Becker smiled with the mouthpiece intact and petted Milotic, who began to slowly make her way back to the Breeding Center.
"Follow me, you both did wonderful." Said the woman as they approached. They went under the bubble and surfaced onto the dry land. Becker stretched and removed her respirator as Milotic slithered over to the building, and the breeding center head couldn't help but smile at her challengers.
"That was fun. You both did very well. Sorry that you didn't win though Amy. I wish you luck in your next test. Now then, Gauge, this is for you. Proof of your win at the Deep Seas breeding center. My specially-marked cherish ball is all yours." She said as Milotic returned, holding out the dark blue cherish ball to him with her tail.

Gauge gave Kingdra a goodbye wave as they re-entered the bubble, also proceeding to take the wet suit off by the lockers with the others. It was good for swimming, but... nothing else. Made him feel too constricted. He followed Becker quickly enough, stopping to listen yet watching Milotic from the corner of his eye. Of course, when he was addressed, he had to give the woman his full attention.
"Thanks Becker; Milotic" he said, taking the cherish ball and rolling it over his hands a few times to admire the color and patterns. Meanwhile, Kalkaska finally tackled his leg, looking up at the teen cheerfully and cheering for him over the win. He would have been there sooner, but... well, with a hyper Vaporeon running into you every five seconds. Speaking of Ipswich... the breeder looked down at the panting critter, shaking his head as the pokemon rolled over onto his back. Gauge pressed the button on the pokeball before pointing it at the water type, a red beam withdrawing Ippy inside. There wasn't much of a struggle, much to his surprise, and after the successful ping, Gauge sighed in relief. One down... three to go.
