As Amy walked into Gustella, she looked down fondly at her Natu, who was currently sleeping peacefully with a bottle in her mouth. "Moltres, just fly around a bit until we call for you," she told the legendary, who gave a short nod of her head.
Very well. I'll be keeping an eye on you though, she said, flying up high and beginning to circle the city as Amy turned to her partner.
"Are you feeling okay? You need to rest or anything?"

Alan looked at Amy for a moment before looking as the Mol'tres flew up high into the sky. He didn't need to rest yet. He had been forced to sleep by that song. His Pokemon were out of it.
"I don't need to rest at all. I believe I need to find the Pokemon Center first, get my Pokemon rested, see about whether I want to store away some of my Pokemon, and then start finding ways to train up my Pokemon before I take on the gym. I have to be prepared after all" he replied coolly.
Alan knew that much but he was hoping to check to see if he got any messages from his foster parents. Not that they would contact him at all.

"Um...Right. The Pokemon Center is this way I think," Amy said, looking around as Natu opened her eyes sleepily and looked at Alan. "Oh god, you're awake. Say hi to our new friend," Amy told the ball-shaped Pokemon, but she just laid there staring at Alan, tilting herself to the side curiously without saying anything. "I'm really sorry, she doesn't really like strangers is all. She'll warm up to you eventually."

Alan looked at the weird, mostly green bird Pokemon. That one was Natu if he wasn’t mistaken. It was both a psychic type and a flying type.
“I noticed” he replied flatly to her comment about the Natu.
Alan stretched out his arms, feeling a little bit excited, but not so much with what he had on hand. That’s why he had decided to go to the Pokemon Center first.
“So, I’m off for the Pokemon Center. You can come along with if you want” he said coolly to Amy. “Just don’t slow me down, alright.”
He turned around and walked in the direction that Amy had pointed at, he hoped that what she thought was right was right, or there would be more time wasted.

"Coming," Amy said, rocking Natu in her arms in the hopes that she would go back to sleep. Before long, the green Pokemon's eyes closed slowly and she was snoozing away again. "There we go," Amy said, taking the bottle out of Natu's mouth and putting it back in her bag.
"How long do you want to stay here? It may be good for Natu to spend some time here. This is where I got her egg," Amy said as she continued rocking her Pokemon.

Alan wasn’t really sure himself of how long he would stay here but Amy had asked him a question. He might as well answer her. He turned to look at her. She had been caring for that Natu. She did seem to be a good person from her behavior and well she treated her Pokemon well. He did admire that trait as he saw that much in himself. At least, he had gotten a companion who wasn’t a fellow trainer.
“I plan on staying only as long as I need to. It might take only a few hours or a few days. Probably it’s going to take a few days at the least” he replied curtly. “I have to train my Pokemon after all if I’m going to take on the gym leader, Wendy.”
He didn’t talk after that as he continued to walk forward. He saw something that was peculiar but didn’t really bother to check it. He eventually looked as he passed by a pathway to see the Pokemon Center, over in that direction.
“There it is” he said as he sped up his pace.

"Oh good, we're finally here," Amy said, shaking Natu gently, waking the baby Pokemon. "Come on sweetheart, we're here now," she said as a small Weedle waddled along in front of them, curiously taking in the sights of the city and feeling strangely as though he were being watched. In a flash, Natu leaped down and began to chase the Weedle, more out of curiosity herself then anything else. "Natu! No! Bad Pokemon!" Amy said, scooping up the Weedle. Examining it closer, she saw that it looked hurt. "Poor thing. Let's get you inside."

Alan didn’t pay too much attention to the new Pokemon that Amy scooped up to take into the Center. He had only heard her say something about Natu being a bad Pokemon, probably scolding it. The Natu probably tried to do something with that bug Pokemon. He had looked at it more than enough to identify what it was. It was the bug-Pokemon, Weedle. There was no mistaking the stinger that it had and its usual body coloration. He walked into the center.
He looked the place as he did so. This was the lounge, slash main area, where others waited for Pokemon to be treated. There were others there, they were hanging about on the couches around the table, but that wasn’t important right now. He had things to do here and so the first important thing to do was check on if there was anything in the PC for him. Then he would get his Pokemon treated. He started to walk over to the PC.

As Alan went to check the PC, Amy carried the Weedle and the rest of her Pokemon to the front counter. "Excuse me, I found this Pokemon outside. I think he might have been separated from his trainer," she said, holding the Weedle up to Nurse Joy. With a kind smile, the nurse took the Bug Pokemon along with Amy's Pokemon. "Did you find anything?" Amy asked, walking over to Alan.

Alan accessed the PC, looking through the stuff there as he registered himself, and found that he had quite a few Pokemon in there already. That was quite odd. He wasn't sure what he was looking at. The first one was an Emolga, the second a Dratini, the third, fourth, and finally the fifth one took him by shock. There were two legendaries stored in his PC and then a mostly white-colored Eevee. What were the odds of that? And why was this Eevee, white? Was it shiny? He thought about this for a moment before he saw that there was a digital note attached to the Mew's pokeball. He clicked on it. The contents popped up and he just stared at the words on the screen.
To Alan Nurmi, I hope you find these Pokemon useful in your journey as the other trainers who had these did. I couldn't stick around long enough to talk to you and so I got permission to leave these within your PC. May fortune shine....
He blinked as he read the note again and then a third time. He had read it slowly this time after the last two times of reading it fast. There was no end to the message. No name at the end to see who it was from. All it had was his name and then it ended abruptly with that “may fortune shine” bit. There was probably a reason for this. He faced the computer and stared at the ending part. It had probably been sent before it could be finished.
He shook his head as he took out the Mew, the Dratini, the Emolga, and the white Eevee. He placed the pokeballs where his others were located before shutting the PC down. He was going to save the Suicune for later. He got off the PC and turned it off. He turned around to face Amy after that.
“Just a note addressed to me and some Pokemon that were left here by someone” he replied coolly. “Nothing too big of a deal. I get more to train and so hopefully they'll be useful down the road.”
He probably needed to heal his Seel and that Houndour first. He walked around Ami and went up the front desk. He gave Seel's pokeball along with Houndour's pokeball over to the nurse and thanked her before walking over to a place where he could sit down.

Going over to sit beside Alan, she looked at the Pokeballs he kept with him. "So, what did you get? Anything that can help you out with the gym?" Amy asked curiously.

Alan was about to say something about it was none of her business but he could just fill her in on the matter. Not that he would tell her everything.
"I got a few Pokemon that could help out. Only one that's going to be of any help but the others should do well once trained up enough. The one that's going to be of help is the electric type that I got. But you'll just have to wait and see what Pokemon I have. I have to train them anyways for them to be any match against the gym leader herself. She goes with flying types if I'm not mistaken. And right now, I don't believe I have any weaknesses to her Pokemon. At least, not to flying types. All that matters is leveling up both my old and new partners just so that they would have a decent chance" Alan replied coolly to Amy, not really caring very much about what she thought. He stared at one of the pokeballs.
That one had Mew in it. This one was surprising to him still. A Mew. He hadn't seen one in his entire life but apparently he got one. How did someone give him a Mew? Why did they give him a Mew? He couldn't really fathom any logical reason for doing so. Mew was a pretty powerful psychic powerhouse legendary. So, why give him it? It didn't really matter much anymore. He had one.
"Training and practice will be needed. So, I guess I should find some trainers. But first, need to collect the Pokemon that I gave to the nurse" Alan said thoughtfully. "You can come along if you want to but I'm going to be scouring this place for trainers."

"I guess that could be interesting. I don't really have much experience with battling other trainers, so this might be a good chance to get some training in," Amy said, thinking the offer over as she spoke. Looking over at the counter, she saw Nurse Joy calling her over. "Oh, my Pokemon," she said, going over to take her Pokemon back and noticing an extra Pokeball. "Um...I'm sorry, but this one isn't mine."
"We weren't able to find the owner of the Weedle you found and he seems to have taken a shine to you. If you don't mind, could you take care of it until we find his owner?" Nurse Joy asked.
"Y-Yeah, sure I can. I mean, I guess so," Amy said, taking her new Pokemon nervously.

Alan looked up to see that the Nurse Joy had returned. He smiled a little as he came up to get his Pokeballs.
“Thanks for healing them for me” he said happily before storing away the Pokeballs where he usually kept them.
He looked over towards Amy.
“If you want to come along then you can. I think I might chance going out to route 801 again to challenge some trainers. I need some practice in a real battle rather than against some wild Pokemon” he stated in a calm fashion with a slight hint of happiness still there in his voice.
Alan was only happy because his Pokemon were fine and that they had been healed up. He would of course allow them to rest before he made them battle again. They were his friends and that he wasn’t a heartless or a careless trainer. If he was going to get anywhere then his Pokemon were more precious to him than anything else. Alan turned around and headed towards the door. He couldn't stand around and wait.
