Lucas has left after spirit figuring he would nap first. They had planned to meet back at the center around 7 that night so as to not bug each others battles. Now it was time for him to head to the gym as he approached his mood go worse. The gym was destroyed and he didn't see the gym leader anywhere. Ruby bounded into the ruins and was playing when Lucas hollared for the leader.
"WENDY, WHERE YOU AT?" He couldn't believe that he had gotten this far and now this. Hopefully he could find her. Throwing out both pokeballs Klink and Mareep showed up, "Go look for her but don't wander to far." He stated as he himself started to look around for her still yelling her name.

A loud yelp was heard from behind the remains of the gym, followed by Wendy running out to the front, closely followed by Klink and Breeze. "Sorry 'bout that. I was just restin' my eyes a bit when your little guy came and found me," she said as Klink went back to Lucas. "Anyway, what can I do ya for? Here for the gym battle?"

Lucas almost jumped out of his skin when he heard the female scream but sighed with relief when Wendy popped out from behind the building. "Yes, Maam." Lucas stated jumping up and down and then hollared, "TEAM ASSEMBLE." Klink and Mareep where quick to show up but Ruby walked there not really caring but knew that this meant she would get to fight.
"Alright Wendy, lets do this!" He almost shouted as his pokemon where lined up behind him, Klink to his left, MAreep to his right and Ruby like always in front of him with her arms crossed. He was not going to use her first but he wasn't going to tell her that just yet.

"Alrighty then! Farfetch'd, you're up!" Wendy called, tossing out her first Pokeball and releasing a Farfetch'd who looked over the opposing team.

Lucas smirked, "Alrighty Thunder this is all you buddy lead the team off." Ruby was about to hop in the way when Lucas shot out quickly and grabbed her and her pokeball pocketing it. "Behave Ruby you will get your shot." He stated pattting her on the head.
Mareep glared down the bird with a stick, and waited for the command. "Alright use Thundershock, Thunder."
[RESULT: 7] +1
The wool starting to spark as Mareep stood there and finally for the first time the bolt left its body and slammed straight into the bird causing massive damage and sending shocks through its nerves.

Receiving a sudden electric shock, Farfetch'd nearly collapsed, but somehow managed to stay standing. "Farfetch'd! Open with Cut!" Wendy called as Farfetch'd tried to slash at Thunder with his onion. Unfortunately, the shock ran through his body again and he was unable to do anything.

"Alright Thunder, don't get to cocky we still have a long ways to go and any minute it could get us. Lets get in there with another thunder shock." Lucas stated as he stood their shaking slightly with nerves, they were doing so well but any minute they could lose.
Thunder's eyes gleamed he was enjoying himself not only because he was winning but because he was proofing to Ruby that he was better then she was. Two arrogant pokemon on the same team made things rather tense. The wool started to charge again as he sent out another bolt of lightening.
[RESULT: 8] +1
Another powerful bolt shot through the bird making even Thunder wince at the pain the poor bird looked like when the damage hit.

Taking another electric shock, Farfetch'd shuddered a bit before preparing to attack again. "Alright Farfetch'd, show 'em what you can do with Cut again!" Wendy called as Farfetch'd tried to attack once more. Once again, he found himself unable to move.

Thunder was getting arrogant and that was not good, Lucas could see it in his eyes but he was doing well. Ruby on the other hand was sulking her eyes like daggers. Lucas was half afraid she would use confusion on Thunder from the sidelines. Bolt was just idly floating about watching the fight the shiny lightening keeping his attention.
Before Lucas could even tell him to attack again the wool started to charge and another bolt was launched from its body, "MAREEP!" it screamed as the bolt left its body.
[RESULT: 8] +1
The bolt connected again and this time the bird fell hard its eyes all kinds of swirling as it fainted. "Good job Thunder but next time wait for me to give the attack please, if you can't follow orders your no better then Ruby." Lucas stated and it seemed to slap the sheep in the face.

"Farfetch'd, return!" Wendy called as she returned her Pokemon and reached for another Pokeball. "Tranquill! You're up next!" she called as she let out her next Pokemon.

The flash of light was bright and another bird stood in its wake but this would be the same type of battle Lucas was confident. "Another thunder shock." He stated pointing at the bird. Ruby was sulking even more as the sheep charged its fur and let a bolt loose at the new bird.
[RESULT: 0] +1
The attack hit the bird but did little to no damage to it which shattered any confidence the Mareep had. "Don't worry we can still do this." Lucas yelled.

Staring at Thunder all through the attack, Tranquill let out a quick scoff at the electric type. "Alright Tranquill! Blow 'im away with gust!" Wendy called out as Tranquill flew up into the air and began creating wind by flapping his wings.

OCC: Mareep has a 1/2x resistance to flying moves also  The gust hit the sheep but didn't do much but blow dry its wool back into pristine form. He smiled wickedly as hte body started to electrify but it waited for Lucas. "Alright little buddy lets charge it a bit, then release." The sheep followed the isntructions and waited a bit longer then usual and then fired another bolt. [RESULT: 4] +1 The attack hit and did more damage this time but not nearly as much as the team needed. From what Lucas knew she had at least one more pokemon left and losing Thunder would not be good. Tranquill: 20/26 Thunder: 22/23 |

Shaking off the attack from Thunder with little trouble, Tranquill looked to Wendy for instructions. "Alright Tranny, use Peck!" Wendy called as Tranquill began attacking Thunder.

The peck was almost devastating as Thunder hit the ground form it shaking off the pain he stood up and glared at the bird. "Alright Thunder, it got a lucky hit but you won't be beaten lets do another thundershock." Lucas yelled. The sheep obeyed and sent another bolt.
[RESULT: 0] +1
The attack did almost nothing yet again, this bird was far more resilient then the previous one. It was going to take a lot to win this and there was still on more pokemon left to fight.
