The operation was halfway successful. Zorn was surprised at how easy it was for Team Necro to sneak into Blizzara and the Light of Aurora's and make such a successful capture. From the balcony of the warehouse, he watched as the sunlight, magnified by the greenhouse-like glass that made up the massive skylight, beat down on his captives.
"Yuuu...." Whined the ice dragons who huddled underneath the clouds of a group of humanlike pokemon, who were panting with the effort of staying airborne to protect their fellow captives from the intense heat. Zorn watched in silence as a sinister chuckle was heard, Mandibuzz's talons clacking on the floor as she walked up to her partner, looking over the group with him.
"At this rate, they will be too weak to fight against us, and then they will be that much closer to becoming more of the faceless vessels of power that make up our army." Mandibuzz said, a childlike sparkle in her dead eyes. The statement went unanswered by Zorn, which was fine by her, but he did narrow his eyes a little at the sweltering pokemon.
"What of the Victory Seekers? What have you learned about their discovery?" He asked. Mandibuzz gave an unsure sigh and closed her eyes.
"We still have no leads, but we will find out what those do-gooders are hiding, and we will make their powers our own." She said with pride as Zorn chuckled, putting a hand on her rotten head.

"Not if I have anything to say about it, you out-of-date thanksgiving dinner." Sneer snarled under her breath, fleeing from her hiding place and making her way to the gym. Blitz looked up as she slammed open the doors, causing his usual cocky grin to fade into a worried frown.
"What did you find?" He asked as Flair butted her head against him to try and comfort the Gym Leader. Sneer looked over at Blitz with a stern expression, causing him to grit his teeth.
"A lot, they've got a huge wing of Kyurem and a large concentration of Kami's. They aren't happy with their arrangement but Zorn is using the city's intense heat to weaken them all, so they won't be of much help to us, if any." She said as Blitz growled along with his ninetales.
"Let's get them out of there then! I`ll call Becker and have her send in a Kyogre, and we'll kick those zombie freaks out of my city!" he said, running to the door. Sneer dug her tail into the ground, her eyes glowing as massive roots burst upwards and ensnared the shirtless Gym Leader.
"How do you expect a Kyogre to get here, exactly? And even if there WAS a way for Becker to track down and send a Kyogre, it would take too long. The pokemon will be dead by then. We can't just go barging in there on a rescue." She growled.
"Then what are we supposed to do, wait for an invitation to tea? We gotta help them Sneer!" Blitz yelled. Sneer's eye twitched as she tossed the gym leader across the room. He landed on the back of his ninetales with a soft bounce, and Sneer sighed.
"We have to call for help. I know quite a few Victory Seekers are still in the area. Team Necro wants to know about the treasure we found last week. I'd hate to disappoint Zorn to steal his trophies without showing what we can really do. If anything those statues told us is true, then this might just be the edge we need to get the upper hand. Call my minions, this is about to get fun." She said as she disappeared into another room to make a call of her own while Blitz gleefully dialed numbers on his X-Transceiver.
(OOC: This is for people who participated in the Triad Temple Expedition. If you haven't made your claim on a prize in the expedition I suggest you do so now. Bay has told me she is going to get a Mirror and Spirit is donating her own Mirror to Basile. If you were on the expedition, post your character answering Blitz' call for help here.)

Just perfect. After finally getting the chance to head back out to find another gym to face, Aldo had to get called back again into the hottest part of this entire region. The fact that his new Chandelure loved to be as close to him as she could and brought all the heat a living fire would be expected to bring with her didn't help either. "The faster we get this over with, the faster I can get going again," he muttered from on top of his Rayquaza, who cheerfully flew through the air towards Droughtenna. "At least we're close."

Spirit was resting inside a Pokemon center after finally finishing up with the expedition she was in with another group, she and her Pokemon, Drinyo decided it would be best to take a short rest before making it all the way back to her original journey. Suddenly a call appeared for her in one of the Pokemon center phones.
Spirit picked up the phone and listened to what they wanted. It was Sneer and apparently she and the other Victory seekers who were on the expedition needed to hurry over to Droughtenna City. Thankfully it wasn't too far since Spirit had yet to leave Quakita City yet, however the walk was tiring and hot.
While Drinyo felt quite at him it the heated environment Spirit was not quiet as use to the extreme desert heat, deciding it was best for her own health, Spirit took off her green hooded jacket and tied it around her waist. Thankfully the two were getting close to the town.

Alan grumbled to himself mostly, nothing coherent coming out of his mouth, as he rode on his Pokemon to the current location, Droughtenna City. Why didn’t the good guys leave him alone? And why was he a part of the good guys? Also, why didn’t the bad guys just waited? All of these questions and more were swirling around in his head as he had Mew become an Aerodactyl. That was the creature that he was riding on. There was no need to show a legendary here. He would have her transform to whatever suited the situation. His other Pokemon were all prepped and ready to go as well.
He was prepared to use everything that he had on this one. He questioned himself on helping out again. For one side, he just did it and then he could just disappear again. No need to stick around and socialize. The last time it just wasn’t teamwork. Maybe here, there would be a greater amount of that. Maybe he would see something that would make him believe in teamwork. For now, he would work with the others or rather just fight against the enemy as would the others do. He had no sympathy or connection to the others. Yes, Team Necro was the bad guys and so he did want to wipe them out but he really couldn't do that alone. So, teamwork was really the only option at this point. He hated the blasted heat and dryness of the weather as he got closer to the city. He hated this weather. Why couldn't it be up where he lived? At least, that place was cold and he was used to the cold.

Sawyer, oddly enough, was not on the back of any of her pokemon as she soared in the sky towards Droughtenna. She'd still been in Quakita when she got the call from Blitz and Sneer, however, when the plea came in, she was in a fix. Beau, no matter how much he tried to play it off, could not deny that he was still shaken from the event he and his trainer had been through underground and remained in his pokeball. Even though the Blizzara native did have another pokemon that could ferry her back across the desert, Sawyer decided against it. The poor undead Ho-oh needed rest and as little stress as it could get, even though the thought had crossed her mind that the legendary would enjoy a hot place and find some sort of peace in it.
Thankfully while she was in Quakita, she met a quiet, frail coordinator by the name of Alenai who was also on her way to the hot town. She'd somehow found herself in the middle of an awkward love triangle in her old group, and after splitting, decided she just needed to move on and put the past behind her. Even luckier was the fact that this girl had a Misquaza and they were already in the air by the time they got the call. Perhaps the most fortunate she'd been throughout her entire journey so far regarding being at the right place at the right time, but still, Sawyer couldn't shake off the weird feeling she was getting...
"Axew?" her starter pokemon chirped, turning around to face his trainer curiously. Sawyer sighed and patted his head, giving Allie a quick nothing-to-see-here smile as she turned around worriedly to look at the other girl.
"Is... everything okay? I'm trying to keep Malice as steady as p-possible up here..." the blonde stuttered, patting the purple pokemon's side.
"Yeah yeah~ don't worry about it. Oh, look! Finally, I can see Droughtenna" Sawyer announced, hanging on as Malice plummeted towards the ground.
