Snow walked slowly towards the lab, it was strange for him to ask help from strangers. Nervously he opened the door and started to walk in hoping that he was not interupting anything to serious. "Excuse me, I am here for a starter." Snow stated confidently, it was not his first pokemon but it was his first very own pokemon.
The lab was a slight mess but much cleaner then his own house was with his parents papers and charts everywhere. At least here the professor had assistants to help keep the mess down.

"Hello there," Professor Conifer's voice called from further into the lab. "I'm sorry I can't see you at the moment, but just follow Ranny and she'll lead you to me," she continued as the Suicune approached the new trainer. With a quick nod of her head, Ranny guided Snow through the lab, leading him to the Professor and the pen of starter Pokemon for him to choose from. "Well then, let's get started then. These six pokemon are all ready and waiting to accompany you on your journey, if any of them catch your eye. We also have three mystery balls on the podium, but I should warn you that I'm not exactly sure what's in any of them. Racers and Trainers may choose one partner, and Breeders and Coordinators may choose two. Only one mystery ball per person, and once you choose a partner, you cannot go back," Professor Conifer said. |

Snow's eyes went wide at the sight of the wild pokemon as he reached out to touch it but pulled his hand back instead. "Wow, a legendary." he stammered as he followed it almost completely forgeting about the professor.
As he stood there he looked over each of the available pokemon, the oshawatt was a good looking one but he didn't know. All of them seemed kind of dull in his eyes, not bad pokemon but dull. "If you don't mind i would like this mystery ball." He stated pointing the the middle of the three.

"Very well then. Let's see who you'll be traveling with," Conifer said, tossing the ball Snow pointed to forward. Although it opened, nothing seemed to come out of it. "That's odd. I don't think it's broken," the professor said, taking the Pokeball again and examining it. "DUSKU~LLLLL!" a ghost type wearing a skull mask exclaimed cheerfully, rushing out of the Pokeball as Conifer brought it to her face, causing the woman to panic and drop it back to the ground. "O-Oh, there it is. We-Well, I hope you both have fun on your journey. Before you leave, I have some things to give you," the professor said as she recovered, the Duskull maniacally laughing at the result of his prank. Snow stared at the empty ball and was about to make a scene when the ghost shot out of the ball and almost scared the professor to death. Smirking Snow commented, "He will do nicely picking up the pokeball his slipped it into his jacket. He quickly scooped up the items and a black pokedex. He eyed the bags for a moment and grabbed the normal two strapped bag.
"All right Terror lets go." He stated to the ghost pokemon that was now no where to be seen. Snow didn't worry about it as he started to walk off. Appearing the Duskull was stealing a pen and quickly vanished again with the pen and flew after Snow. "Thanks C." Snow stated as he left the building Terror showing up just long enough to stick its tongue out before vanishing through the wall.

The time had begun to grow late by the time Vadik made his way towards Dust town, not like it matters all to much however, Vadik liked the dark, it was very homely to him. He made his way silently throughout the town, barley making a noise as he slithered about. In his Pokeballs contained two Pokemon he befriended on his way to the small town, he didn't know why he chose the Pokemon, something about the two seemed good to him.
Finally after a couple minutes of his wandering and exploring the new territory, Vadik found what he was looking for. The Pokemon lab, while Vadik may have a working team whom seemed to be quite valuable, Vadik did not have the materials needed for his current plans. Vadik walked through door, not really bothering to knock.
"Hello, might someone be up at this moment?"

"Hmm? O-Oh yes. I'm over here!" Professor Conifer said, recovering from the brief fright from Terror and letting out a sigh of relief, though now she had no idea where her pen had gone. "I see that you have Pokemon of your own, so just take a box of supplies from the table over there."

Vadik smirked and nodded, he walked over two the table and picked up the fourth bag that contained the supplies needed for his journey then looked at his Pokedex choices. It seemed the black one was missing, shame. Instead Vadik grabbed the blue Pokedex before moving back towards the door before stopping. "I Thank you for your assistance, good bye." With that, VAdik left as quietly as he appeared. x 5 x 5 x 3 x 2 x 3  x 5 |

Walking towards Professor Conifer's lab, Ian began to mentally prepare himself for his first Pokemon. "You're going to be fine Ian. This won't turn out like last time. Just go in and everything will be okay," he told himself as he reached the door and opened it slowly. "Excuse me? Is anybody there? I can leave if you aren't."

"No no, please come in. Just getting the Pokemon to calm down," Professor Conifer said as many of the Pokemon in the pen were starting to get restless at all the waiting for a trainer. They all stared at Ian curiously, pushing and crowding at the edge of their pen to see if they could ensure their chance to be chosen. "Well, here they are. Breeders and coordinators get two while trainers and racers get one. The mystery balls are over there, but you only get one."

"Great," Ian said with a sigh, stepping into the lab and wincing slightly when he saw all the Pokemon staring at him. So many of them in one place still managed to freak him out. Stepping forward reluctantly, he looked over the Pokemon and noticed one of them trying to push it's way through the crowd to be seen, but being unable to. Reaching in despite his fear, he pulled the Pokemon, a Totodile, out of the pen curiously. "I think I want this one and a mystery ball," Ian said, putting the Totodile down almost as quickly as he'd picked it up.

Looking up at Ian with wide eyes, Totodile paused for a moment before leaping at her new trainer and latching onto his leg, tears freely flowing from her eyes as she did. She didn't think anyone would ever want her or choose her, but now she was finally getting a trainer of her own and she was just so happy. The mystery ball produced a rather large Druddigon, standing slightly above Ian. Looking his new trainer over curiously, he decided that he could accept him for now anyway and gave a quick huff of approval. "My, that's a very...unique pair of Pokemon. Anyway, you'll find your set of items over here and a Pokedex as well," Professor Conifer said, stepping aside as Druddigon began to wander around the lab. "Please take them quickly. I think this one is starting to get a bit restless." "Thank you, professor," Ian said, trying to coax Totodile off of his leg and keep his distance from the large Dragon-type. Sometimes, it felt like the universe just liked laughing at him. Like giving him a Pokemon that wouldn't get off of him and a Pokemon who could easily snap him in half. Just what someone afraid of Pokemon needed. Taking his supplies, he turned to his new Pokemon with a sigh. "Well, let's get going you two," he said as they headed out of the lab.
