Kain didn't read the news. He hardly ever did. The only times he ever did was when he heard something interesting or important amongst the people in his town. So, not knowing that a good number of the gym leaders were gone, he stood looking out at an empty field that was supposed to be the Pokemon Gym. Honestly he didn't know whether or not anybody was there. He hoped so, but for the moment, a tumbleweed would have been at home in this place. A slight frown was on his face as he really didn't want to go to the next town over just to get his first badge. True he would have much better luck with the next town, but he was feeling particularly lazy and wanted to get this over with. "Hell-oooo? Is there anyone here?" He called out, walking over to a cabin over by the field. Hopefully someone was there...
