Welcome to the New VS!

Hello, everyone! It's been a long time in coming, and certainly a long bit of offline mode for the board, but finally things have been set in motion!

We have a new skin, new board descriptions, new information, new lots of things! Take the time to look around and reacquaint yourself with the place. Things will, hopefully, be quite a bit easier to find, especially in the information sections.

There is currently a forum called 'Revamp Archives'. Any thread that was moved during the transfer is in there, so if you were in the middle of something and can't find it where you left it, just give an Admin the title and we'll move it back.

Some major changes that you NEED to know about:
-- We have implemented the 'seperate accounts' system for each character. Now, I know it can be a pain to log in and out of characters, so if you'll kindly direct your attention to the right. You see just under the clock where it says 'You are currently logged in as ---!'? Well, in those little boxes there, you just have to put in a username and password, and you can easily switch to that account, even if you're logged in to another one. No need to log out or anything!

Now, we've done this for a reason. You might have noticed that there's a missing board. That's right, the Team Necro base has disappeared! Well, no not really. With the separation of characters to their own accounts, we've been able to implement member groups. This means that Team Necro's base will ONLY be viewable by characters that are a part of Team Necro. No more need for a password! Woo!

This also means no more of those pesky character trackers. Separate accounts means there is enough room in signatures to link directly to a character's profile. Yay~

-- We have a new profile template! When you create your character account and go to repost your character using their correct account, please use this new template. Don't worry, the coding may look a bit scary, but it's really not. If you are having issues, please feel free to PM me and I can walk you through it.

-- We are also implementing a new system of keeping track of pokemon. You'll notice below the accepted characters board there's a forum called Notebook. Well in there, there are Updates and Requests thread. From now on, if you get a pokemon, or need a pokemon updated for a character, you post that in the Update forum and an admin will take care of it for you. Also!if you need wilds, you should now post a request in, where else, the request forum!

-- The last major change is that pokemon can now keep six moves, instead of five! Yay! Get to deciding what you want that extra slot to be fille with.


I think that's pretty much it! Feel free to explore, do whatever you like. All the mechanics are the same. Some final tweaks will be made over the next few days, but for the most part, everything is up and functional.

One last suggestion, reacquaint yourself with the rules. Some of them have been tweaked.

After you`ve had a chance to reacquaint yourself with VS and get ALL of your accounts in line. I need you to do us a favor. You`ll need to organize your accounts so that we can start implementing ranks. See below:

Label your OOC account name in this color, 7DB6D0
Label all Victory Seeker account names in this color, 04B486
Labal all Team Necro account names in this color, FA5858

If you don't know which side your characters are on, then they are all Victory Seekers. As a general rule, every character made is a Victory Seeker by default until you sign them up for Team Necro, which is admin-controlled.

Also, after you label your characters, please let me know of any OOC chores you need an admin to do. Have I not given you your Luck Bags yet? Did I not dock your money when you bought them? Things like that. Keep in mind, I will be the one taking care of shop stuff, so be patient. I`m not as fast as my other admins, though I wish I was XD

So again, please label ALL of your characters. If, for some reason you wish to give up a character, put a * next to their name so that I know that 1. You haven't made that character yet and 2. I can put them up for adoption for chitlins who need a place to start.
