On the Road Again~

Tyrone wasn't even effected by the Growl attack and immediately followed up with a Tackle attack, hoping to weaken it some more.

The Pachirisu was hit by the soft blow of an attack and was staggering now, very weak. He tried immediately for another Growl attack, hoping to weaken his opponents blows.

Tyrone was hit full blast by the Cyndaquil and flinched at the Growl, not expecting it to be so powerful. Before he could do anything though, Abby stepped in with a Pokeball, smiling a bit. "Alright Tyrone, thats enough. I think this little bugger is gonna be mine!" Abby then threw the ball straight at the Pachirisu, immediately connecting with his head. The throw however was so fierce that it knocked the Pachirisu back a bit as it went red and into the Pokeball.

Missy looked at Abby wide eyed and mouth agape. "Where the HELL did you learn to throw like that?!" Abby sweatdropped and chuckled. "I was a pitcher for Softball, hehe..."

Missy rolled her eyes as she watched the Pokeball clicked once, twice, then three times, eventually settling down. Abby smirked and went over to the ball, picking it up and smiling. "Well, that was a cool experience!"

Abby laughed and picked up her injured Tyrone, cuddling him close. "And you did wonderful! I am so proud!" Tyrone gave up a tired "Cynda~" and fell asleep in her arms.

Abby then looked at the others who should have started their battles by now and expectedly watched each of them, hoping for the best.

Cassie bounced with glee at the prospect of getting a water-type. now who to use? she took out a coin and flipped it heads Mirage. it landed tails. "Arid let's see what you're made of."Arid scurried over to stand between his trainer and the Buizel.

"Alright then Poison sting!"

The Buizel took a few hits then jumped out of the way to Growl at Arid. Arid fire a few more but all the rest missed leading Cassie to believe that the first few hits were pure luck. Cassie slapped her head. Arid's aim was terrible. "Arid we need to work on your aim. Let's try a physical attack. Bite!"

Buizel screamed a Sonic Boom directly into Arid's ears.

"Shake it off and use Twineedle."

Buizel wasn't giving up. He wobbled on his feet and used Sonicboom again.

Cassie flinched in sympathy, that was loud. "Try using Poison Sting Again."

Cassie took out a ball and chucked it at the Buizel. It fell short and only reached him when it bounced. Apparently Arid wasn't the only one who needed to work on their aim.

Aidan gave his companions thumbs up as the they eagerly attempted to battle and capture new teammates, excited for the both of them. Turning to his sister he pointed to the Seedot. "Think I can take that one? He looks like he'd be fun for contests," he threw out quickly, hoping she'd agree.

Nadia huffed a little bit, trying to make her frustration and disappointment a little less evident then it already was. She was getting last pick in a group of people that already had two pokemon each and she wasn't exactly thrilled about the situation, but there wasn't much she could do now. She felt her brother's gaze changing from that of a childlike eagerness to a concerned confusion and she quickly smiled. "Go for it," she offered, trying her best to mean it. Surely the little normal type wouldn't be that bad.

Beaming, Aidan turned towards the Seedot who was wobbling around, seemingly confused as to what exactly was going on. Meri squeaked happily up towards her trainer, but blinked in surprise when a flash a red revealed he had sent Ty out instead. Patting her quickly on ther head, Aidan assured her 'next time.'

Meanwhile Ty was now obediently smiling at his master, waiting for a command. "Alight Ty!" Aidan cheered. "Let's start with a Ember!"

Seedot: 5/15
Ty: 25/25

Aidan almost jumped back in surprise as the small acorn like pokemon was engulfed in orange flames and staggered back weakly as they died down. "Nice job Ty!" Not wanting to draw the battle out any longer Aidan quickly dug out a pokeball from his bag and threw it at the Seedot, not quite as hard as Abby, but without requiring a bounce like Cassie.


Meanwhile Nadia turned her attention to the Sentret that was blocking their path, instructing Freya to be ready. The Trapinch scuttled over quickly, stopping in front of her trainer, ready to battle.

"Alright Freya! Let's try a Bite!"

"Trap!"

[RESULT: 2]

Sentret: 15/15
Freya: 25/25

The Sentret bounded out of the way with little effort. Before the slower pokemon could move away, Sentret bounced forward on it's tail, intent on using Scratch on the pokemon who had so rudely come after it. Nadia watched on in frustration. "Try Struggle Bug Freya!"

Sentret: 10/15
Freya: 20/25

This time Freya's attack did little and the Sentret was not pleased in the slightest with it's current annoyance. It's eyes began to glow as it utilized Foresight. Freya tried her best to scuttle out of the way as Nadia commanded another Bite.

Neither attacks did too much and Nadia was growing frustrated and a but worried. She could tell Sentret was going in for another attempted Scratch before her pokemon could, and she tried to warn her. "Freya move!

Alas, Nadia's urges did not help. "C'mon Freya! Let's try Bulldoze!"

[RESULT: Miss]

There wasn't one particular emotion consuming Nadia as she watch the Sentret scurry off as fast as it possible could, retreating to the tall, green grass in seek of escape. Freya chattered in surprise, making motions to chase after if, but Nadia knew this was a lost cause. She jogged over to her starter and scooped the pokemon up, rubbing Freya gently on the head with her knuckles. "Nice try Freya. Thanks," she said simply and a bit stoically.

She turned to glance at the other three, all who seemed to have caught their chosen pokemon. Great. Now they all had three, and she had one. Some trainer she was turning out to be. Still, she smiled, offering congratulations to the others as best she could.

Abby bit her lip, looking at Nadia and touching her shoulder gently. "Well, sorry you didn't catch that Sentret... Honestly, I think that if anyone was to get one, it should have been you..." She sighed and smiled a bit, shaking Nadia slightly. "But don't worry! There is always next time, THAT I do know!"

Tyrone's snoring suddenly caught her attention and she smiled, returning him to his ball with a quick red beam of of light. Missy swanked over, licking her paw a bit and smiled. "Well, he was something... I think I could have done better honestly~" She chuckled and leaned against Abby, smirking.

Cassie Frowned slightly. "Try not to worry about it too much Nadia. we win some we lose some. The only thing that matters is that you learn from your experiences and keep moving. That's what Dad would always say."

"Hmm what should I name you?" Cassie mummer-ed at the ball.

Mirage glared to the pokeball. She was Cassie's Pokemon. She should be the one participating in the up coming contest. Mirage nuzzled against Cassie's neck to remind her of her presence.

Cassie scratched the mew behind the ears. "You're a sweetie Mirage." She put the Ball in her bag. She could come up with a name later. "Arid darling you were wonderful." Arid coo-ed happily while looking at his partner. Why was she mad?

[dizzy]

Aidan glanced over to his sister, noticing that her Sentret had indeed got away. He knew her smile was a bit forced and he quickly gave her a bit of a squeeze. "I'm sorry Nadia. But the others are right too. You definitely deserved that catch, but there's always a next time."

Nadia smiled at her companions. It wasn't really in her nature to mope about, and although she was quite disappointed in her lack of a capture, she knew the others were right and she was glad they were around to tell her so.

"Alright guys c'mon!" she cheered, punching her brother affectionately in response to his hug. "Let's get a move on to Gustella!"

(Alright, i would say that we could auto go to Gustella now if you want but i have been also asked by Cat to help out with Starters and Wild Pokemon for a bit XP so i am going to post your Wild Pokemon right now XP
