When he was 14, he received his first pokemon, a Girafarig. They became fast friends and traveled through all of Johto and Kanto together, gathering various pokemon friends. However, once Roha learned of the opportunities in Varaia, he had to say goodbye to his beloved Girafarig. He knew he wasn't allowed to bring his precious Pokemon, but he left him in the care of his Grandparents. He boarded the first ship to Varaia and is heading to Dust Town to start anew.
