Leaving home had been a start for her. Getting her companions had been another. Now, though, was where things truly began.
Early afternoon saw Norah on the road, back the way she had come this morning. This time was different, though. This time, she had the two most adorable companions anyone could ever ask for right beside her.
Well...Lucas, the zorua, was right beside her, walking almost close enough for her to feel his fur against her leg. The dark fox pokemon had taken to her as quickly as she had taken to him and it seemed he feared any possibility of being separated from the human girl. He was also quiet. So quiet that Norah had no idea yet what his voice sounded like.
Then there was the teddiursa, Eve. She had started to sing as they set foot on the route. "Ursa, ursa, teddiursa!" Was repeated over and over, in various intonations and pitches. Eve kept in sight of her two companions, but walked to and fro ahead of them, checking out everything that caught her eye.
Norah giggled as she watched the young bear pokemon explore. She had been happy to be let out of the lab, and seemed to want to explore everywhere. It was cute, though the breeder was a little worried. Lucas might behave well enough, but Eve could prove to be a handful, with her endless curiosity. Still...they were in an area that beginning trainers could wander across safely. What was the worst that could happen?
