"Okay, so let's get going...I guess," Akira said with a sigh as Sumire flew around her head lazily. She really didn't want to visit this Breeding Center, especially since it dealt with her least favorite type. Still, she couldn't have Sumire flying around everywhere without a way to keep her under control. "Well, this is the left side of town, so I guess we just keep walking along here until we find a Fearow," she said, heading off to go search.

After his first gym battle, Lee had met back up with Akira again. He didn't exactly know how this whole Breeder thing worked, but it was interesting to watch and learn. He'd never be one himself, but it was still interesting to watch and observe something new. Vincent had finally gotten the picture. He was tired of trying to keep up with Lee and he was tucked away in his pokeball.
Maverick was still resting in his, and the Pikachu deserved it. He was the only pokemon Lee used, and Lee won his first gym badge because of him solely. Lee had a couple other pokemon he planned to use, but he didn't even need them. Maverick had done the job perfectly. Perhaps he could use his other pokemon some other time in another battle. They could all use the experience.
Currently Lee was looking at his latest pokemon aquisition. The pokemon was powerful, that was for sure. Lee doubted he could even control the pokemon at this point. He hadn't tried it yet, though he was very tempted to. Perhaps the next battle he was in, he'd use the pokemon. For now, he was content staring at the pokeball while following Akira.
"So. What are you supposed to do exactly, Akira? I'm not familiar with Breeders and how they do things." he spoke up, starting up a conversation with Akira. Lee hadn't even paid attention if Hiroaki was following them or not. Lee had seen him at his gym battle and appreciated the support, but Lee kinda lost track of everything after following Akira and getting so lost in thought.

Hiroaki just remained quiet as he walked behind his two friends while Brianna was still on his shoulder. He could tell that Akira was nervous about going to the breeder area but he also knew that this may be the best way to Akira to start getting over whatever she is feeling about bird Pokemon and maybe her Taillow will also help out in her getting over her fear or whatever. He was also curious at what the breeder station would be like and what kind of bird Pokemon would be there.

"Um...I'm not really all that sure actually," Akira admitted nervously, kicking at a rock in the path. "Back home, things were a lot more simple. I'm not even sure if mom and dad had to go through anything like this to become breeders. But if I'm gonna do this here, I want to do it the right way, so that means I've gotta do this," she added cheerfully.
"TAI~LOW!" Sumire screeched into her ear unhappily.
"Stop doing that! I'll feed you later," Akira said, jumping nearly three feet into the air.

Lee nodded along to what Akira was saying to him. While she spoke, however, he noted that Hiroaki was still with them. He was just walking behind them silently, which would make sense why Lee didn't notice him right away. He had to wonder what was on Hiroaki's mind. Usually when someone was that quiet and lagging behind everyone else, typically something was on their mind.
Lee knew what was on his mind and why he had been quiet. He was still thinking over his first gym battle. That and the newest addition to his team. But he was done keeping quiet and thinking to himself. He had struck up a conversation with Akira, and she had finished responding to him. It seemed she didn't know much more than he did. She did know to get a riddle from the gym leader though. That was certainly more than Lee knew right there. It was a start, anyway.
Lee felt the need to be as helpful as he could. He certainly didn't know anything about breeding. Heck, he only had enough knowledge to pass as a trainer as far as he viewed himself. That didn't mean he wouldn't make an effort, however. "Well there was that riddle from the gym leader, right? That's something. Have you figured it out? I can't remember everything she had said to you." he responded back to her, thinking on what the gym leader had said and trying to remember everything.

"I think I've got it figured out," Akira said nervously, not really sure if she really knew or not, but there was no reason to admit that in front of her friends. "We're supposed to find a...Fearow, and it said to find him on the left side of the town, so if we walk along here, we should find him soon enough," she continued, shuddering slightly when she said the Pokemon's name.

Lee hummed to himself as he scratched his chin. "A Fearow, eh? Gustella Town loves it's flying pokemon, that's for sure." he said aloud as he continued walking along with Akira. He wondered just when they would find this Fearow and why there was a Fearow on the left side of Gustella Town. Was there a nest? Was the Fearow wild? Did the Fearow belong to someone?
Lee had no clue. Lee was trying to recall the riddle and see if anything would be given there as to why she had to find a Fearow. Lee had seen the occassional Fearow pass over Dust Town before. He knew them to be quite large. "A Fearow shouldn't be too hard to spot, anyway. They're pretty big." Lee said to Akira as he walked along with her, wondering when they'd find this Fearow she had to look out for on this side of town.

"Y-Yeah, really big," Akira said, shaking as she imagined the Fearow they were looking for finding them and swooping her up in it's talons. After that, her imagination just got worse until she was interrupted by Sumire pecking at her shoulder in hunger. "Stop that! There's no food there," Akira said with a sigh. "Anyway, can we stop talking about the Fearow? I really don't want to be thinking about that right now."

Lee held out his hands and shrugged to himself. He was just trying to be helpful, but if she didn't want to talk about it then he couldn't begrudge her for that. "Suit yourself. I'll not talk about it any further then." He then grabbed a pokeball that was secured on his person. He looked inside, inspecting the pokemon within. It was one he was considering using during the battle, but Maverick did the job for him. This pokemon didn't debut at all. Well, now was just a good a time as any for her grand appearance. He could stand to walk with various pokemon on his team anyway.
He wouldn't let them all out at once, or atleast not too often. That'd be pretty hectic keeping track with a full party. But this one deserved some face time, as it were. "Tyni, I choose you!" Lee said as the pokemon from within was released from it's pokeball. After a few moments, Tyni looked up at her trainer. "Lar? Larvitar?" she questioned, wondering what he might have called for. Lee grinned and knelt down next to her for a moment, scratching the top of her head.
"Figured you might want to stretch your legs. Last time you were out of your pokeball was at the pokecenter with the rest of our team." Lee explained. He patted Tyni on the head then stood back up again, catching up with Akira and walking alongside her. Tyni liked the reasoning behind it, so she followed happily behind Lee, singing a little tune. "Lar Larvitar. Lar Larvitar!" as she now began hopping along to the tune behind Lee.

"Aw, she's so cute," Akira said cheerfully, hugging Tyni happily as a shadow passed over them. Looking up, she saw a large Fearow flying over head and quickly ran behind Lee to hide. "I-I found it," she said nervously, pointing at the flying Pokemon as it continued on it's path. "W-We should follow it. You go first," she added, pushing Lee forward.

Lee smiled a bit when Akira went to hug his Larvitar. Tyni seemed confused at first that someone other than her trainer was touching her but she wasn't all that startled by it. Instead, she accepted the embrace and gave as much of a hug back as she could, her tiny arms reaching only so far across Akira's neck. As Akira noticed the shadow above them, however, and grew afraid, Tyni jumped forward, growling in a protective stance. "Laaaaar!" she screamed out, giving the owner of the shadow plenty of warning not to mess with her humans.
Lee, however, suddenly found himself a human shield. "Whoa whoa whoa!" he exclaimed, then suddenly found himself being pushed forward by Akira. He wanted to be helpful, but a human shield wasn't exactly what he pictured! As Akira stuttered and spoke to him, Lee began recalling everything since she met her. He was so dense. He didn't catch on until just now. He put a palm on his face, smacking himself on the forehead lightly. "Birds. You don't like birds."
He turned around and faced Akira, Larvitar jumping onto his shoulder to look at Akira as well. "Fine. I'll lead. I'll follow the Fearow, you follow behind me." He said to her, placing a hand on her shoulder for reassurance. He then removed it and with both hands, picked up Tyni off his shoulder. "She's nice and accepted you pretty quick. You can hold Tyni. She'll protect you. We'll protect you." he said, still reassuring her and handing her his little Larvitar. He would begin following the Fearow shortly after.

As they walked in, there were multiple cages with bird pokemon inside of them. While they looked, a peeping sound was heard, and upon looking down they saw what looked like a very small Ho-oh. It cheeped at them and began to waddle away towards the back of the room. In the back, a Moltres stood next to the Fearow from earlier, a table with 6 eggs set up in front of them. The Ho-oh waddled to Moltres, who gently picked it up in its wings and hugged it close while the Fearow narrowed its eyes at the newcomers, pushing a note forward. Trevor is ill, I, Screecher, will manage your test. You must find two eggs, one is fake, the other is not a flying type. Figure out which they are and you pass. Said the note as the bird gestured towards the eggs on the table.

"Thanks," Akira said, hugging Tyni close to her as she followed along after Lee towards the breeding center. Once she arrived, she smiled at the small Ho-Oh, though she still chose to keep her distance from it, as well as the rest of the birds in the center, which she quickly found harder than she thought. Looking over each of the eggs curiously, she examined each of them over and over until she was sure about her answer. "Um...I think that this one is the fake and this is the wrong type," she said nervously, not sure if Screecher was listening to her. Fake: Wrong Type:

"You're welcome." Lee responded simply, but smiled at her. He was glad that could comfort her some. Tyni nestled into Akira as the small Larvitar was being held. "Lar! Lar!"the Larvitar exclaimed, happy to be held by her. Lee looked over his shoulder, grinning. He was so glad the Larvitar was so good natured and cheerful being held by someone who was a complete stranger not too long ago. "I think she's taken quite a liking to you." he stated what seemed to be the obvious.
As he was entering the breeding center, still leading, he was surprised to see a small Ho-Oh. He held up his pokedex. "Ho-oh. The Rainbow Pokemon. It possesses seven-colored wings. It is said that those who see Ho-Oh are promised an eternal happiness." Lee closed his pokedex and put it back in his pants pocket and looked back at Akira. "Well, that was...uh...interesting. Eternal happiness, huh?" he didn't expect an answer to his question. As he walked in further, he saw what the Ho-Oh was interacting with.
"Oh my." he said simply, recognizing the Moltres right away. He pulled his pokedex from his pocket yet again. "Moltres. The Flame Pokemon. One of the legendary bird Pokémon. It is said that its appearance indicates the coming of spring." Lee's mouth hung open for a moment. A Ho-Oh and a Moltres, two legendary bird pokemon and Lee was seeing them both together.
He was so caught up in seeing the two legendaries, that he hadn't noticed the Fearow handing Akira something. He was suddenly brought back to reality right as she chose her eggs. He looked at both of them closely, but couldn't tell if what she chose was correct or not. Lee wasn't a breeder. Being able to tell what egg was what wasn't the easiest thing for him. "Hope you didn't choose...poorly." he said to her, though not sounding as encouraging as he wanted.

The fearow nodded at Akira, warbling happily as he knocked the purple egg down. The baby ho-oh jumped out of Moltres' wings to start kicking the egg around while Moltres retreated into the back room, sticking her head inside the door, pulling it back out. She held her head over Akira and opened her beak slightly, showing a brown-and-blue cherish ball clamped tightly between the two halves of her beak.
