Hello, my name is Brick Ofeer Currently, I am 36 Obviously, I am a Male My home town is Viridian City, Kanto What I really want to be is a Trainer IMAGE URL[*/IMG] Brick is a rather big man. He stands at 6’7 and weighs 280 lbs. There is no fat on this man, however, and his build is that of an athlete with broad shoulders and a muscular frame to emphasize the point. His hair is short but dark blonde with matching thick eyebrows. He usually keeps a 5 O’clock shadow when it comes to facial hair. It starts from the sides of his face, covering his cheeks and jaw line then going around his mouth and finally dipping under his chin. Very rarely has he been seen with a beard. When he is clean shaven, however, it is often quite a surprise if he is seen this way in public. Brick has dark green eyes and often has what many would consider a “piercing” gaze. He tends to look rather intimidating as the gaze is accompanied by his thick arms being folded across his chest. He is almost always seen wearing the Team Necro colors. Though even outside his uniform, he’ll usually be caught in dark jeans and a black shirt. This is how I am, take it or leave it! Brick has earned the nickname “Coach” by his stern demeanour with a gruff voice that often gives commands for his charges on how they should better themselves. Some students have a tendancy to call him “Coach B”, which has stuck over time. Being the age that he is, Brick has let his experience affect how he teaches and how he works within Team Necro, often advising those that will listen while at the same time giving an opinion whether it be asked or not, furthering this “Coach” mentality. Brick’s voice always sounds gruff…or rough…or harsh. Whether he’s actually being this way can be hard to tell and often times his encouragement can be misinterpreted for being overly critical. Unless you know Brick, you may not assume he actually wants the best for his young charges. He just demands they learn to be the best now rather than later. Brick can have a very no-nonsense attitude and doesn’t tolerate much. Getting on his bad side, however, is just as easy as getting off of it. The story of how I came to be. In his younger days, Brick was a trainer that traveled the world. He didn’t start as many pokemon trainers did in Kanto, however. He never visited Oak’s lab and never needed to. A kindly old man showed him how to catch pokemon. The kindly old man lived in Viridian City and often showed many a new trainer starting out how to catch them. Brick had no Pokemon of his own, but the old man took him to a place just outside of town. It was there that the old man caught a male Nidoran for the boy’s entertainment. However, seeing how much the boy was ogling the pokeball with the pokemon inside, he gave it to Brick. The lad spent much of his time in Viridian Forest, after that event, and began training his Nidoran. When the Nidoran evolved into Nidorino, he decided it was time to leave Viridian City and make his way through the forest to Pewter city to challenge his first gym. Over time, Brick left Kanto after challenging all the gyms. He began traveling the world, but not necessarily to challenge other gyms. By the time he left Kanto, his Nidorino was a Nidoking, thanks to a moon stone he found at Mt. Moon. Over the years and throughout his travels, Brick went to places in Johto, Hoenn and beyond before returning to Kanto yet again. It was at this time that Team Rocket was making a nuisance of themselves and Brick vowed to put a stop to them. However, he and Nidoking were defeated in battle. Brick’s Nidoking was battling a Rhydon that ran him through multiple times with Horn Drill and was killed in battle. Brick took the loss heavily and took to traveling the world again before he eventually found himself in the Varaia region. Eventually he ran into the likes of Team Necro and made him an offer he just couldn’t refuse. By joining them, he could be reunited with his Nidoking. Even though Team Necro reminded him of the reason he had lost his Nidoking, he couldn’t pass up the opportunity and the goals and aspirations of Team Necro looked genuinely different. To reunite everyone with their beloved Pokemon? How many others lost their Pokemon because of some maniac? Brick could play a part in rectifying those mistakes. Not long after joining them, Brick became a teacher at the Academy to train new members of Team Necro with a ghost pokemon now at his side named Gengar. |
