Personality: Thanks to being the second oldest in a brood of six children, Aidan has a wealth of patience; everything seems to just roll right off his back like water on a Golduck. He's very much a roll with the punches kind of guy, easily adaptable to changes in his surroundings and situations. At first glance, one would assume he was almost lazy; however, underneath this easy going exterior beats a tenacious heart. While willing to just float on along with the unimportant issues of life(like disagreements of opinions), he isn't one to just bend to someone else's will or give up when the going gets tough; he pushes himself and those around him to be the very best that they can be and doesn't believe in simply rolling over if something in life has got you down. This perserverance has gotten him through a variety of hardships in his life and made him the person he is now. He seems to have a personal affection to water Pokemon and enjoys their beauty.

History: A native of the Varaia region, Aidan was born and raised in the city of Torrentia as the second oldest of six children. Living in a city surrounded by water means that he quickly became an excellent swimmer and was pretty unafraid of even the scariest of water Pokemon. Growing up, he and his older brother, Matt, were often the one left in charge of watching their four younger siblings while their parents were either at work or running errands in the town.
With six mouths to feed, money was always short so when Matt was sixteen, he left his family to become a Pokemon trainer. Aidan, who was twelve at the time, revered his brave older brother and was deeply wounded by his leaving; while becoming a Pokemon trainer was a common occupation in his family, it was that day that he decided he would do anything but that; it took his older brother away from him.
Instead, he focused on other things. Reading and drawing became popular past times but he didn't find his true calling until he swam out into Lake Torrentia one summer evening when he was 19. The sun was just setting and he'd settled himself on the bank to rest before his long swim back. He sat watching the water and surf lave over the short and in the distance, he saw a faint glistening of disturbed water.
From the placid surface of the lake, a Vaporean's head broke the surface, its pale blue scales glistening like diamonds. Its fin like ears twitched and it turned black eyes toward Aidan, looking at him without fear. Then, with the ease of a slithering snake, it flipped back down under the water with a flick of his tail. Its gracefulness touched something deep inside Aidan; it was then he decided he loved the beauty of Water Pokemon and that his goal would be to become a Coordinator.
When he turned 20, he kissed his family good bye and struck out for Dust Town.
