Carina rolled her eyes at the pokemon as she trotted up behind them. Seeing a pidgey on a bush not too far away, Carina sighed and walked up to it, petting it on the head and shooing it off with her hands, holding a note in one hand, She crumpled it up and shoved it into her pocket, stretching her arms afterwards.

"It seems something has come up. I wish I could stay here and play with you some more, but I gotta get going. Here, take these, I don't need them. Be seein ya dollface." She said with a wink as she handed him six rare candies and ran off into the brush before he could say anything.

"Oh Gauge, quit looking so disappointed. Getting so attached to every woman you see isn't the way to go, doll. You'll only get your heart broken that way~" Chinook yipped, whisking her tails around as she chuckled. Gauge snorted. He was not attached. He didn't even like Carina! He just couldn't help but wonder what on earth was so important to a new breeder that someone had to send postal Pidgeys out to summon her. After a little pondering he shrugged, deciding he didn't honestly care.

"Is it a crime to be surprised nowadays?" he groaned, adjusting his hat as he looked at the items in his other hand. The Vulpix sauntered forward, as did Kalkaska (who'd been placed on the ground), sniffing at his hand. "No, but I'll tell you what is a crime. That you haven't given us those candies yet! Shame on you. I hope the next Breeding Center head recognizes how much we've been abused and doesn't allow you to take the test." This time it was the Zorua who rolled his eyes, sitting down and looking up at the teen expectantly.

"Maybe if you learned some manners, you wouldn't be so mistreated." In a flash, he unwrapped one of the candies and sniffed it, as if he was trying to make sure they were okay. Chinook tilted her head and opened her mouth, but he cut in before she could say a word. "Haven't you ever heard that you're not supposed to take candy from strangers?" And then her ears flattened in disgust.

"Really? Arceus, Gauge. Just feed us!" It seemed she was nearly begging now, and after a prim sniff of her own, she curled all six of her tails around her paws, acting as if sitting down on the ground was the most sinful act to ever have been done. A few more seconds of inspection and the breeder fed three each to his pokemon, making sure to notice the effects. The two certainly looked peppier, and all of a sudden, both of them began to display new attacks on each other. Kal was doused in a faint black glow, while Chinook flat out roared, now standing with her paws splayed as she forced the wild pokemon around them to flee.

"Pursuit and Roar. Awesome. Now, let's not waste any time in getting to Gustella now that we're finally alone."
