A Cool Breeze in the Plains Away

[Anima Everhart]

It was back to Route 801 for Sylvia, Anima, and their group of Pokemon. Following Anima was her usual group: Damon, Cenric and Kari. She would of had Allen by her side as well, but...He wasn't exactly easy moving on land... "Well, today seems rather nice." Anima said to the Sylvia.

For Anima the weather was perfect, there was a cold front today, a rather nice one at that. Anima loved the cold, to bad it didn't look like it would snow. That was one of her favorite weather. She loved to see the flakes fly around.

[Sylvia]

"Alright Leonard, you're up. It's time to see what you got you little man." Sylvia scratched the Abra's head, who was sleeping soundly in her arms. "I wonder what we'll encounter for you!" But suddenly, she remembered. "Oh, yes! I need to give you the Growth Scarf." She took out the Scarf and put it around his neck. "It looks mighty handsome on you little guy."

[Anima Everhart]

Suddenly yelling could be heard through out the route as two brothers fought one another. "My Pokemon are much better then yours!" "No, mine are better, their fighting stills are much more superior then your Pokemon's!" They yelled at each other. Suddenly they noticed Anima and Sylvia.

"I got it! Lets have them decide who's the better fighter!" Berk told his brother, taking out one of his Pokeballs. "Ya!" Ken took out his Pokeball as well and the two sent out their Pokemon.

"Oh! Would you look at that cute Machop! Let's freeze it up with an Ice Punch, Leonard!" Leonard, nodded, getting up and walking slowly to the foe, holding it's arm back as it does. He knew it would probably just move out of the way, but that was his plan. He disappeared suddenly, appearing behind the opponent, an ice covered fist in the makings. He shot it forward and hits the Machop upside the back of it's head, making it fly forward and into the ground. Leonard chuckled and teleported back to his master.

Sylvia went to battle the Machop, leaving Anima with the Mankey. Seeing this, Anima was about to call out one of her Pokemon wen Cenric stopped her. He wanted to battle this one, something about this Pokemon, Cenric did not like. He wasn't sure what it was, but he felt that most of the other's would not do well against him...He would not let his team get hurt for what ever this darkness Cenric feels from the Mankey.

"Hm...Alright, Cenric, if you wish to battle this one, that's fine, but first..." Anima walked over to Kari and took off the scarf. "Something tells me you won't need this anymore." Anima then reached and grabbed Ileana's Pokeball, releasing the pig from her contents. "Good, morning princess." She told the Spoink, who did not seem too pleased about being sent out randomly. "Calm, down, I just wanted to give you this scarf." Anima explained and tied the scarf around Ileana. "We're ready now, Cenric, use Water gun!"

The Machop was not too happy with the sudden hit from the Psychic type, he didn't like psychic types, them and thinking brains over brawns. Strength was just as important! Out of sheer spite, the Machop attacked with his bullet punch.

[Sylvia]

Leonard needed no command from his trainer, he knew what to do. Teleporting in front of the Machop, he had charged a light Ice Punch, why let it go so early? It needed to learn that brains can be just as powerful as brawn. He punched him in the stomach and again, teleported back to his trainer.

Mankey suddenly went ape on the opponent, showering him in a wave of scratches and whining. It was obvious it didn't listen to it's trainer much.

This monkey was crazy! He suddenly began scratching at Cenric. "Cenric, attack back with a tackle!" Anima told Cenric, who nodded and began to tackle the Mankey. It wasn't smart to battle these Pokemon, nor their evolution, but sometimes it just had to be done.

Just as his brother's Pokemon, the machop began to attack, not listening to his trainer as well. It was then that Ken remembered something, neither he nor his brother actually trained the Mankey or Machop yet... Opps.

[Sylvia]

Oh, will you look at that. He's not even trained. Whatever. Leonard appeared directly behind the opponent, hitting it right in the back, large shards of ice on his fist just barely pierce the hard skin, making it scream in pain before falling to the floor. One down, two to go.

The Mankey was still on a rampage! it continued to slash the opponent, only hitting it's stomach this time, hitting itself on the little shell.

Cenric was not to happy, not at all. That Mankey scratched his shell...How dare he? Cenric grabbed his scratched shell hand hit the Mankey on the head with it. Not really an attack, but it'll teach that Pokemon not to scratch up one of his precious treasures...

Well...It was probably obvious that those two Pokemon would go down easily, they were not very well trained Pokemon, unlike their others. With high hopes they sent out their next Pokemon.

"Oh, will THIS one be trained?" Leonard was already moving, slowly of course, it's little hands being completely covered in ice. Of course, it wasn't actually there anymore in a blink of the eye, it was over the Croagunk, both fists up. It bared them down onto it, sending it to the ground. It teleported back, floating midair over his trainer.

Ileana wasn't sure why, but she actually felt like battling this time, so that's just what she did, she literally sprung into action, attacking with her extrasensory attack.

The Crogunk shuddered as she felt the pain from the ice attack, she loved it... She smirked and attacked with a astonish attack. This abra looked fun.~

"It's okay Leo, I know you can handle it!" But Leonard was getting tired, he attempted to run to the pokemon and punch him, but all it did was hit it, no ice even on it's hand. It immediately jumped back, regretting it's decision.

Riolu didn't care for her trainer, she ran up to Ileana and rammed into it, only for it to catch her mid quick attack. Crud. Didn't do a thing.

[Anima Everhart]

Ileana decided to try something new this time, summoning up more power then usual, Ileana shot out her psychic power in a beam like manor. However, the attack did not do as much, causing Ileana to snort and annoyance.

The Croagunk was sad to see Leonard do next to nothing this time, she liked his hits. She dug her hand into the ground and pulled out some mud. They say mud baths are lovely, she would know. Would this help him? Croagunk slapped the mud in Leonard's face powerfully. There, maybe now he would be all better.~

"Leo, come here." Sylvia pulled out a Oran berry, Leonard took it gratefully, swallowing it whole and began staring down the opponent.

Again, ignoring her master again, she lunged, foot ablaze, she crashed into the opponent, sending fire onto Ileana. Not much though.

Ileana decided to attack agian with her Psywave, she needed to practice it anyway, summoning up her power, she attacked again with a beam of psychic energy, still not doing much damage, but at least it was a little more then the first time using Psywave.

"Croagunk! Stop playing with your food! He's broken, so attack already!" Ken shouted to his Pokemon, she loved to play with her Pokemon before actually battling and this did get annoying sometimes, she could of defeated him, but instead she let him heal up.

The Croagunk did not change her reaction, but gave a simple croak and attacked with a Bullet Punch
