Hello, my name is Nick Currently, I am 17 Obviously, I am a Male My home town is Thundera City What I really want to be is a Trainer IMAGE URL[*/IMG] Nick has short dark red hair. His hair color combined with his personality often makes it easy for someone to make a joke about him. His eyes are a light shade of green. Much like the color of the hair atop his head, his eyebrows are dark red but a bit bushy as well. He stands at 5’5, on the short end for his age. He isn’t very muscular, having a much leaner build. To top it all off, Nick has freckles across his face. As far as clothes go, he tends to wear layers. In winter it can be a thick long sleeved shirt with a jacket. By spring or fall, it’s typically a short sleeved shirt with a long sleeved shirt over it. When it’s summer time, he’ll throw on a vest over his short sleeved shirt that will have various pockets on it just so it looks like it will have a purpose. He will almost always have jeans on. He does not like the feeling of walking in tall grass with shorts. The kind of coloring he will wear is either dark or neutral colors. Perhaps it is a subconscious attempt at trying not to stand out too much, but it just makes his red hair and green eyes stand out that much more. This is how I am, take it or leave it! What’s obvious about Nick’s personality is he’s excitable. It doesn’t take much to rile him up, in a good way or a bad way. He’s quick to react and doesn’t really think before he does. This also means he typically doesn’t think before he speaks either. In a way, this makes Nick a pretty honest, straight forward person though, if not a little too blunt when he speaks his mind. Going hand in hand with this, he has energy to spare. He’s always energetic, running from one place to another and probably flailing about while ranting and raving over something. One wonders where he gets this source of energy from. Nick’s goals seem to change almost as often as he changes socks, which can be quite often on a rainy day. He really doesn’t like wearing soggy socks. It’s a pet peeve of his. One moment he wants to be a gym leader with a certain type of pokemon. The next, he wants to be something completely off the wall like a traveling entertainer who juggles pokemon. Some would say he has a serious attention disorder, because he certainly doesn’t have much of an attention span. One thing is for certain, he wants to be the best at whatever he’s wanting to do at the time. The story of how I came to be. Nick was raised in Thundera City. Perhaps this explains his personality, as he has heard other say he comes off as someone who is from Thundera City. The futuristic set up, the reliance on electricity and the renovations and innovations that come with new ways to harness and use it seemed to affect Nick’s attitude at an early start. His parents were never pokemon trainers, breeders, or coordinators, but Nick was raised around pokemon all the same. His mom worked at the pokemon center and Nick was often found there at any given time. Due to the pokemon center’s set up, not only did Nick get to see plenty of pokemon go in and out of the center, but he saw trainers checked up on there as well. It got him a nice inside look at a life with pokemon and inspired Nick to have that kind of life in some form or another. Nick started to develop a weird hobby at this point. He’d start following trainers from the pokemon center, just to watch them and see what they were all about. It never crossed his mind that it may be considered stalking. Typically he’d follow them to the gym and watch their gym battles with electric pokemon. On occasion, however, he’d follow them down Route 807, though not too far. He knew the route to be dangerous and never went too far from Thundera City anyway. But it was enough to totally convince him he wanted this kind of life. He wanted to travel and battle. Typically Nick’s goals and dreams changed too often, but there was one goal that wouldn’t change. He wanted to challenge Thundera City Gym like all the other trainers he saw. He saw many of them fail, but some of them succeed as well. He wanted to be one of those that succeeded. He decided he had to convince his parents to let him go off on a pokemon journey on his own. He knew it’d be difficult. His mom worked at the pokemon center and she knew how tough being a trainer could be. She already expressed it was a life she didn’t want for her son. Of course, what mom said went in his household and his father simply agreed. It took him a few years of convincing, but he finally wore both his parents down with his persistence and he was allowed to leave on his pokemon adventure, making his first stop Dust Town. |
