Con was glad Yuki was there to help, and glanced at his young Rufflet, who wasn’t fairing too well. He wanted to get this battle done with as soon as he could. Glancing over to Yuki again, he cleared his throat.

“Alright, go ahead with one more peck and let’s hope it works!” Con called to his Pokemon, who was at the ready.

It was a good hit! and with that, Lulu's machop was down.

"Oh no Machop! Make it pay Luke!" Lulu called pleadingly to her boyfriend.

"Tackle that rufflet Geodude!"

It was jusr more damage for poor Crescendo, who was now really exhausted.

(The first result for Crescendo's hit was 8, but the battle thing goofed on me and switched to 6 when i was calculating Geodude's hit, just so everyone knows~)

Bruce was hopping mad now! How DARE that Geodude beat up Crescendo?! How DARE IT?! He rushed at the Geodude, preparing for another Vital Throw.

Yuki yelped. He hadn't ordered an attack yet! "Bruce what are you DOING? I didn't say to attack!" No matter, the Mienfoo had flown into a rage and would not listen to Yuki!

BAMMMMMM! That Geodude was done for! Both Lulu and Luke looked rather upset. Seems that they had underestimated the power of Bruce's friendship!

Con sighed as the battle was finally over, and thanked Lulu and Luke as they left, whether they wanted thanks or not. Con bent down and patted Crescendo lightly, ruffling his soft feathers before getting up. He looked around now, and then at Yuki, smiling warmly at his friend.

“Great job Yuki, Bruce is getting really strong.” He commented, Patting Bruce as well.He didn’t know what they would meet next, so he closed his eyes a moment.

“Hey Yuki, what do you think? We’re doing well, right?” He asked, curious of the boy’s answer.
