Taking a first step.

[Erin]

Erin hopped off the Pidgeotto, her guitar case over her shoulder. "Yo! Thanks!" she said, placing money in the pouch around it's body and stepping back, giving a quick wave as it flew off towards it's original location. She stretched and placed her direction at a building larger than the others. She jogged over towards it to see it was. "Sweet!" she said, pumping her fists before knocking loudly on the door.

[Professor Conifer]

Professor Conifer was working hard as usual when she herd the loud knocking on the door. It seems she had company. Setting down her work, the professor got up and walked over to the door and opened it up to a unique individual. "Ah, hello welcome to the Pokemon lab, come in come in!" She said, allowing Erin entrance inside.

"So I take it your here for your Pokemon, correct?" Professor Conifer asked the pink-headed young woman with a smile.

[Mio]

Erin welcomed herself in, "Yeah! I've heard all about you!" she said, looking around the lab, letting her eyes examine every spec of dust in the room. She twisted her long pink hair in her fingers, turning around to look at the Professor, "Oh right! Introductions! Sorry! My name is Erin Freeman, it's a pleasure to meet you Professor Conifer!" she said with enthusiasm.

[Professor Conifer]

Professor Conifer nodded. "The pleasure's all mine. Well, since you already know me, let's get to the fun part, shall we?" Professor Conifer led Erin to the back of the lab where a play pin full of Pokemon played around. A variety of happy Pokemon cries could be heard and it only got more excited and happy as the Pokemon saw Erin.

"These are the current Starter Pokemon we have available today, however if these aren't what your looking for, we also have three mystery balls. I warn you though, I have seen anything from a Caterpie to an Arceus pop out of those and once you pick a mystery ball, you can't change your mind. Breeders and Coordinators can have two Pokemon, while Trainers and Racers may only have one." Professor Conifer smiled as she spoke, once she finished she waited patiently and watched what Erin would Choose.

[Poppy Jr.]

Seemingly out of no where, A Small boy hopped into the building, Looking extremely excited for some reason. This boy had just arrived in the region and, after arriving, was told that they should visit this professor first before anything. Maybe this professor could tell him where he needed to go?

But oh!, He was not the only one who was here it seemed. He Stood in the door way where he had just appeared, and looked between the two, wondering which one the professor was. Because that totally wasn't obvious to him right now.

[Erin]

Erin looked at the pokemon amazed, "Ahh! They're so cute! I think I'll have-" she was interrupted by a newcomer, "Hey there!" she said, waving him over, "Come look at these cute pokemon!" she announced, looking back over at them, "As I was saying, I think I'll take that Dratini, and that Mystery Ball on the right!" she said, feeling confident about her decisions.

[andrew]

Andrew walks in without a care. "I'm here for my pokemon I called in." Andrew ignores the other two and stares blankly ahead.

[Spirit]

Professor Conifer Smile and gently pulled out the Dratini, setting her on the ground outside of the pin. She looked at Erin shyly, she was unsure what to do. After a few hesitated seconds, the snake-like Dragon slithered over to Erin, staring up at her with big eyes.

Then the Professor walked over to the Mystery ball that Erin asked for and released the Pokemon inside, after the light faded, a blue creature stood. One who seemed to have a bit of an attitude, he immediately jumped over to Erin and let himself be known with one loud "Wooper!" After giving out his cry he then looked over, noticing the Dratini and immediately began to kick at her. He didn't actually land a kick on her, but he sure was getting close enough.

After Erin's Pokemon were handed out Professor Conifer noticed the others at the door. "Oh, you two can come in, are you two here for Pokemon as well? If so, we have them all out and ready so feel free to come and pick what you want.

[Erin]

Erin frowned at the Wooper, shaking her finger, "Be nice!" she said, before looking back at the Professor, "Heh! Thanks! I'll be sure to take good care of these guys!" she assured her, crouching down and petting both of them on the heads gently.

[Poppy Jr.]

Taking overly large steps towards the now identified professor, he took a quick glance at the pokemon that were out "oooh. Lotsa choices. "

He tok a very, quick glance at the Larvitar and Cyndaquil, jumping between the two slightly like a rabbit. He seemed so undecided for the few minutes he spent looking at the pokemon. And at the same time, he seemed... happy? If that's even possible.

But then suddenly, he stood straight and said "No No No. I don't like what i see... But I guess I could always take a chance. I'LL DO IT!"

He had no idea what he was getting into but, he had a dream. And By Golly, he was going to stick to that dream! And without haste, he pointed to the remaining mystery balls. ill take one of those. The one that was int he middle!"

He was seriously too happy looking for his own good.

[andrew]

Andrew stared with apathy at the pokemon in front of him. He ignored them and grabbed the mystery ball, smiling lightly and shooting a sharp look at Erin before winking at her and walking to the professor.

[Professor Conifer]

Professor Conifer grabbed the last two Mystery balls and released the Pokemon from their contents. The first one to be release was...Wait...That's not one?! Nor is it two, or three. What is this? Six little eggs came out of the first Pokeball, laughing like a crazy mad man. Upon noticing his trainer, one dressed like a clown the group of eggs dashed towards him, all still laughing strangely to themselves.

The second one was a little more calming as a green praying mantis like creature came out of the Mystery ball, she calmly looked at her trainer, he seemed ok to her. She would not judge him, but he better not upset her...He would not like her if she got upset. "...Hello." The female Scyther said, deciding it would be rude not to say hello to her new partner,

"Well, now that everyone has their Pokemon, you will all need your equipment." Professor Conifer led the Trio and their Pokemon over to a table that had items, bags and Pokedexes on it. "Take what you like and good luck on your Journey."

Erin grinned and picked up the last bag, and a Red Pokedex. She picked up the Dratini and Wooper and placed them inside the bag, their heads poking out, "Thanks Professor! Seeya around!" she said, jogging out of the door with Pokemon groans.

[Poppy Jr.]

The only thing Poppy needed to hear was laughter. The moment the bunch of eggs clambered over to him, His picked every single one of them up and looked them dead int he eyes. Both smiling at each other, seeming perpetually.

Then the Boy started to juggle them. "Yaaay! It's like little bombs! Except it's a pokemon!" And the two laughed. And Laughed. And laughed. And Laughed some more.

Caught up in his fun, He didn't even notice the gear laying out. If someone didn't grab his attention, he might walk out without taking anything at all.

[andrew]

Picking up the bag second from the left and packing his stuff up, getting his white Pokedex. Andrew looked at Poppy while scratching his Scyther. "Kid, don't forget your crud." Andrew packed the rest of his items and mounted his Scyther, watching in surprise as she looked at him. "Careful, master. Don't want to harm yourself." In response, Andrew just gave a huge smile to the Scyther. "Let's go. AFTER THAT GIRL!" The Scyther shot out the door, chasing after the girl ahead of them.
