"I expected you to go a lot faster, Boo." Zandra muttered to herself, mostly, as she slowly plodded along on the back of Boo, her Bouffalant. Boo, however, seemed very happy and would stop every so often to smell something or to eat a small patch of grass. He was just so hungry! Of course, Boo's speed was the reason that Zandra had ended up with so many pokemon so quickly.
While trying to exit Dust Town, she had been bombarded with people selling and Giving away pokemon. By the time she made it to route 801 she had a Shiny Gible, a Vulpix, a Bulbasaur, and a Axew. She hadn't expect to acquire so many pokemon so quickly, but it did save her the trouble of catching them all herself. Now all she needed was a tarveling partner and she would be -"Boo! Not on the walk way! People are going to step in that!"

Ah, the perils of having a huge family. Cera had left Conifer's lab with her things, and then gotten distracted by a pedestrian plotting to J-walk. She could see it in the man's eyes! So she, as the Jenny that was, had to confront the man. By the time that was over, it had been too late to start going that day, so she'd retired to the center. Where she'd been bombarded by her aunts. By the time she'd managed to escape Dust Town, Cera had collected quite the party of Pokemon, not to mention an egg and a couple of stones. She'd promptly used one on her growlithe, the water stone as odd as that sounded, and now as she left town it was on the back of a Sapphire Arcanine.
"I dunno about you, Buddy, but I am so glad to be out of there. If my aunts had pushed me into any more battles I just might have screamed."
Beneath her, the dog yipped as he ran. There were both silent for a few minutes, enjoying the breeze, when said breeze brought with it a not so pleasant smell. Cera wrinkled her nose, but they pressed on. Around the next bend in the path, they found the source. "Ew, gross!" Cera didn't bother to keep her voice down as she pinched her nose shut and waved the other hand in the air in front of her.
"Buddy, get rid of it!" she demanded, pointing at the offensive pile. The arcanine was glad to oblige, blasting the path with a stream of water.

Zandra turned around at the sound of someone approaching, on what looked like a Blue Arcanine. Well, she hadn't ever since one of those. Maybe it was one of the rare, Varaian Shinnies. She shrugged to herslef.
"Sorry about that,' she called back behind her. "I can't really control Boo all that mu-" "BOO" The Bouffalant interrupted happily as he began to prance in place. Zandra was talking about him! Yay!
Zandra rolled her eyes at the happy-go-lucky Pokemon she was riding on. "I'm Zandra Black," the blonde said, brushing bangs out of her eyes. "You wouldn't happen to be starting out on your journey, would you? i find myself at a loss of a traveling partner."

Once the path was clean and safe to walk on again, Cera pushed the hair out of her face and looked up to the offender. She'd opened her mouth to scold the girl, but the other beat her to it with a quick apology, so the Jenny decided she'd let it slide. This time. So instead she grinned. "Cera Jenny! Nice ta meet ya!"
Beneath her, Buddy shifted and sniffed at the Bouffalant, before dismising him.
Cera simply nodded. "Yeah, finally got my aunts to give me two seconds of peace and got the hell out of dodge, ya know?" She rolled her eyes. "Family can be such a pain sometimes. But hey! All I've got is Buddy here..." She quickly patted the dog when he huffed. "Not that you aren't brilliant company, Buddy. But I would like to be able to understand someone, ya know?" Her attention turned back to Zandra. "Mind if I join ya?"

"Okay, let's try this again," Aldo said with a grumble, kicking at the ground in front of him irritably. This was already the third time that he'd walked this route and he was starting to get sick of it. As soon as he tried to challenge Wendy in Gustella, the gym somehow got destroyed before his eyes. Naturally, the gym leader wasn't exactly feeling like taking challenges and angrily sent Aldo away. At the same time, that breeder girl decided she wanted to travel on her own and so he begrudgingly let her leave. "Alright, just see what you can find," Aldo told himself, taking in a deep breath as he heard a loud shout that sounded like "BOO". "...Okay, may as well find out what that is," he said, heading off towards the source of the sound.

Zandra raised one eyebrow slowly. A Jenny, hmm? One didn't often see them doing anything other then joining the police force. She was mildly surprised that this young jenny had left her family to start training pokemon. Ah well, she didn't really have much room to talk. Oh sure, her family had Pokemon of their own, but they were all bought, not caught themselves.
She considered the girl for a moment or two longer before she shrugged. "Why not. It would be nice to talk to someone other then boo." She ignored Boo's happy call of 'Boo' this time. He was really easily amused., but he was really sweet and kinda cute, so she couldn't bring herself to do anything else then love the big fluffy goofball.
