Natalie took off her shoes and stepped into the lake and jumped out just as quickly. "That is COLD!"
Drifloon hovered at her shoulder and gave a lazy squeak. "Here hold these" she tied the laces of her shoes to his tendrils and eased back into the water step by step.
She turned back to the boys "Well come on don't just stand there."

"Yeah, yeah, we're coming," Aldo said, heading towards the lake before stopping suddenly. "Somethings coming," he said as the sky around them went dark and a loud roar went through the sky. Racing towards them was a strangely colored Rayquaza, apparently bent on attacking the small group. It got closer and closer to them, opening it's jaws wide to attack...and was knocked on the nose by a Pokeball thrown by Aldo. The Rayquaza was pulled into the Pokeball, which clicked shut without much protest. "Well, that's one problem settled," Aldo said as the sky began to brighten again. Will raised an eyebrow at the sight of the strange Rayquaza and it's easy capture. "That could have been bad. I guess luck was with us."
He looked over at Natalie, "I guess that you are the only one with out a strange Pokemon. Though I think I like my angel Absol better." As if sensing that He was being talked about Paladin popped out of his ball and stretched his long white wings and shook out his fur.
"Why don't you go get some exercise while we train?" Will suggested to Paladin as he took off his own shoes to join Natalie in the water.
The Absol nodded and jumped into the air.

Natalie shrugged. "This place seems pretty strange and we are only in the beginning of our journey. I'm in no hurry."
She waded deeper into the water until it was at the bottom of her shorts without getting wet. "I'd rather train Sewaddle and Trapinch some more. Hey If we don't run into some wild's soon who wants to battle me?"

"I guess training is what's most important right now," Aldo admitted, reaching for his Pokeballs and releasing Riolu and Mudkip. He was still a little wary of letting Lillipup out, considering she was sure to knock something into the water. "You two. Be on the look out for any wild Pokemon, got it?" he instructed, getting a salute from Riolu and a clumsy trip over his legs from Mudkip.

It did not take long for the trainers to find someone to fight, for a horsea and staryu immediately surfaced and faced the two, ready to begin. Mudkip spotted the oncoming wild Pokemon faster than Riolu managed to and charged at them, slamming into Horsea with a Tackle.

Libra splashed into the shallow water and fired off his electric attack.

"Mudkip! Try using Ice Ball this time!" Aldo called to Mudkip, who gave a vigorous nod and faced his opponent again. Building up a ball of ice, he fired it at the oncoming Horsea.

It took a few moments for Staryu to recover from the damage she'd taken, struggling to stay on her feet. Spinning about quickly, she rose into the air and flew at Libra with Rapid Spin.

"Okay, come on back," Aldo said with a sigh as Mudkip happily hopped to him. "We'll get them next time, alright?" he told the mudfish Pokemon, who tilted his head curiously.

"Alright, I guess I can do that much," Aldo said with a small smile. "Riolu! Your turn!" he instructed as the Pokemon ran back to his trainer. "So, you want to make this a single battle or more?" he asked as Riolu entered a combat ready stance.

"Single battle is fine by me. Go Trapinch!" Natalie flung Trapinch's ball out and Trapinch landed in front of her.
Trapinch bounced around the field until Natalie Called out a command. "Mud shot!" the he turned and Kicked up mud and flung it towards Riolu.

Riolu managed to jump out of the way from the attack and faced off against Trapinch. "Okay Riolu! Start off with Sky Uppercut!" Aldo instructed as Riolu rushed at Trapinch and pulled his fist back for a punch.
