Ken is a teenager who has quite a height for his age. He is quite tall, 170 cm, and has a developed body. Since he is a martial artist, he gains quite amount of muscles all over his body, more over on his arms. Because of that he is somewhat bulky and has quite a weight, 75 kilos, most of it comes from his muscles.
Ken has a face that looks older than he supposed to, maybe because of his tough training that makes him like that. His signature is his long blonde hair that tied on the back. He has a pair of sharp red eyes and thick eyebrows.
Ken wears a white handles shirt with a red handles jacket above it. He also wears a blue jeans and a black crocodile`s skin belt tied on it. He also has a pair of black gloves and a pair of red and white colored snickers. And lastly he almost always seen wearing a red and white colored cap on his head.

Personality:
Ken usually maintains a stern, serious and distanced personality, but often loses his temper easily when he sees something that unplease him. Ken is also displayed as very apathetic, rarely showing emotion and usually expressing coldheartedness and indifference. Despite this, he has a kind heart, he is willing to risk death for the sake of his friend and pokemon.
As a trainer he is very strict to himself and his pokemon. He doesn`t know the meaning of giving up and wont let his pokemon giving up in a training or battle. He will do everything he can to makes his pokemon train or battle as hard as possible. But still, he cares so much about his pokemon and wont allow them to get an injury for a stupid reason. And he will do his best to keep them on top shape and treats his pokemon well when sick or injured.
As a fighter himself, he loves both fighting, man to man fighting, and of course a pokemon battle too. When fighting weaker opponent, he does try to hold back when fighting. But when he fight a strong one he becomes quite rash and unwillingly accept defeat until he or his pokemon fall unconscious.

Ken is a son of a pokemon scientist. His father used to work as Professor Oak`s aide and one of the best aide that world famous Professor had. But since 5 years ago, when he was still 10 years old, his father decided to travel around the world to learn more about pokemon. That`s why he followed his father and was traveling to any region before finally reach Varaia.
Ken himself loves pokemon, but his dream is not to become a scientist like his father. But to become one of the best Pokemon Trainer, mainly becomes a fighter type pokemon master since he loves martial arts a lot. And from his point of view, fighting type pokemon looks a lot cooler than any other type.
When his family reached Varaia, he asked his father to start his own journey and got an approval. That`s why he quickly gone to Dust Town to meet with Professor Conifer to get his first pokemon.
