this was important, It required her attention as she made her way cautiously to Professor Conifer's lab, and made sure to keep her emberassment to a minimum today.
when she was at the front door, she knocked on the door, then entered , her curiosity piqued at the many books on pokemon in the room as well as the research notes. She took a deep breath and exhaled a sigh of relief that she would be calmed down for the moment.
"Hello... I have come to start on my journey today." Etherea said as calmly as she could, hiding the fact that she was very curious about what she would choose.

"Come to the back please," Professor Conifer's voice called from the back of the lab. There, she stood beside a small pen of Pokemon playing together. "Glad to see you could make it. As you can see, these are the Pokemon we have for you to choose from. There's also these three mystery balls if you choose to take one of them, but I should warn you that I don't know what's inside them and there is no returning the Pokemon inside. Trainers and racers get one Pokemon, while coordinators and breeders get two." |

Etherea walked into the back room, her curiosity replaced by awe as sge saw the pokemon in the pen, but her attention was more focused on the mystery balls, abd being the breeder she was, she couldn't help but feel happy at the cuteness in the room.
Her eyes darted between the six pokemon in the pen and the three mystery balls, an analytical glance would tell her all she needed to know as she focused one eye on the pokemon in the pen, and the other on the mystery balls, making her mind up rather rationally so that she may proceed.
she calmly reached one hand out and placed it on a mystery ball, feeling a warmth that she understood, picking up the rightmost mystery ball, and firmly gripping it in one hand, she knealt down to look at the pokemon in the pen and placed her hand gently on the mudkip, petting it. The Mudkip was then picked up by Etherea, who then placed it on her shoulder.
"I'll happily enjoy taking a mudkip and whatever is inside this pokeball in my hand, that way I can understand them better in my quest to be the top breeder." Etherea saidwondering what could be within the pokeball she had took into her hands, the mudkip was also curious as well, wondering what could be within the pokeball.

The Mudkip smiled wide as she was picked up, let out a loud shriek as she leaped off Etherea's shoulder, landing on a nearby table and knocking several books off. Turning back towards her new trainer, she began squeaking happily as she ran about, knocking over everything she could until Professor Conifer grabbed her. "This one seems a little...active," she said as Mudkip continued trying to break free. Meanwhile, Etherea's pokeball began to shake as a Bidoof popped out. Staring up at her, he scoffed and turned away from her, his tail hitting her foot as he did. "Right, since you have your Pokemon now, take one of these bags. They come with a pack full of supplies you may need later," Conifer said, continuing to hold tight to Mudkip, who had begun sucking on her hands. Etherea was glad for making a good selection and happily placed the bidoof in its pokeball, then took her mudkip and placed it on her shoulder again then took a bag, several of the items, and a black pokedex, and gave a very kind nod. "I think I'll name the Mudkip Jenna, and the Bidoof will be named as Bass." Etherea said in a calm voice, taking an empty pokeball and placing her mudkip within it. then walked out of the lab with her things and pokemon in tow.
