On the Road Again~

"Mmm, if I'm being honest, probably not," admitted Nadia. "But if it bothers you that much," she chuckled.

Aidan was still enthralled with the small scorpion pokemon, now praising it's intelligence. "And you're so smart too~" he cooed. "What are you- OH HOLY SHCNIKES! IS THAT A MEW?"

Nadia's was about to go all kamikaze on her brother when her jaw dropped open. He wasn't wrong. "No-no way!" Her expression grew from bewilderment to amazement in a mere moment. She pushed Cassie gently on the shoulder, pointing frantically at the Mew. "Is that yours? A real mew? I mean, I knew legendaries flocked here and all but GEEZ! That's amazing!"

Cassie flinched and grabbed Mirage's tail and pulled her into her arms. "N-n-no she's a a Ditto." Damn it why had she never learned to lie? and why hadn't she explained how dangerous the world was for a legendary Pokemon?

Mirage glared up at her trainer "Me Mew Mew!" I really am a Mew! Cassie clamped a hand over her mouth and let out a nervous laugh. Mew sighed and curled into her trainer's shoulder. She liked the way her trainer smelled of sunshine and flowers, even is she didn't like her hard headed way of refusing she was what she actually was. If she wanted a stupid Ditto she'd give her a stupid Ditto. She used transform to turn into a Ditto.

Cassie squirmed at the feel of Mew transforming in her arms. She smiled Maybe she didn't have to explain the need to hide her true form Cassie thought. Until Mirage started to blow bubbles and watch them drift in the wind.

"Uh-uh Cass! Now way! That is a LEGIT Mew in your hands I'm sure of it!" Nadia crossed her arms, and leaned in to stare at the pokemon, now appearing to be a ditto. "I make it my business to be a fantastic liar, Cass. I'm pretty good at telling when people aren't telling the truth."

Aidan was quite enjoying himself, popping the bubbles floating about the breeze. "She's adorable!" he exclaimed, winking at the pokemon posed as a Ditto.

"Seriously, Aidan?! Don't you ever have anything better to say?"

"Well at least I didn't just admit to being a compulsive liar!"

"I didn't say I did all the time!"

"But you do-"

"AIDAN!"

Abby was watching everything and was just as surprised about the Mew as the siblings were, although she didn't say anything. Missy seemed quite stunned at seeing the legendary Mew, including Tyrone who both seemed awed by it. Abby however flicked them both in the back of the head, making them do resounding "OW!" sounds.

"Its not polite to gawk you two..." She huffed, making Missy grumble a bit. Tyrone didn't mind so much and sniffed a part of the Mew-turned-Ditto's gunky body.

Abby looked at Cassie and smiled. "Well now! This is going to be an interesting competition! I believe you have the upper hand with your Mew, but now you gave me some incentive to get better!"

Abby laughed and Missy smiled, crossing her arms and looking at her Coordinator. "Yeah! That's what i like to hear!"

"Well I'm not sure I'm going to use Mew at first. I don't want every one in the whole world that a newbie trainer has a Mew and just might be dumb enough to trade her away or have her stolen."

Cassie shrugged and tickled Mirage. "I happen to like my Mirage." Mirage giggled and morphed back into her true form. She nuzzled into Cassie then went over to bug Arid with her Bubblebeam. he waved his claws around trying to pop them. "If you want to pop them try using a Poison Sting or Twineedle." Arid gave on 'ah ha' look and proceeded to fire off poison sting attacks. "Watch where you aim."

"Hmm that might be a decent combo."

she looked over at Aiden. "You said something about having a Torkoal. How are you going to make a fire water combo? They usually cancel each other out? and what about you Abby? A fire type with a normal-type. You'll have to be careful so Missy doesn't get burned.""

"Yeah..." Aidan gave Cassie a sheepish smile. "Torkal and and Oshawott." Pausing, Aidan tucked his hands into the pockets on his jeans, contemplating what he actually could possibly do with a fire and a water type as he watched Meri happily scurry about the other pokemon. It would be difficult, no doubt, but he had a good feeling in the pit of his stomach. Of course, that could just be breakfast sitting well.

"I think, whenever I do manage to show of what they can do together, it'll be great," Aidan said slowly, trying to finish his thoughts. "The whole they shouldn't be able to work well together might pay out in my favor if i can do something successfully, yanno? And there's always the fact I could catch a few more pokemon to help.." Meri's small ears perked up at Aidan's last few words and she gave him a curious glance. He smiled softly and finished. "But I owe it to my first two partners to do the best I can."

Abby chuckled. "Yeah, it would be cool for a fire water combo to work... Maybe something steamy or something would be cool!" Missy then groaned suddenly, causing Tyrone and Abby to stare at her.

Missy looked at them and shook her head, her mouth open and eyes wide. "Dur! You are giving them ideas! Remember? Its a competition Abby, not a get together!"

Abby looked at her for a bit and blinked her eyes a few times, Missy just staring back. Then Abby let loose a heartful laugh, catching her Pokemon off-gaurd. Missy stamped her foot a bit and turned slight red. "Whats... whats so funny?!?!"

Abby toned down a bit and just smiled at Missy, rubbing her head a bit. "Man Missy... just take it easy! We should be fine either way and these aren't our enemies after all! Just chill hun!" Missy was still a bit embarrassed by her Coordinator's aspects but eventually just relaxed, sitting on the ground again.

So. Much. NOISE! As the group passed by a low swath of foliage, the large leaves began to shake, a large puffy tail sticking out as the pokemon followed them from underneath his home. All he wanted to do was take a nap under the shade, but ohhhh no. Those trainers didn't think about anything but themselves! He'd show them who was boss for sure, especially once they got to that little dip in the road. Scampering beside the path, the Pachirisu leapt out in front of the group, his arms flailing as he fussed at them all.

"Pachi pachi, PACHI PACHI! Pachirisu!"

Of course, all he was doing was making more racket, and in a few minutes time both a Sentret and Seedot hobbled over to see what the commotion was. The Sentret huffed as soon as she saw the trainers. Ohh no no no, she remembered what happened with these people. They tried to catch you and take you away from your home! The Seedot simply stood and watched, oblivious of the battle that was about to form. And then, out of nowhere, a Buizel walked up on the path behind them, tilting his head curiously.

Everyone was blocked off by pokemon now. There was no other option but to try and fight.

Rapidash glared at the Buizel. She turned so she could kick it. Cassie saw this and before she could lash out she returned her.

"Can I take the Buizel, please?" Buizel would fit perfectly into her plan of having a Pokemon to Fly, to ride, to cross water, and to send messages with.

She gave a starry eyed look to her new aquatints.

Abby immediately got up and looked at the Pokemon surrounding them. She smirked and nodded at Cassie, accepting that fact. "Yeah, go for it Cassie!" She then looked at the Pachirisu and smiled, going for the little squirrel. "I have my eyes on another Pokemon..." Tyrone and Missy both looked at Abby and smiled, but Missy shoved Tyrone to the front line, much to his surprise. Abby sighed and shook her head. "Fine then... Tyrone, go right in with a Tackle!"

The little Cyndaquil immediately lunged in and gave the Pachirisu a fierce Tackle attack!

[RESULT: 5]

The attack did some damage but not a bunch. The Pachirisu certainly seemed a bit peeved now. Immediately after he got back up, he performed a Quick Attack on Tyrone.

Wow! Big hit. Tyrone was sprawled backwards from the hit and was in front of Abby. Abby gritted her teeth a bit as the Pachirisu mocked Tyrone a bit. Abby went at it again with Tyrone, helping him up. "Tyrone, Flame Burst!" Immediately the Cyndaquil shot out a bullet of flame at the Pachirisu.

[RESULT: 0]

The Pachirisu was a total miss, the Pachirisu immediately coming around and following up with another Quick Attack.

Tyrone was expecting the Quick Attack this time but couldn't dodge it, getting fwapped by the Pachirisu's tail as an insult. He was hurting now but immediately let loose another Flame Burst in response to the Pachirisu's attack.

[RESULT: 6]

The Pachirisu was not expecting the quick response from Tyrone and had a full on blast of fire at him. The Pachirisu got up, huffing a bit, and let loose a mighty Growl!
