Name: Laitos H. Heights Age: 17 Gender: Male Appearance: Personality: The biggest problem with Laitos is that he can't decide who he wants to be and he can't control who he becomes. Four "individuals" live inside the boy, each taking a form of their own and claiming to be the remaining "spirits" of Pokemon, although they are more than likely nothing more than his imagination gone haywire. [KEY: Laitos Pronounced "Lay-tohs"|| Diamos pronounced "Dee-ah-mohs" || Julius pronounced "Joo-lee-us" || Kratos pronounced "Kray-tohs"]
Laitos: The trainer, the guidance, the friend of all friends. This is the true form of Laitos and thus he uses his true name - understanding that there is only one of him and not understanding people when they try to tell him of how he might have behaved "weirdly". He is an artist and a painter at best - thus, he has always aspired to have a Smeargle as his friend and closest companion.
The truest thing to note about Laitos in his "original" personality or "form" is that he, in himself, believes and is entirely the original person he was from the beginning. He is kind and thoughtful as well as sacrificial - although he would never willingly lay his life on the line for someone, he would toss away his dreams and ambitions just to help someone achieve theirs. His life long goal is to become famous through the kinds painting that only having a close bond with a talented Pokemon could bring.
He is too modest and too laid back - he doesn't have a "mean" bone in his body and sometimes lacks the "offensive" in any fight and would rather spend too much time defending himself. Although this is the heart of who he is, it is only not his "dominant" personality as it lost that battle not long ago.
Diamos: In a nutshell, Diamos is an angry and spiteful little boy. He cares nothing about the world other than what can benefit him and what he needs to do in order to ensure that he strives and achieves to attain the most in this world. He isn't evil and he doesn't go out of his way to hurt anyone, rather he is just angry and lashes out easily.
He is stubborn as well as selfish. Not only is he always right but he is always sure about everything - even if he knows nothing at all. Almost the spitting opposite of Laitos, he strives to make sure that the world knows to bow down at his feet and worship him, or to quieten their mouths down and look the other way as he passes through. He does - he won't - stop or change himself for anyone and he likes to believe that "love" is literally only a four letter word that cannot affect him. This is the least used personality of Laitos, though.
Julius: There's not much to say about Julius because he doesn't speak. Although his body isn't physically mute itself, he acts and tends to believe that he is mute. While he is "Julius" is doesn't speak at all, instead he listens intently and nods silently to get his words across.
The main problem with Julius is that he can't connect and he is always aloof with people and even with the creatures around him. He's apathetic about everything - even himself and even if he's in pain. On the inside he can feel at the very basic, minimalist level...but he actually strives not to feel anything. Luckily, this is only the third most used, or almost the least use, personality of Laitos.
Kratos: The priest, preacher, saint, and savior. Kratos is almost God himself, deemed so and put on Earth. He is Arceus in human formed, clothed only and lacking in powers only to show humanity by his own hands just what it is they have done. He wants nothing more than an Arceus as a companion, for only they know truly what it is he refers to. Sadly, he is the most adamantly and noticeable personality of Laitos's, and no one is quite sure why it has dominated over the other three.
He claims that it is because he is truly Arceus, only in human form, as to why it is that he can take over whenever he feels. More over, he also claims that he never truly gets "taken over", he only relinquishes his hold on the body for a small period of time and returns to it as he feels. He finds those that have sinned or that are sinning and preaches to them heavily, promising only that Arceus is watching from the heavens and is ready to smite them down at any second. He is an aspiring philosopher and bases all other Pokemon on their intelligence only - if they cannot hold their own in a conversation with him, then he wants nothing more to do with them.
He is, still, kind and caring although he is judgmental. If you at least try your hardest to conform yourself appropriately, he will take you in and "father" you, mentoring and protecting you only as far as he deems appropriate. He is very willing to accept very young or "baby" Pokemon in under his wings if for no other reasons than to tap into their mind - he knows that the brain, like the rest of their body, is still developing. He hopes to use this to be able to "paste" into their memory his thoughts and his "righteous" beliefs. Trainer Class: Trainer Hometown: Torrentia City History: Laitos has a very loving home, surrounded by caring parents that only wanted what was best for him. Unfortunately, as soon as he turned 10 all he did was speak of Pokemon and how he wanted to be a Trainer - his parents agreed that he could have a pet but they finally decided that he could not leave his house until he was at least 18 years old. They really preferred for him to become a doctor, like his father was, and tried to convey this to him.
Laitos adopted a small Lotad that was spotted frequenting their pool in their backyard. Although the Lotad was tons of fun and caused the little boy to laugh hysterically everyday that he hung out with him, it wasn't enough. He used to fantasize about collecting different Pokemon, and when he was 12 he ran to his mother releasing a fake Dragonite from it's pretend Pokeball. His parents applauded his for his imagination but they also worried tremendously.
After three years in and out of hospitals as the nurses and the doctors tried to figure out what was wrong, no one could give them a viable answer. His diagnosis was changed several times, and he was switched from one medication to the next repeatedly. His parents relented and told him that he should begin his career as a Pokemon Trainer. Excited, he thanked them over and over, prepared for his long journey. At that moment they finally managed to break through the barrier to Laitos - luckily - and hoped that this "journey" would be what was needed to turn their little baby back around.
