Hello, my name is Jace Currently, I am 17 Obviously, I am a Male My home town is Gustella Town What I really want to be is a Trainer IMAGE URL[*/IMG] Jace stands at 5’8, not having fully grown yet. He has short black hair, though his bangs are long. He has green eyes with eyebrows the same color as his hair. He is typically found wearing grey dress pants, a nice pair of black boots, a white button up shirt and a silver colored vest. When it’s cool enough, he’ll often wear a grey coat as well. He often wears nice clothes, preferring them over anything else. This is how I am, take it or leave it! At such a young age, Jace has developed an ego and comes off as arrogant. Jace is never lacking in confidence and always sure of himself. Many would say he’s overconfident, and that’s likely the case. Just look at his nickname, for example. He believes himself to be the best. Of course if ever he should be beaten, he would likely go into some sort of denial being unable to believe he lost and likely find somewhere, someone, or something else to shift the blame to. This certainly makes him a sore loser. The story of how I came to be. Jace grew up in the small town of Gustella Town. Family life was well and good. Jace was the son of one of the most well off families of the Town that preferred a small, quiet place as opposed to a big city. As such, the mansion they lived in was on the outskirts of town with plenty of property for Jace to play on. However, the boy’s parents often traveled and attended parties from other wealthy families, despite their love for a quieter place to live. This often left Nick in the care of the family butler. However, Nick had an older sister who would take him out into their rather large garden behind the mansion and play games such as hide and seek with him. With a five year difference between them, his older sister became like his nanny, always taking care of him. Sometimes when they would play in the garden, they would encounter wild pokemon. Most of them wouldn’t go near the human pair and run off, but there was the occasional one or two that would play along with them. The interaction with the pokemon in the garden inspired Jace’s older sister to become a pokemon breeder. When Nick was 10, his sister left for Dust Town to get her start as a pokemon breeder. Jace began missing her the moment he watched her fade in the distance down the road that led from their house to Gustella Town. However, it wasn’t long before she returned. After a few days, she was back in Gustella Town and Jace was excited to hear she back. When his sister returned to the mansion, she had two pokemon with her. One was a Growlithe and the other was a Shinx. For the first couple of years, his sister wouldn’t travel too far for too long and was around the mansion often. During this time, she let Jace play with her pokemon whenever he wanted. The boy grew up to love pokemon. When he turned twelve, his sister gave him a gift. It was a pokemon egg. As a pokemon breeder, she was very familiar with them. However, she left instructions with Jace on how to take care of it and gave him an empty pokeball as well. She wouldn’t tell him what was in the egg, only that he’d have to wait and find out. Unfortunantly, it wasn’t long before his sister started coming around less and less and eventually stopped visiting at all. She would still keep in contact with the occasional letter and apologize for her absence all the time, but this would lead her younger brother down a path of bitterness which has led to his current attitude. However, he was quite surprised to find that the egg he was given contained a Houndour. Not long after it hatched, Jace used the pokeball on his Houndour so he could keep him around. Though the Houndour was rarely left in his pokeball. During the next few years with Houndour, he began battling with any wild pokemon that’d come into the garden, using the opportunity for Houndour to grow more powerful. Jace got the nickname Ace mostly because he heavily insisted on being called so over the past couple of years. It started out as a sarcastic response to his insistence, but eventually it stuck. Jace had plans to challenge the local gym, but he has insisted that he needs more battles with Houndour to do so and always puts it off. |
