"Let go of me right now, you stupid bird!" Xylia yelled at her captor, squirming around in his grasp, the Giant Skarmory had been growing tired of this Cottonee's attitude, It hadn't even been 5 minutes and he already was tempted to throw her out and go for a different kind of prey.
"Are you frickin' deaf, robot chicken? Let go right now!" Xylia began hitting the over-sized Skarmory in her attempt to get free of his grasp. That was the last straw for the bird, he was tired of dealing with the Cottonee. He threw his pray and continued flying, looking for better prey to catch.
Xylia floated to the ground gently and faced where the Skarmory flew off. "Ya, thanks for dropping me off! Stupid bird..." She grumbled and looked around to see her surroundings so she could figure out where she was and where her friends might be.
'Hm...Well this isn't any good, the stupid pile of scrap metal dropped me too far away from the group...Looks like I have to go find them' Xylia began to float in the opposite direction of the giant Skarmory, in hopes of finding someone.

Alas, despite how well he was doing in contests (at least, HE thought he was doing rather well), Vero decided that it was time to backtrack a bit more and do some training. Even though he loved his pokemon, their moves were a bit... stale. He had enough imagination to continue working with them to make astounding appeals, however, he wanted new inspiration - a new palette of colors to work with, per-se. He'd also managed to break away from Roha along the way. Although the loss of a fan and possibly more wasn't too difficult to get over... traveling would still do him well to take his mind off things.
"Oh darling, I can't wait to evolve you! Why I bet you'll be even more elegant than you are now" the coordinator cooed, stroking his Snivy's head fondly as she lay curled around his neck. "You'll have all the boys lined up!" Gypsy turned her nose up and snorted softly. As if she really cared about the boys! All she wanted was more attention, honestly. Vero chuckled and snapped his fingers. "Mmmmhm, that's right sugar. Make sure they work it before--"
Suddenly, the man stopped in his tracks, looking off in a different direction. Oh, was someone out here? Sounded like a girl of some sorts was... in a bit of a mess. Of course, being the nosy person he was, Vero got sidetracked and made his way over to where the Skarmory had just released Xylia, his eyes widening as he listened more closely to the Cottonee's words. She certainly had a mouth on her! He grinned and watched her float for a moment before planting his hands on his hips, whistling directly at the talking pokemon.
"Well aren't you the sweetest little thing" he said, his smile curving mischievously. "You'd be quite the attention-getter if you were to perform in contests! What do you think Gypsy, wouldn't she simply be a star?" The Snivy noticeably frowned and lashed her tail. A female like that, in her trainer's team? No way! She would not allow it. It seemed Vero had already pulled out an empty purple pokeball, though, not knowing that the Cottonee was in fact already owned. "Come with me, and together we'll be famous!" Without further ado, the green-haired man tossed the pokeball at Xylia, hoping she'd be withdrawn inside it.

Xylia floated around, looking for Spirit and Drinyo she caught a strange sound. A whistle? Is someone here? Xylia turned towards the noise to find a guy with a snivy scarf, oh wait that’s snivy’s real. The man talked to her able her being sweet(LOL no) and an attention getter, he wore a mischievous smile as he spoke to her. The Snivy scarf, who the male called Gypsy, however didn’t seem as fond of her. Xylia didn’t know what to make of these two.
Suddenly the man grabbed out a Pokeball. Oh no. And threw it in her direction. Oh HELL no! This did not settle with Xylia, as the Pokeball flew her way, Xylia lifted one of her leaves and slapped the Pokeball away. “What the ****?! You don’t just find some *****, grab your balls and throw them at her! “ Xylia yelled angrily at Vero. “Just who the hell do you think you are? What give you the right to throw that filthy thing in my direction and expect me to be all yours?! Honestly, are you just that Dumb?” Xylia would not tolerate him attacking her with a Pokeball.
After giving Vero a good, Texas-sized earful, Xylia took a second to breath. She used one of her leafy hands to flip some cotton out of her face and glared at Vero.
“I will admit, the idea of fame does charming and being me, I would totally win any performance if I wanted to, I have seen much better humans in my days and much more interesting geckos as well. I have much better things to do then waste my time playing a coordinator’s dream. Now if you don’t mind me, I have to continue looking for my group. If you want.” Xylia floated on top of Vero’s head, giving him a sort of hat.
“You could totally help me find them, Who knows maybe we’ll find some more geckos who would actually want to play with you.”

At first, Vero didn't know what to do. He was almost infuriated that the little pipsqueak denied his attempt at capture, but as Xylia slapped the pokeball away, an odd colored light had also accompanied her leaf. So, she was already owned! Frick. Of course all the good pokemon were already taken around here! But alas, he'd find one eventually that suited his team just fine. Shaking his head, he simply sighed and walked over to pick up his pokeball, shoving it in his bag as the Cottonee went on and on.
"This, darling, is the exact reason I don't date women." Soon the man had arched a brow, one hand on his hip as the other made a mouth, his fingers opening and closing as if it were talking instead of Xylia. Her dramatic cotton-flip had him rolling his eyes along with Gypsy, the grass snake snorting. This was getting annoying. Honestly, hearing such smart talk and having another... unruly attitude around was slightly refreshing, but as soon as the pokemon insulted Gypsy, fire was in his eyes.
"Now listen here sweet-cheeks, Gypsy here could whip your happy arse any day, any time, anywhere. But don't worry, we won't challenge you. We know when a pokemon's bark is bigger than its bite, and you simply aren't a threat to us, honey." Clicking his tongue, the man gave Xylia another very judgmental look, scanning her up and down before his head bobbed to the side. "And you definitely wouldn't be impressive under the spotlight. Must've been the sun in my eyes when I first saw you, giving you an undeserved halo."
The Snivy, as was expected, hissed as the Cottonee perched on Vero's head, swiping her tail before she decided the dual-type really wasn't worth her time. The coordinator huffed, stroking Gypsy's head as he looked around, suddenly stomping off in a random direction. "Good idea - someone needs to put your trainer in line and teach them how to raise their pokemon!" he glowered, simply astounded by Xylia's attitude at the moment.
