[atrb=width,95%,bTable][atrb=border,0,true] General Forum Rules |
→ First and foremost, Victory Seekers is a PG-13 forum! So please, please use common sense when it comes to language and content in your posts. If you simply must go 'over the limit' there are always IMs and private Chatango. This rule is strictly enforced, as ProBoards' ToS demands it. Only one warning will be given, and then permanent ban is enforced. → That being said, we do employ a bit of liberty in the chat box. The regulars of Victory Seekers are a rather quirky lot, who get into some interesting discussions. So for the chat, a 'common sense' rule is employed. Don't go overboard. Chat mods will be watching, and if you are asked to stop or you see one of your posts disappear, you've gone to far. 'Adult Time' is observed in the chat from 9 P.M. until 5 A.M., Victory Seekers time. The filter is removed during these hours, but chat is still monitored. → Also on the subject of the chat, font and color may be changed at will, but please keep in mind that if another person asks you to change one or the other we do expect you to comply. It's not only common courtesy, but some of our members do have vision impairments that make some text colors impossible for them to read. → When it comes to events and other 'specials', please don't beg or continually hint at them. We try to be fair when distributing such things, and we certainly aren't stingy. There are events, lottos, and other such things held all the time that offer rares ranging from pokemon to character creation items. Just know that the more you badger about something, the less likely you are to get it. → Last, but certainly not least, admins are not to be disrespected. Any observance of this will NOT be tolerated. If you have a any problem at all, all of us are quite happy to discuss issues in private, simply contact us. We really don't bite, so please don't be scared to bring issues to our attention, or even just nudge us for some plottage! |
Character Creation Rules |

→ When first signing up, please create an OOC account using the name you would like to be referred to as here on site! This will be used for any posting that is not In Character!
→ Each character should have their own account, using their names. Last names are not required. We know that it can be a pain to log in and out all the time, so the very first item on the side bar is a quick log in, which allows you to switch between accounts without needing to log out.
→ ALL CHARACTERS MUST BE LABELED. If we don't know who plays which character, that character is NOT allowed to be played. You MUST link ALL character profiles to the Character's account, and your name has to be SOMEWHERE on the character you own.
→ You may not, under any circumstances, create a character from the anime, manga, movies, or games. This includes using their 'face' for your character as a play-by. Victory Seekers takes place in the same universe, simply set in the future,so these characters have already existed. Besides that, they're copy-written.
→ It is possible to have a character related to the original Pokemon characters, so long as the correct item is purchased for such a thing.
→ Unless the 'start with your own pokemon' option is used, you may not start with pokemon you choose yourself. Admins do keep your preferences in mind when providing starters, however.
→ Admins will maintain your Pokemon statistics and inventory. If something needs to be updated, added, or removed, please post in the appropriate thread. Unless it's in your profile, it's not available to you, or 'true' in the case of pokemon levels and moves. So if you forget to update, you don't get your stuff!

In Character Information

→ We employ the use of anime physics. Basically, characters have bags a la Mary Poppins, which can hold anything and everything they might be carrying. The only reason someone should ever run low on food is for plot purposes.
→ No character may travel alone. Everyone must have at least one travel partner, though groups of up to six are allowed. This is for a few reasons. One, double posting is not allowed, so you wouldn't be able to move in threads without a partner. Two, for character safety. Within the plot, Team Necro is a nasty bunch and wouldn't hesitate to incapacitate a lone traveler. Three, when wilds are spawned in a thread, you have to have a partner for the capture system to work. Besides all that, what fun is threading by yourself, anyway?
