Personality: Akira is always prepared for almost any situation, mainly because she tends to worry about any and every problem that could possibly happen, regardless of how likely it is to actually happen. She likes to write a lot and plans to record her journey as a Breeder into her journal to keep as a keepsake. She has a crippling fear of Flying-type Pokemon ever since she was attacked by a flock of Tailow when she was a child.

History: Akira's parents were established Breeders in Petalburg and she spent a lot of time playing with the growing Pokemon. Whenever she wasn't playing with them, she was off searching for a Pokemon of her own to care for. One day, she tried to tame a Tailow she'd found nearby her home, but that only resulted in the bird Pokemon becoming agitated and attacking her along with it's flock. After that point, Akira stayed as far away from Flying-types as she possibly could.
As she got older, Akira became more and more interested in learning to become a professional Breeder herself. Even though her parents would have been able to teach her, she wanted to go out and get experiences for herself instead of just following whatever they taught her. One day, she finally decided that it was time for her to set off on her own journey. Taking with her a Seviper and Zangoose that were being raised by her parents, she said her final goodbyes and headed off to the Varaia region.
