One To See, Three To Be

[Den Cannon]

The sun shined brightly, the trees danced as the strong winds blew through the route. The place would of been perfect, however there was an annoyed aura causing the place to seem dark. Den was walking through the route, he was very annoyed and did not wish to be on the lovely journey his parents had given him. He wished he stayed in his room, his parents would of just continued to forget him. Spotting a large rock near by Den went over and sat on the top of it, taking a break from walking. He reached to his belt and took one of his Pokeballs, releasing the Pokemon from it's contents, The Magnemite that was released looked around the environment quietly.

Den stared at his Pokemon in annoyance, he did not like this Pokemon, it was quiet and did not act like most Pokemon, which was perfectly fine for Den, but it also bugged him as well. Why wasn't this Pokemon like those other annoying spotlight hoarders? Ryu's attention went to his trainer, the magnet stared at him calmly and serious awaiting for his trainer to say something. Usually Den was say how much he despised the Pokemon, Ryu didn't care, he just stayed quiet and listened. Den however did not say anything this time and the two just continued to stare/glare at each other.

[Hunter]

Heading along Route 801, Hunter sighed as two of his Pokemon fought behind his back, where they thought he couldn't hear them. Chikorita was darting around eagerly, showing off the medal she'd won as a challenge to the new Pokemon with them. The Vanillite angrily floated around Chikorita, the temperature lowering around her as she got angrier. "That's enough you two. There's no reason to keep on fighting each other," Hunter called over his shoulder to the two of them. "You guys should be more like this one here," he added, petting the head of the Absol walking behind him as she blushed and hid her head behind one of her wings. Hunter had no idea where she'd come from, or even what she was, but she was definitely beautiful and looked like she could be a good racer.

[Den Cannon]

Den noticed someone walking along the path with some of his Pokemon behind him, he was going to ignore the person, he didn't care for interacting with Pokemon, nor Pokemon lovers. Why should he bother with some random stranger anyway? The two arguing Pokemon were annoying, just like most Pokemon. However as the team walked close one of Den's Pokeballs suddenly opened up, suddenly releasing one of his Pokemon! The light from the Pokeball faded away and the creature that was resting inside, a Porygon rushed over excitedly towards the group.

Den could feel a vain, now THIS Pokemon was troublesome. His parents decided that Den should go with one of his dead brother's old Pokemon, handing over a strange robotic, happy-go-lucky Pokemon. Den preferred keeping the Porygon in it's Pokeball, but there were times where the strange Pokemon would escape.

"DJ, get over here, don't go bugging people!" Den yelled over to his Pokemon, trying to get the Porygon to come back. DJ however, did not like that idea and had decided he wanted to try to be helpful and stop the Chikorita and Vanillite from fighting.

[Hunter]

Seeing another Pokemon coming towards them, Chikorita turned to it angrily and prepared to attack before being grabbed by Hunter. "Enough of that. We don't need you making us any enemies right now," Hunter told her as the Pokemon kicked her legs in the air trying to get free. "Sorry about that little guy. She can get a little irritable sometimes," Hunter said as Porygon got closer to him. Looking past the strange Pokemon, he saw someone else walking this way and waved at him, assuming the Porygon belonged to him.

[Den Cannon]

Den sighed in annoyance, well, so much for not interacting with others, this annoying Pokemon managed for force him in one...He avoided eye-contact but at least was willing to wave back to the other. Den didn't really know what to say or do at this point, spending years in isolation from the world can do that to a person. DJ was jumping up and down excitedly, he was such an air-headed creature, how annoying.

"Er...Sorry if he caused any trouble, can't say I'm exactly good with Pokemon" Den grumbled out, returning the Porygon back into it's Pokeball chamber leaving Den's Magnemite to the only one out that was his. The metallic ball floated quietly behind the trainer, refraining from speaking. Den began to turn and walk away, he saw no reason to stay there, he had training to do.

[Hunter]

"Um...Okay, I guess. See ya," Hunter said, setting Chikorita down on Absol's back and reaching to grab Vanillite before she could cause any more problems. Looking over his shoulder when he realized she wasn't nearby, he saw that she was floating closely behind Den, going forward and poking the other trainer in the back every so often, giggling all the way after him. "Vanillite, get back here! Leave him alone!" Hunter called after his Pokemon, who simply stuck out her tongue at him as she continued.

[Den Cannon]

Den felt the Vanillite poke him in the back a couple times, why was this Pokemon following him and bothering him? Shouldn't she stick with her trainer? If the Ice cream didn't want any trouble. From behind he could her Hunter Called for his Pokemon to come back, however the Vanillite did not seem to follow his order.

Den sighed and glared at the Vanillite "What is your problem?" He asked not really expecting an answer that he could understand, the Magnemite next to him stared a the Vanillite, keeping his quiet reputation going.

[Hunter]

"Sorry about that. I just got her from someone else and she's still a little tough to control," Hunter said as he caught up with Den. "It looks like she really likes you though."

"Vani Vanillite!" Vanillite said cheerfully, circling around Den's head as she did. Before long, she got bored and turned her attention to Magnemite to try and get a reaction out of the electric type. Staring hard at what she assumed was his eye, she made a series of funny faces at him, giggling in between each face.

[Den Cannon]

Den glared at the Vanillite and it made cheerful sounds and circled his head, thankfully she grew bored of him and began to pester Ryu. She was making a bunch of faces at him and giggling, which made him even more annoyed, even IF it wasn't focused on him. Ryu's eye focused on the Ice Pokemon, she did have his attention, but he showed no reaction about the faces she made. Eventually he grew bored of staring at her and turned away.

"Eh..." Den began. "I couldn't care less if she likes me or not, I hate her, I hate most Pokemon if not all." He really did not know to say to the other. It wasn't like he wanted to talk either, Den just wanted to get his stupid journey over so he didn't have do deal with Pokemon anymore.

[Hunter]

"Sorry to hear that. Though if you don't mind me asking, why are you traveling with your own Pokemon if you hate them?" Hunter asked.

Seeing Magnemite turn away from her, Vanillite pouted angrily before going around to face him again. "Vani!" Stop ignoring me! she told him.

[Den Cannon]

"Why am I traveling with Pokemon you ask?" Den started, not realizing his voice got slightly louder. "Because my stupid parents failed to realize that I hate them and decided that it was my dream to become a Pokemon trainer and actually wanted to travel around the world with them. They won't let me back home until I fulfill my 'dream' of becoming a Pokemon master." Den explained, he could feel himself getting very ticked off just thinking about his Parents.

Ryu noticed as the Vanillite suddenly moved over to face him again, yelling at him to stop ignoring her. His eye focused in on her for a few seconds before turning moving somewhere else. The Magnemite was not interested in the other Pokemon in the slightest, she was...Uninteresting to him, but he would never say that, there was no point.

[Hunter]

"That sounds rough, but it's not all bad, is it? Who knows, maybe you'll find something you like while you're doing this," Hunter said as the two of them continued along the path. Vanillite continued trying to get Ryu's attention before noticing two new Pokemon hiding by the side of the road. As she approached the two, they both leaped out, staring at the trainer's bags and the smell of berries coming from inside them. Nodding to each other, the two wild Pokemon began their attack.

[Den Cannon]

Den didn't know why he allowed Hunter to go with him, he preferred solitude, but despite his preference, the two walked along the route's path anyway. That is...Until Hunter's Vanillite spotted some wild Pokemon who were not too friendly. The two Pokemon attacked, charging forward, hungry for victory and the berries inside Hunter and Den's bag.

"Grr...You really need to learn to control that thing." Den growled to Hunter. "Ryu, get rid of one of these pests!" Ryu blinked and moved in front of his trainer, sparks of electricity were flying off the metallic Pokemon. With his electrical powers, Ryu shot out an electric shock towards the Abra.

[Hunter]

"Alright then. Vanilite, you take care of Seedot then!" Hunter called to his Pokemon, who opened her mouth wide before firing icicles at her opponent.

Recovering from the electrical shock, Abra attacked Ryu with Thunder Punch.

[Den Cannon]

What was wrong with Ryu? It began acting slightly strange, static from the Abra's thunder punch were messing with it...Den wasn't sure exactly what was wrong, but whatever it was it did not seem very good.

Ryu was struggling to remain in power of the paralysis, it was hard for him to move with the opponent's electricity messing with his own. Summoning some of his electricity, Ryu tried attacking again with another thunder shock.

Seedot shook off the painful icicles that had been shot at her, she did not like having to go against an ice type, nor being shot as with ice attacks. She thought about her options in her situation, finally after a second she decided that her best bet would be to use foul play.

Seedot charged towards the Vanillite, with plans to use the Ice Pokemon's power against her.
